MISC Berhad (MISC) through its subsidiary have signed an agreement with Mitsubishi
Corporation and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) to co-own two newbuild LNG vessels
mainly for the LNG Canada project.
Both LNG carriers have a capacity of 174,000 cubic metres (cbm) and are currently being built by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI). These vessels will feature state-of-the-art technologies including modern XDF propulsion and partial re-liquefaction facility for higher efficiencies and to meet the demand for worldwide trading and long-haul voyages.
Each of the LNG carriers will respectively serve Diamond Gas International Pte. Ltd.’s (DGI)
requirement on an 18-year charter contract.
DGI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation that manages the sales and marketing of Mitsubishi Corporation’s equity offtake of LNG volumes from US and Canada as well as from other countries around the world. These two LNG carriers will be delivered in 2021.

The signing of the agreement took place in Tokyo where MISC was represented by Zahid
Osman who is the Vice President of LNG Business, MISC Berhad. Also present to witness this significant milestone is Yee Yang Chien, President & Group CEO of MISC.
MISC is currently one of the largest single owner-operator of LNG tankers in the world with
distinguished reputation for overall operational excellence, reliability, safety and on-time cargo deliveries.
At present, its LNG fleet comprises of 29 LNG carriers and two FSUs with a combined deadweight tonnage (dwt) capacity of over 2 million dwt.

Persekutuan Tenis Antarabangsa (ITF) dan Kosmos Tennis hari ini mengumumkan AirAsia sebagai rakan rasmi Piala Davis oleh Rakuten Madrid Finals untuk 2019.
Kerjasama dengan syarikat penerbangan tambang rendah terbesar di Asia akan mengukuhkan hubungan antara tenis bertaraf dunia dan Asia Tenggara, dan pada masa yang sama mempamerkan dan mempromosikan rantau dan destinasi uniknya.

Pemain terbaik setiap kumpulan dan dia pemain terbaik yang lain – berdasarkan jumlah permainan set dan pertandingan dimenangi – akan memenuhi syarat untuk mara ke peringkat suku akhir. Juara akan dinobatkan selepas tamat fasa penyingkiran pada Khamis hingga Ahad.

Pengerusi NGO Antarabangsa, Datuk Dr Mustapha Ahmad Marican merupakan salah seorang penerima penghargaan dari Kedutaan Arab Saudi Sempena Hari Kebangsaan Arab Saudi ke-89, semalam.

Mustapha yang memiiki dedikasi tinggi dalam melaksanakan tugasnya juga boleh dianggap seperti seorang Diplomat yang baik kerana diberi pelbagai anugerah dibeberapa Province di kemboja termasuk Anugerah Tertinggi Negara oleh Perdana Menteri, Hun Sen.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman berkata, di pihak kedutaan, pihaknya memberikan sumbangan kitab suci Al-Quran, sejadah dan lain lain keperluan kepada NGO Antarabangsa bagi kepentingan ummah kerana di Kemboja kita tidak mempunyai Kedutaan Arab Saudi.

The heart of the Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC Sedan
The 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine boasts spontaneous response to accelerator pedal commands, high tractive power (400 Nm max. torque from 3000 rpm), a supremely lively response and an engine sound typical of AMG.
The crankcase made of high-strength, lightweight die-cast aluminium reduces the vehicle weight where it matters most for driving dynamics. The engine produces 306 horse power and a remarkable 400 Nm of torque.
Combined with Mercedes-AMG specific 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, the A 35 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.
The sedan is based on a wheelbase of 2,729 millimetres and displays the powerful proportions of a dynamic, and at the same time, compact sedan with a sporty short overhangs at the front and rear.
It includes distinguishing AMG design features such as the radiator grille with twin louvres, the AMG Line front apron with flics on the air intakes, a front splitter and silver chrome trim elements.
Dominating the side view are the 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels and the illuminated door sill panels with Mercedes-Benz lettering. The two-part tail lamps and the new diffuser insert underscore the rear end that emphasises width.
Red/black: Characteristic AMG combination
The seats are ARTICO man-made leather with DINAMICA microfibre in black with red contrasting topstitching and red seat belts. Red piping on the microfibre DINAMICA trim element and ventilation nozzles with a red ring add further accents.
Another new feature is the distinct AMG center console with touchpad and additional switch for operating ESP® and manual transmission mode.
Above-average shoulder, elbow and headroom plus easy access to the rear contribute to increased utility.
The Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC Sedan has a rear headroom of 944mm and a boot that holds 420 litres and was designed for practical usability. The boot opening is very large with a width of 950 mm and a diagonal of 462 mm between lock and lower edge of the rear window. This allows comfortable loading and unloading, even of larger luggage items.
Combines agility and stability
As a new feature in the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs, the new A 35 comes with AMG DYNAMICS. This integrated dynamic handling control system extends the stabilising functions of ESP ® with agile interventions according to the driver’s wishes.
During dynamic cornering, imperceptible braking intervention on the rear inside wheel creates a defined yawing moment about the vertical axis. The effect: the A 35 steers spontaneously and very precisely.
The AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension features an adaptive adjustable damping system, which allows the driver to switch between three different suspension configurations. The spectrum ranges from comfort-focused to sporty.
The system operates fully automatically, adapting the damping forces for each wheel
according to the driving situation and road conditions. This happens within milliseconds and is infinitely variable, with a wide spread of damping characteristics. The result is that ride comfort and agility are enhanced in equal measure.

