Groupe PSA sold 2,181,800 vehicles worldwide, a new all-time record and a 38.1% growth compared with the first half of 2017
GROUPE PSA’s SUV offensive with 13 models launched worldwide by the five brands – Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel and Vauxhall – drove the Group’s robust sales momentum in the first half of 2018.
At more than 609,300 units, SUV sales accounted for nearly 28% of the Group’s sales. The success of these models has made Groupe PSA at the end of May, number two in this segment in Europe, with a market share of 16.9%, and number one in the B-SUV segment.
Peugeot is the leading brand in the SUV segment in Europe, selling more than 339,200 SUVs worldwide (up 26%) in the first half of 2018. Since the beginning of the year, Peugeot confirms the upward trend of the PEUGEOT 3008 SUV, with 144,000 units sold (up 37%); it has also enjoyed strong demand for the new PEUGEOT 5008, which has logged 58,900 unit sales.
The Citroën SUV offensive launched last autumn is being driven by the C3 Aircross in Europe and the C5 Aircross in China, which together represented nearly 80,000 units sold in the first half of 2018, for a total of 135,000 since their launch. The launch of the C4 Aircross in China and the C5 Aircross in Europe in the second half will allow Citroën to accelerate its offensive.
Launched worldwide in February 2018, the DS 7 CROSSBACK, first DS of the second generation is key to growth at DS Automobiles, which came up to +35% in the second quarter. Two out of three customers choose the top-of-the-line versions, and while the DS 7 CROSSBACK offers premium equipment from the entry level, every second customer chooses the DS CONNECTED PILOT option, which opens the way to level 2 autonomous driving.
The Opel and Vauxhall brands are also conducting a major product offensive in the SUV segment with the X-family, which includes the Crossland X, Mokka X, and Grandland X. This represents 167,200 sales in the first half of 2018 for the two brands, which remain also focused on improving profitability in line with the PACE! strategic plan.
Groupe PSA sets a new record for LCV sales, with 289,500 units sold, up 32.8% Excluding Opel/Vauxhall, the increase was 8.3%.
Following the renewal of compact vans in 2016, the Group will take a fresh step in the upgrade of its LCV line-up in the second half with the release of a new generation of B-LCV (PEUGEOT Partner, CITROËN Berlingo Van and OPEL/VAUXHALL Combo).
In Europe, already leading the market with more than one in four sales to its name, Groupe PSA is also the leader at the end of May in the sub segments of B-LCV with market shares of 35.2%, and in medium van with market shares of 26.2%.
The Group’s LCV offensive continued outside Europe. In Eurasia, sales were up 9%, including local production of the new PEUGEOT Expert and CITROËN Jumpy introduced in first-half 2018. In Latin America, the updated product and service offering fed into volume growth of 27.8%.
Europe growth and performance
In Europe, consolidated sales totalled 1,673,700 units, up 61.5%, of which 550,900 Opel and Vauxhall vehicles. The Group’s market share expanded by 6 points to 17.2%.
For Peugeot-Citroën-DS Automobiles alone, the Group’s market share is growing in its main markets: France (up 0.3 points), Spain (up 0.8 points), Italy (up 1.1 points), United Kingdom (up 0.2 points) and Germany (up 0.2 points). Its performance was further enhanced by the consolidation of Opel/Vauxhall, particularly in Germany (market share of 10.4%) and the United Kingdom (14.8%).
Peugeot has made the most progress of all the brands since the beginning of the year. The PEUGEOT 2008 and PEUGEOT 3008 ended in May in second and third place in their respective segments, and the new PEUGEOT 508 has been very well received, with more than 2,000 orders placed since its launch, including 1,000 for the First Edition version, which can only be ordered online.
Citroën’s sales grew by 7.4%, reaching a seven-year high in Europe. This performance allowed it to gain market share, in particular thanks to the C3, which now ranks in the top 5 in its segment, the New C4 Cactus launched in March (up 35% in the second quarter) and the new C3 Aircross SUV (with more than 90,000 orders in Europe since its launch in October).
The DS brand grew by 25.1%, with accelerated growth of 43% in the second quarter. In its biggest market, France, DS 7 CROSSBACK has been the leader in its category in the C-SUV premium market for three consecutive months. With 110 sales outlets opened over the last six months in Europe, bringing the total to 260 dedicated sites, the development of the DS network is intensifying.
Opel/Vauxhall is continuing its product offensive in Europe, driven by the X-Family, and is the leading brand in the B-SUV segment with 122,600 units Mokka X & Crossland X sold. After launching the sporty Insignia GSi, the brand will also release a GSi version of the Corsa in the second half. The new Combo Life & Cargo models will also contribute to the new momentum.
Middle East & Africa: regional deployment and continuation of the Group’s product offensive
In a shifting regional environment, the Group’s sales amounted to 226,1003 units, down 18.6% due to the fact that sales of vehicles produced in Iran have not been included in consolidated global sales since 1 May.
In line with the Group’s decision to initiate the process of suspending its operations in Iran, vehicles manufactured in Iran are no longer included in consolidated global sales, as of 1 May 2018.
The Peugeot brand’s market share continued to grow in Tunisia, in Turkey, in Egypt and remains market leader in France’s overseas departments.
