AirAsia dengan kerjasama Project AWARE dan Viking Scuba Tenggol telah menjalankan aktiviti pembersihan terumbu karang dan pantai di Terengganu, Malaysia bersempena dengan International Coastal Cleanup Day pada 21 September.
Seramai 40 kakitangan AirAsia (Allstars) melibatkan diri untuk mengurangkan pencemaran bawah air, sekali gus mewujudkan kesedaran yang lebih tinggi terhadap kepentingan memelihara lautan dan kesan buruk penggunaan plastik sekali guna, sebagai salah satu inisiatif serantau #AllstarsDoGood AirAsia.
Kesemua kakitangan Allstars yang merupakan penyelam skuba dari Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia dan Filipina telah membersihkan sebanyak 40kg pukat hantu dari lokasi selam di Pulau Tenggol. Mereka juga telah mengumpul sebanyak 151kg sampah di persisiran Pantai Sura di Kuala Dungun.
#AllstarsDoGood merupakan sebuah inisiatif kakitangan yang ditubuhkan oleh Jabatan People and Culture AirAsia. Ia bertujuan untuk menggalakkan kakitangan dalam menyertai aktiviti sukarelawan. Sehingga kini, sebanyak 8,712 jam kerja sukarelawan telah direkodkan dari pelbagai inistiatif #AllstarsDoGood di serantau Asean sejak tahun 2017.
Ketua Pegawai Culture Kumpulan AirAsia Attila Emam berkata, “Ini merupakan kali ketiga projek pembersihan terumbu karang dan pantai di bawah inisiatif #AllstarsDoGood diadakan selepas Pattaya dan Batangas, dan dijalankan untuk kali pertama di Malaysia. Sebagai syarikat penerbangan yang membawa ramai penumpang ke destinasi-destinasi pulau dan pantai yang cantik di seluruh rantau, kami ingin memastikan bahawa kami menjalankan usaha kami dalam mendidik komuniti tentang kepentingan menjaga destinasi-destinasi ini.
“Kami teruja untuk berkongsi bahawa ketiga-tiga lokasi selam yang kami lawati di Pulau Tenggol agak bersih. Namun, sebanyak 95% bendasing yang kami kumpul di pesisiran Pantai Sura adalah plastik sekali guna, terutamanya bungkusan makanan. Pesisiran Pantai Sura merupakan tempat istirehat popular di kalangan masyarakat Dungun dan hampir kesemua sampah dijumpai di celah batu-batu.
Bayangkan sebanyak 151kg sampah dikutip dalam masa sejam, dan masalah itu boleh diselesaikan dengan hanya membuang sampah tersebut ke tempat yang betul. Kami telah menghantar data pembersihan pantai kepada platform Ocean Conservancy, sementara data pembersihan terumbu karang telah dilaporkan dalam laman web Project AWARE,” tambahnya.