For the second straight year, Sime Darby Property has been selected as an index component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI).
The inclusion reinforces Sime Darby Property’s sustainability credentials as it is the
only Malaysian property developer to qualify for the Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Market Index alongside other property companies from the Philippines, Thailand, Mexico, Chile, and South Africa.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Market Index comprises emerging-market sustainability leaders identified by RobecoSAM, the investment specialist that focuses exclusively on sustainability investing.
It aims to represent the top 10% of the largest 800 companies in 20 emerging markets, based on long-term economic, environment, and social criteria.

AirAsia menyambut baik pengumuman Indeks Hab Mega OAG 2019 (OAG Megahubs Index 2019) yang mengiktiraf Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur (KUL) sebagai hab mega penerbangan tambang rendah (LCC) paling berhubungan di peringkat antarabangsa di dunia.

The global on-demand logistics service provider continues to serve consumers and businesses across Malaysia in an era of speed and connectivity
A year following its entry into the Malaysian market, global on-demand logistics company Lalamove continues to transform the local logistic landscape.
Leveraging on the internet and its proprietary app, Lalamove aims to create greater
customer satisfaction through same-day deliveries, for both personal and business needs.
Since its arrival on local shores, the budding startup has completed over half a million deliveries. Receiving up to 3,000 orders per day, Lalamove continues to fulfil its promise of same-day deliveries with an average delivery time of just over 30 minutes.
Understanding the changes in the consumer landscape and the need to combine the convenience of online shopping with immediate product access, Lalamove champions same-day delivery, as it is the next evolutionary step in parcel logistics.

AmMetLife Insurance Berhad (AmMetLife) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pantai Premier Pathology Sdn Bhd (Pantai Premier Pathology) to provide precision oncology genomic testing to AmMetLife’s customers at preferential rates.
Through this collaboration, AmMetLife’s customers, including those covered under the HCC BoostUp Rider plan, will be able to enjoy preferential rates when undergoing genomic testing for cancer at Pantai Premier Pathology’s network of 14 medical facilities across Malaysia.
There will be 28 tests that can be carried out, including PROSIGNA and BRCA for breast cancer and EGFR for lung cancer, which can help to assist physicians in making the best treatment decision for cancer patients.
The HCC BoostUp Rider is a first-of-its-kind medical plan in Malaysia that covers genomic testing for cancer, and recently won the Silver Stevie award for the Best New Product of the Year in Financial Services at the 2019 International Business Awards*.
The MoU was signed by Ramzi Toubassy, Chief Executive Officer, AmMetLife and Hareeff Muhammed, Chief Executive Officer, Pantai Premier Pathology. The ceremony which was held at AmMetLife’s head office in Kuala Lumpur, was also attended by senior management of Pantai Premier Pathology and AmMetLife.

According to Hareeff Muhammed, “The demands of modern healthcare are now growing rapidly. Pantai Premier Pathology aims to keep pace with these demands and one of our breakthrough services is the provision of genomic testing for cancer care.
Through this MoU, we can make genomic testing for precision medicine more accessible to cancer patients. We believe this strategic partnership will help to bridge the gap between healthcare services and financing, to provide customers with a more comprehensive and affordable suite of healthcare solutions to improve the quality of their health.”
This MoU will also pave the way for both AmMetLife and Pantai Premier Pathology to work together in raising cancer awareness and its associated risk factors through educational programmes and public health talks.
More importantly, both parties intend to explore collaborating in promoting the relevance of precision oncology genomic testing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer over the next two years.

