According to IDC’s report, Huawei shipped more than 54 million smartphones in Q2 this year, taking 15.8% of the total market share and get a 40.9% YoY increase.
The report commented that Huawei’s P20/P20 Pro series found strong demand in the $600-$800 price segment, helping Huawei build a high profile in the market. Huawei continued to earn a good reputation globally with the release of its “GPU Turbo” technology.
According to SA, Huawei’s midrange Android models, such as Nova 2S and Nova 3e, are proving wildly popular across Asia and Europe.