Kaedah pendidikan dan latihan menggunakan permainan atau ala-ala permainan semakin mendapat tempat dalam kalangan masyarakat. Pelbagai permainan berunsurkan pendidikan telah diperkenalkan untuk mencapai matlamat pendidikan yang fleksibel dan kendiri.
BAGAIMANAPUN, permainan ilmiah Islamik masih lagi kurang di pasaran Malaysia mahupun dunia.
Justeru, Akademi Permainan Islamik Global (Academy of Global Islamic Games, AoGIG) ditubuhkan pada 31 Januari 2017, bertujuan untuk mengetengahkan metodologi atau pedagogi latihan dan pendidikan berasaskan permainan Islamik.
Ini kerana istilah halal bukan sahaja terhad kepada produk makanan atau berasaskan bahan mentah untuk memproses makanan tetapi ruang atau skop halal begitu meluas tidak kira makanan atau minuman mahupun perkhidmatan yang disediakan.
Begitu juga dengan alat permainan yang mungkin agak janggal didengari tetapi sebenarnya di pasaran ketika ini sudah ada usaha pihak tertentu mahupun individu yang menghasilkan alat permainan dalam bentuk ilmiah dan islamik yang mendapat persijilan halal.
Melihat kepada kurangnya fokus untuk menghasilkan alat permainan berkonsepkan ilmiah dan islamik, sekumpulan penyelidik dari Institut Pengurusan dan Penyelidikan Fatwa Sedunia (INFAD), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) diketuai Timbalan Pengarahnya, Prof Madya Dr Azman Ab Rahman merangkap Ketua Pereka telah membangunkan alat permainan ilmiah dikenali Global Halal Game (GHG).
Beliau yang juga Pensyarah Kanan di Fakulti Syariah dan Undang-Undang USIM berkata, GHG diperkenalkan menggunakan konsep gamifikasi untuk meningkatkan kesedaran berkaitan halal kepada masyarakat seawal usia kanak-kanak.
“GHG adalah permainan papan ilmiah, dibangunkan secara khusus berasaskan sukatan pelajaran pendidikan Islam sekolah rendah dan sekolah menengah dan ‘Manual Prosedur Pensijilan Halal Malaysia’ bagi menerapkan konsep mendidik sambil berhibur dan interaktif dalam pendidikan halal.
Setakat ini, GIG menampilkan koleksi papan permainan seperti Global Zakat Games (GZG) pada 2017, Global Faraid Games (GFG) pada 2018 dan Global Halal Games (GHG) pada 2019.
Beliau berkata, pihaknya merancang untuk memperkenalkan lebih banyak siri permainan GIG termasuk Global UmrahHaji Games (GUG) dan Global Arabic Games (GAG) menjelang tahun depan serta sirah Islam dalam tempoh jangka panjang.
“Kami juga akan menghasilkan GIG dalam pelbagai bahasa seperti Malaysia, Inggeris, Arab dan Jawi dalam memastikan produk ini mampu dipasarkan di pelbagai negara luar pada masa akan datang,” katanya.
Katanya, GHG bukan sekadar permainan yang dihasilkan dalam bentuk kualiti yang setanding dengan alat permainan sedia ada seperti Monopoli atau Saidina tetapi amat sesuai dijadikan sebagai salah satu alat bantu mengajar di dalam kelas mahupun di luar kelas.
“Sejak GHG diperkenalkan, permainan ini mendapat sambutan dikalangan guru-guru sekolah yang menjadikannya sebagai alat bantu mengajar kerana permainan ini mudah digunakan dan bersifat interaktif.
“Permainan GHG ini juga dapat mengukuhkan kemahiran pengurusan halal dalam kalangan eksekutif dan pelajar berkaitan Manual Prosedur Pensijilan Halal Malaysia,” katanya lagi.
Selain boleh dijadikan cenderamata, GHG juga boleh digunakan sebagai salah satu kaedah untuk mengagihkan zakat menerusi pembelian secara pukal dan diagihkan kepada golongan asnaf sekali gus mengalakkan produk pendidikan sebagai satu alat untuk berzakat.
Apa itu Global Halal Game (GHG)
GHG adalah permainan ala-ala Monopoli yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kefahaman dan kesedaran berkaitan konsep halal dan Manual Prosedur Pensijilan Halal Malaysia. Permainan GHG ini juga dapat mengukuhkan kemahiran pengurusan halal dalam kalangan eksekutif dan pelajar berkaitan Manual Prosedur Pensijilan Halal Malaysia.