Jika dilihat pada perbezaan ketara berbanding model terdahulu ialah rekaan baru gril hadapan ‘V-Motion’ yang lebih besar, Lampu Nyalaan Siang LED dan Lampu Hadapan berbentuk Boomerang baru, Lampu Belakang LED Boomerang dalam perumah berwarna gelap.
X-Trail 2019 kali ini juga tampil dengan antena jenis ‘sirip jerung’ yang lebih pendek dan nampak sporty manakala hiasan krom lebih ditonjolkan berbanding model terdahulu.
Bahagian bampar hadapan juga baru sepenuhnya, dengan lampu kabus kini tampil lebih tirus manakala bukaan pintu belakang boleh dilakukan dengan gerakan kaki secara automatik bagi semua varian kecuali yang paling asas.
Suis untuk membuka pintu belakang juga boleh ditekan dari dalam atau menggunakan kunci kawalan jauh. Untuk menutup pula hanya tekan butang dibelakang.
Model ini masih menggunakan rim bersaiz 17-inci, tetapi bagi model 2019, tampil dengan rekaan jejari yang baru.
Ruang dalaman
Paling ketara ialah rekaan stereng rata pada bahagian bawah serba baharu yang turut digunakan pada model Nissan Serena S-Hybrid terbaharu.
Selain itu, paparan digital Advanced Drive Assist pada panel instrumen disediakan dan bagi model hibrid paparan sistem hibrid pada kluster instrumen di hadapan pemandu.
Sistem infotainmen melalui skrin tujuh-inci pada papan pemuka pula dipertingkatkan dengan kini menyokong ciri Android Auto dan Apple CarPlay.
Pada model kali ini suis brek parkir elektrik-mekanikal diperkenalkan bagi menggantikan brek parkir kaki pada model lama dan ciri butang auto hold bagi memudahkan pemandu memberhentikan kenderaan ini ketika dilampu isyarat tanpa perlu menekan pedal brek.
Nissan X-Trail varian hibrid kini hanya tinggal lima-tempat duduk untuk memberi ruang kepada tempat meletak bateri sistem berkenaan di bawah lantai ruang barangan belakang.
Bagaimanapun, daripada semua ciri baharu yang ditawarkan ini, Nissan lebih ke hadapan dalam menawarkan teknologi canggih dan pintar.
Selain kerusi saduran kulit dengan ciri ‘Zero Graviti’ bagi kerusi hadapan, Papan Pemuka serta Pelindungan Lutut dengan kemasan Kulit dan Paparan Bantuan Pemanduan Termaju bersaiz 5-inci nyata memberi penampilan segar berteknologi tinggi dengan sentuhan lebih mewah.
Hanya varian 2.5L 4WD dan 2.0L Hybrid dilengkapi Intelligent Cruise Control, High Beam Assist dan Intelligent Forward Collision Warning dengan Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking (AEB).
Jumlah beg udara untuk tiga varian teratas juga dinaikkan kepada enam semuanya sebagai standard. Varian paling asas hanya menerima empat beg udara. Lain-lain ciri keselamatan yang ada termasuklah Electronic Parking Brake dengan Auto Hold, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), ABS dengan EBD, Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist (HSA) dan dua cagak Isofix.
Enjin
Model ini menggunakan enjin MR20DD 2.0L Twin CVTC suntikan terus dengan janaan kuasa sebanyak 144 PS pada 6,000 rpm dan tork maksimum 200 Nm pada 4,400 rpm.
Ini kemudiannya ditambah pula dengan penggunaan sebuah motor elektrik berkuasa tinggi untuk memberikan pengalaman kenderaan elektrik (EV) yang senyap dan lancar dengan kuasa 41 PS dan 160 Nm.
Ketika enjin dihidupkan, penulis hampir tidak mendengar bunyi enjin kerana ia cukup senyap dan dibantu sepenuhnya oleh kuasa bateri, begitu juga ketika SUV ini bergerak pada kelajuan rendah.
Bateri lithium-ion 0.9 kWh pula diletakkan di bawah lantai ruang barangan sekali gus kerusi baris ketiga tidak dilengkapi pada model hibrid ini.
Bagi bateri lithium-ion yang digunakan ini, ia terdiri daripada empat modul dengan 14 sel, menjadikan jumlah keseluruhan sel ialah 56. Setiap sel mempunyai 3.6V, membawa kepada jumlah keseluruhan 202 Volts, sementara kapasiti bateri yang digunakan ialah 0.9kWh.
Sistem klac model ini juga unik kerana ia memanfaatkan teknologi Nissan Intelligent Dual Clutch, yang merujuk kepada klac yang terletak antara enjin dan motor elektrik serta satu lagi di antara motor elektrik dan transmisi X-CVT.
Kecekapan penggunaan minyak yang boleh dicapai ialah 16.1 km/liter bagi model hibrid ini sekali gus memberikan penjimatan bagi tempoh jangka panjang khususnya ketika harga pasaran minyak yang tidak menentu ketika ini.
Bagi transmisi, semua varian menggunakan unit yang sama iaitu X-Tronic CVT dengan mod manual tujuh-kelajuan dan kawalan stereng juga rasa lebih ringan berbanding model terdahulu.
Lantai bahagian barangan di belakang juga lebih tinggi disebabkan oleh ruang bateri menjadikan ruang yang tersedia ialah 404 liter namun tayar ganti tetap ada.
Dengan enam beg udara, kawalan kestabilan (VDC), kawalan cengkaman (TC), brek enjin aktif, ABS dan sebagainya didatangkan dalam ciri standard menjadikan model ini amat berbaloi dimiliki.
Kesimpulan
Selepas memandu uji model ini pada hujung minggu dalam pelbagai corak pemanduan, penulis mendapati model hibrid ini memberikan kepuasan pemanduan yang menyeronokkan dan sesuai dipandu untuk kegunaan harian ke tempat kerja khususya menempuh kesesakan jalan raya bandar.
Bagi anda yang mahu menjimatkan ‘poket’ bagi perbelanjaan petrol harian, model hibrid adalah model yang sesuai dengan karakter anda. Enjin hibrid menawarkan penjimatan dan prestasi meskipun ketika pedal minyak ditekan.
Nissan X-Trail facelift 2019 ini didatangkan dengan lima-tahun jaminan, dan ini termasuk kelengkapan sistem hibrid yang ada dan baterinya.
Bagaimanapun jika selepas tamat tempoh lima tahun jaminan, bergantung kepada kadar tukaran wang asing semasa, ETCM memaklumkan kos untuk menukar bateri akan mencecah sekitar RM25,000.
Namun, anda mungkin tidak perlu menukar satu set bateri kerana terdapat beberapa sel bateri yang menyokong kuasa bateri SUV ini. Mungkin hanya perlu menukar beberapa sel bateri dan bukannya satu set.
Kehadiran model X-Trail 2019 adalah tepat pada masanya kerana ia memberi saingan kepada model SUV sedia ada dipasaran dan model Nissan juga sudah terbukti model yang menjimatkan bahan api sejak dahulu lagi.
Lima pilihan warna ditawarkan iaitu Putih (Brilliant White), Perak (Tungsten Silver), Hijau (Titanium Olive), Hitam (Diamond Black) dan Imperial Umber (baharu).

