Second Phase “Back on Track” Programme Introduced By Ferrari

The tests will be available from 9 June for family members of Ferrari employees and suppliers operating within the company.

The “Back on Track” programme, introduced by Ferrari to protect the health of its people when production resumes, has now entered its second phase focusing on the families of employees and suppliers operating in-house.

In a tensile structure of approximately 1,000 m2 specially created at the Fiorano Circuit, doctors and health workers will welcome and give serological tests to thousands of family members living with the approximately 4,000 employees.

The tests, which are voluntary, provide an initial picture of the state of health. If further investigations are needed, a pharyngeal swab can be given.

This takes just a few minutes and will be performed in a dedicated area of the facility, without the person concerned having to leave their car.

With the second step of the project, involving about 18,000 people, diagnostic activities will be extended to the entire “Ferrari Community”.

The results of the test, which will be carried out by the Lifebrain and PGM healthcare establishments, under the medical direction of Dr Maurilio Missere, will be treated with total confidentiality.

People will receive the results within about three days and will be able to undergo further tests periodically.

The information and aggregated data of the second phase, as well as of the entire “Back on Track” programme, will be shared with Emilia-Romagna Region to provide the Health Authorities with information on best practices for health protection.

Perodua Daftar 7,886 Kenderaan Pada Mei Di Sebalik COVID-19

Perodua mencatat jualan 7,886 kenderaan pada Mei 2020, membawa jumlah jualan setakat tahun ini (YTD) kepada 52,920 unit.

Berdasarkan jumlah keseluruhan industri YTD yang dianggarkan 129,401 unit, Perodua menguasai 41% bahagian pasaran YTD.

“Situasi COVID-19 yang masih berlangsung ini telah memberi kesan yang ketara terhadap jualan kenderaan di Malaysia selama dua bulan.

Namun kami bersyukur kerana dalam tempoh hanya tiga minggu sejak kami kembali beroperasi di seluruh negara, kami berjaya mendekati angka jualan Mac kami pra-Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP),” kata Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Perodua, Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

Jualan Mei terdiri daripada 2,612 (Myvi), 2,028 (Axia), 1,820 (Bezza), 950 (Aruz) dan 476 (Alza). Perodua berjaya menjual 8,601 kenderaan dalam bulan Mac sebelum PKP berkuat kuasa pada 18 Mac.

Q1 2020: Over 200k Ransomware Attempts Blocked Against SMBs In SEA

Kaspersky shares how companies can seal their data safe from this costly threat

Three years after the headline-grabbing Wannacry ransomware wreaked havoc thousands of IT systems around the globe, data from Kaspersky for Southeast Asia (SEA) prove the threat is still present particularly against small and medium businesses (SMBs) in the region.

Ransomware is a type of cyberware that is designed to extort money from an individual or a company.

Often, ransomware will demand a payment in order to undo changes that the Trojan has made to the victim’s computer. These changes can include encrypting data that is stored on the victim’s disk – so the victim can no longer access the information, and blocking normal access to the victim’s system.

For the first three months of 2020, a total of 269,204 ransomware attempts were foiled by global cybersecurity company’s solutions for businesses with 20-250 employees in the region.

This is based on the detection verdicts of Kaspersky products received from users who consented to provide statistical data.

“Overall, we have observed a significant decline in ransomware attacks we are blocking against SMBs in SEA. The first quarter numbers are 69% lower compared with the same period in 2019, which is definitely a good sign.

However, companies should never be complacent. Cybercriminals may show less activity but their precision has undoubtedly been improved and our telemetry showed they are more focused on targeting businesses and organisations now,” comments Yeo Siang Tiong, General Manager for Southeast Asia at Kaspersky.

Kaspersky Ransomware

To install the ransomware into a victim’s system, cybercriminals usually use a phishing email, a website infected with a malicious program, or un-updated software.

Once the Trojan has been installed, it will either encrypt information that’s stored on the victim’s computer or block the computer from running normally – while also leaving a ransom message that demands the payment of a fee, in order to decrypt the files or restore the system.

In most cases, the ransom message will appear when the user restarts their computer after the infection has taken effect.

Per country statistics during the first quarter of 2020 showed all territories in Southeast Asia logged a decrease in ransomware detected compared with the same period last year.

However, globally, one-in-three of ransomware blocked by Kaspersky in 2019 was targeted towards corporate users. This shows that cybercriminals are increasingly targeting businesses and enterprises as opposed to individual users.

Indonesia remains among the top 10 countries in terms of share of SMB users almost infected with this threat.

The five nations with the highest percent of attempts in Q1 2020 include the Russian Federation, Brazil, China, Bangladesh, and Egypt. Wannacry remains the most popular ransomware globally.

“We can safely say that the companies are now highly aware of this danger after the Wannacry incident three years ago. The current pandemic situation which forced employees to work remotely, however, blur the line between enterprise and personal security, therefore increasing the surface of attack cybercriminals can exploit.

Pada masa yang sama, beliau turut dilantik sebagai Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Proton Edar Sdn Bhd (PESB), anak syarikat milik penuh Proton yang menguruskan pengedaran kereta-kereta Proton dan menyediakan perkhidmatan jualan dan selepas jualan kepada pelanggan, berkuatkuasa 1 Jun 2020.

Setelah hampir tiga dekad berkecimpung di dalam sektor automotif, Roslan mempunyai pengalaman dan pengetahuan yang luas berkaitan landskap automotif di Malaysia.

Jawatan yang pernah dipegang oleh beliau termasuklah di bahagian kewangan, operasi dan jualan. Sebelum menyertai Proto, pemegang Ijazah Kewangan & Perakaunan dari University of Brighton, United Kingdom ini memantau operasi di DRB-HICOM Defense Technologies Sdn Bhd (DEFTECH).

Pelantikan ini akan mengukuhkan lagi kedudukan Proton bagi mencapai matlamat dan objektif jangka panjang syarikat.

“Syarikat amat mengalu-alukan kehadiran beliau untuk menjadi sebahagian daripada Proton dan kami mengharapkan agar beliau dapat membantu meningkatkan prestasi Proton pada waktu yang mencabar ini,” kata Dr Li Chunrong, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif, Proton.