“GHG juga adalah transformasi dan inovasi baharu dalam meningkatkan kefahaman masyarakat dan pelajar di institusi pendidikan terhadap kepentingan halal.
“Manakala dalam konteks pendidikan, ia dapat mewujudkan konsep didik sambil berhibur dengan menggunakan permainan ilmiah GHG sebagai alat bantu mengajar dan sangat relevan dengan corak Pendidikan Abad ke-21 (PAK21) yang membentuk suasana pembelajaran aktif serta interaktif antara guru dan pelajar,” katanya.
GHG juga sesuai dijadikan bahan rujukan santai di samping menjadi bahan latihan dan alat bantu mengajar di dalam kursus-kursus berkaitan prosedur halal.
“Bagi golongan profesional dalam bidang persijilan halal Malaysia, mereka dapat mengukuhkan lagi kemahiran pengurusan halal dalam kalangan eksekutif dan pelajar berkaitan Manual Prosedur Pensijilan Halal Malaysia.
“Permainan ini secara tidak langsung melahirkan eksekutif yang profesional dan cekap dalam pengurusan pensijilan halal.
GHG mampu memperkenalkan serta mempromosikan institusi berkaitan penyelidikan dan pengurusan halal Malaysia di persada dunia seperti institusi-institusi pengajian tinggi dan COE (Ihram), Pusat Latihan Halal (Risda, HDC, MTDC), Badan-badan Autoriti (Jakim, Main, PPIM) dan Pengusaha Produk Halal.
Selain itu, GHG juga mampu menjadi salah satu medium alat bantu mengajar bagi subjek dan topik pensijilan halal di institusi pendidikan negara dan global termasuk sebagai satu kaedah latihan kepada eksekutif halal, pegawai-pegawai agama Islam dan masyarakat berkaitan prosedur pensijilan halal di Malaysia secara menyeluruh.

Menurutnya, syarikat yakin produk terbabit mampu menarik perhatian orang ramai kerana ia memberi kefahaman dan pendidikan mengenai aspek penting dalam Islam secara santai dan menyeronokkan.
“Permainan ini juga boleh dijadikan alat bantu mengajar bagi guru-guru di sekolah dan sesuai bukan sahaja untuk pelajar sekolah malah golongan dewasa yang ingin menimba pengetahuan seperti zakat, halal dan faraid.

Ia melibatkan proses komprehensif dengan kerjasama rakan penyelidikan global Ipsos, sebuah agensi penyelidikan global terkemuka yang terdiri daripada lebih 16,000 kakitangan di 88 negara.
Sejumlah 23 kategori dipertandingkan pada tahun ini, menerusi responden dari seluruh Malaysia memberikan pandangan dan pilihan tentang kesedaran, keinginan, kepercayaan dan sokongan terhadap jenama-jenama dalam pelbagai kategori.
Perodua telah meraih Emas dalam kategori Automotif di Majlis Anugerah Jenama Putra 2019 yang berprestij, menjadikannya tahun ketiga berturut-turut pengeluar kenderaan tersebut dinamakan sebagai salah satu jenama automotif kegemaran Malaysia.
Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Perodua, Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad berkata, pihaknya berasa rendah diri dengan pengiktirafan rakyat Malaysia terhadap jenama
itu.
“Pengiktirafan ini memotivasikan dan menggalakkan kami untuk bekerja lebih
keras seiring dengan objektif utama kami, iaitu People First, yang mengutamakan
keperluan dan kehendak rakyat Malaysia,” katanya.
Menerima anugerah bagi pihak Perodua pada malam itu adalah Naib-Presiden
Perodua Auto Corporation Sdn Bhd Datuk Ahmad Suhaimi Hashim.
Perodua telah memenangi anugerah dalam sembilan daripada 10 tahun anugerah
tersebut diadakan. Jenama tersebut memenangi Emas pertamanya pada 2017 dan
Emas keduanya pada 2018.
“Perodua jauh lebih daripada sekadar sebuah syarikat kenderaan. Daripada pelbagai program dianjurkan merangkumi keselamatan, kesihatan, alam sekitar, pendidikan, belia, sukan dan aktiviti amal, kepada inisiatif-inisiatif kepuasan pelanggan serta pembangunan modal insan, para pembekal dan pengedar, kami ingin menjadi jenama yang mampu memberi kesan positif dan nyata kepada rakyat Malaysia,” katanya lagi.
Anugerah Jenama Putra mengiktiraf jenama-jenama kegemaran Malaysia berdasarkan wawancara awam, melibatkan lebih 8,000 responden unik tahun ini.
Dianjurkan oleh Persatuan Ejen Pengiklanan Bertauliah Malaysia (4As), ia merupakan satu-satunya anugerah jenama di negara ini yang diperakui oleh Perbadanan Pembangunan Perdagangan Luar Malaysia (MATRADE).
Acara ini disokong oleh Persatuan Digital Malaysia, Persatuan Pengiklan Malaysia dan Persatuan Pakar Media.