Seramai kira-kira 10,000 orang dijangka menyertai Larian Menjunjung Kasih 2019 yang akan diadakan pada 8 Disember ini sempena Hari Keputeraan yang ke-74 Sultan Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj di Padang Timur, Petaling Jaya.
PENGARAH Majlis Sukan Negeri Selangor, Adi Faizal Ahmad Tarmizi berkata, program itu bukan sahaja tertakluk kepada acara larian malah terbuka juga kepada beberapa acara lain seperti street soccer, sukan rakyat, permainan kanak-kanak dan busking.

Beliau berkata, bagi acara larian pula, ianya terbahagi kepada tiga kategori iaitu 5km, 10km dan 21km.
“Tahun ini kita ada kategori 21 km dan ianya sama seperti acara larian PJ Half Marathon.
“Bagi kategori hadiah pula, kita mempunyai hadiah cabutan bertuah yang lebih menarik daripada hadiah berlari. Ini kerana bagi penggemar acara larian seperti ini, mereka lebih gemar hadiah cabutan bertuah dari hadiah berlari,” katanya pada sidang media di sini, hari ini.
Sementara itu, beliau turut memaklumkan pihaknya dalam usaha untuk bekerjasama dengan UMW Toyota Malaysia untuk menawarkan hadiah berupa kereta iaitu Toyota Yaris atau Toyota Vios.
Selain itu, hadiah motosikal Yamaha Y15R atau Ysuku juga bakal dipertimbangkan dan masih dalam perancangan.
Penganjuran kali ke-5 Larian Menjunjung Kasih akan diadakan pada 8 Disember 2019 bertempat di Padang Timur Petaling Jaya dianjurkan oleh Majlis Sukan Negeri Selangor dan Master Pacer Venture.