Honda Malaysia celebrates its 900,000th sales unit achievement with a fun-filled, two-day extravaganza for all Malaysians.
One of the key highlights of the day was the handover ceremony of the nine Honda models to e winners. In the run-up to the Grand Finale, Honda Malaysia has announced the first two winners of the giveaway who won a Civic and HR-V.
The winners of the remaining seven Honda models were announced at the “Road to 900,000th Unit Milestone Campaign” Grand Finale.

Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Toichi Ishiyama said, “We

We are very happy to reach such a significant milestone of 900,000th sales unit since our establishment in 2002 and we want to celebrate it with all Malaysians.”
“This campaign is made extra special as it is the first time Honda Malaysia collaborated with popular homegrown brands – Astro Radio, Tealive and unifi – to give away the nine cars.
Throughout the campaign period, we received encouraging feedback and active participation from Malaysians. Over 122,000 participations were received in two months! I would like to thank all Malaysians for their support and participation in this campaign as well as the nationwide tour,” added Ishiyama.
The achievement of 900,000th sales unit adds another notch to the numerous milestones that Honda Malaysia has chalked up over the years. Since Honda Malaysia rolled out the first Completely Knock-Down (CKD) model, the CR-V in 2003, the company has charted a
remarkable journey in the Malaysian market.
The CKD models have contributed the most to Honda Malaysia’s total sales by 95% and 5% is from Completely Built-Up (CBU) models.
Overall, the City contributed the highest at 37%, followed by Civic at 15% and CR-V at 11% since the company’s establishment. Honda Malaysia also saw sales grow rapidly and working very hard to go beyond, and continue to exceed customer expectation.
In 2013, the company is dedicated to expanding its dealers network nationwide for customers’ convenience. To-date, Honda Malaysia has 98 dealerships available in every states and major towns in Malaysia that are striving to provide high-quality services to customers.
Supported by strong demand, Honda Malaysia established the No.2 Production Line in its
Pegoh plant in 2014 to increase local assembly capacity.
Currently Honda Malaysia assembles ten key models; namely Jazz, Jazz Hybrid, City, City Hybrid, Civic, BR-V, HR-V, HR-V Hybrid, CR-V and Accord. From the sales record for January to August 2019, the top three selling models are the City with 33%, followed by the HR-V and CR-V with 18% and 14% contribution respectively.
Drawing on Honda’s commitment to lead the advancement of mobility, Honda Malaysia
aspires to set higher benchmark in the local automotive industry.
Aligned with this, the company introduced the three pillars of Honda’s Next Generation Advanced Technology in Malaysia: Honda SENSING, Turbocharged and Sport Hybrid i-DCD which are well accepted in the Malaysian market.
The “Road to 900,000th Unit Milestone Campaign” Grand Finale in Bukit Jalil National Stadium car park on 28 and 29 September 2019 is an avenue where the visitors will get to
see the preview of the soon-to-be launched, sporty and stylish New Civic, as well as other
Honda models.
Malaysians are also invited to join fun activities for all, from adult to children such as
380 feet-long Giant Water Slide for thrill seekers, picturesque Insta-Luminous displays,
immersive Virtual Reality (VR) Games and scrumptious food from the mini food fair.
Visitors can also experience Honda’s Advanced Technology through interactive game activities such as Sport Hybrid i-DCD X-ray Scanner as well as Sport Hybrid i-DCD and VTEC Turbocharged Game Tower.