Groupe PSA has pursued its strategic plan to expand its manufacturing base with the signing last March of a joint venture agreement to start up a Peugeot and Opel assembly plant in Walvis Bay, Namibia, and begin assembly of the Peugeot Pick-up in Tunisia in September 2018.
The Group is expanding its commercial footprint, particularly in Egypt, where it has signed a new import agreement with the Mansour Group and Scope Investment for the distribution of Peugeot products. In South Africa, Lebanon, Tunisia and Morocco, the Group selected distributing partners for Opel.
Lastly, Groupe PSA is pursuing its product offensive in the region, in particular with the ramp-up of the SUV range: CITROËN C3 Aircross, OPEL Crossland X and Grandland X, DS 7 CROSSBACK and PEUGEOT 3008, which is among the top three sellers in its segment in France’s overseas departments and Turkey.
The DS brand is continuing to build its network, and totals now 12 DS Stores and DS Salons in the region.
China & South East Asia: continued sales recovery
With sales of 163,000 vehicles in China & South East Asia, up 6.9%, the Group has seen the first signs of a sales recovery. Citroën was the biggest contributor to the improvement, with sales up 50.5%, thanks to its range of sedans and the local launch of the C5 Aircross SUV last September.
The volume mix of the PEUGEOT 3008/4008/5008 SUV family is also improving, representing 40% of the brand’s total sales volumes.
DS Automobiles sales are stable in the second quarter of 2018. In China, the DS 7 CROSSBACK was launched at the Beijing Motor Show in late April 2018.
During the first half, the Group made significant progress in strengthening its operations in South East Asia with the creation of a joint venture with Naza Corporation Holdings (Malaysia). The Group has sold over 4,900 vehicles in ASEAN area in the first half of this year. The acceleration in this part of the region is now noticeable.
Latin America: growth despite headwinds
Groupe PSA made 98,000 sales in Latin America, an increase of 1.7%, leaving its market share stable at 3.9%. This growth has been achieved despite a significant decline in the Argentinian market (down 18% in June vs 2017), where the Group’s market share is greatest.
In Argentina, DS Automobiles consolidated its fourth place position in the premium market thanks to the DS 3, the leading vehicle in its class for the fifth consecutive year.
Volume growth was driven by the LCV (up 27.8%) and SUV (PEUGEOT 3008 and 5008) offensives.
Coming launches in the region include the CITROËN C4 Cactus (made in Brazil) and the DS 7 CROSSBACK, as well as the OPEL Crossland X in Chile.
India-Pacific: 13,300 cars sold, up 25,1%
Growth sales was a strong 25% in Japan and reached a significant 18% in South Korea, whilst the restart in Australia and New Zealand showed encouraging progress.
The PEUGEOT 3008 and 5008 were successful throughout the region, as was the Citroën C3 in Japan.
Eurasia: sales up 18.1%
The Group made headway in the both region’s major markets: Russia (up 19%) and Ukraine (up 32%), with a total of 7,700 units sold.
Its growth was driven by good momentum for the PEUGEOT 3008, the C4 Sedan and the LCV market, with the new PEUGEOT Expert/CITROEN Jumpy and PEUGEOT Traveller/CITROEN SpaceTourer models manufactured in Kaluga. LCV sales increased by 9% in the region as a whole.

This result was driven by sales at a seven-year high in Europe, allowing us to gain market share in both passenger cars and LCVs, and a rebound of more than 50% in China. And this trend will continue in the second half with the launch of the new Berlingo and C4 Aircross SUVs in China and the C5 Aircross in Europe !”

Geely Holding rises 76 places to 267th in 2018 Fortune Global 500. Geely Holding listed on Fortune Global 500 for seventh consecutive year.
ZHEJIANG Geely Holding Group (Geely Holding), China’s largest privately-owned automotive technology company, rose 76 places in the 2018 Fortune Global 500 to 267th after revenues last year reached US$41.1 billion.
The ranking marks the seventh consecutive year that the Group has featured in the Fortune Global 500. Geely Holding marked its latest Fortune 500 ranking by issuing the following summary of its progress from the past year.
Geely Fortune 500
Geely Holding achieved extremely strong results in 2017 due to record sales at the Group’s core subsidiaries: Geely Auto of China and Volvo Cars, the iconic Swedish automotive group. Geely Auto sold more than 1.24 million vehicles in 2017, a 63% increase year-on-year, while unit sales at Volvo rose 7% to 571,577 vehicles.
During the first half of 2018, Geely Holding has continued to grow strongly. In the six months to June 30, Geely Auto sales reached 766,630 vehicles, a 45% YoY increase. Volvo Cars saw significant growth on the back of its award-winning XC40, XC60 and XC90 models with sales reaching 317,639 vehicles, a 14.4% YoY increase.
Unit sales in China, Volvo’s largest single market grew by 18.4% to 61,480 vehicles. And this year has seen Volvo awarded several prestigious accolades including European Car of Year for their new XC40, World Car of the Year for their New XC60.
Håkan Samuelsson, President and CEO of Volvo Cars, was named World Car Person of the Year in 2018 by the World Car of the Year Jury.
Geely Showroom
Among other Geely Holding operations, the newly-introduced LYNK & CO brand, created for a new generation of automotive consumers in urban regions, has posted strong results since launching in December 2017 with total sales for the first half year reaching 46,252 units. LYNK & CO vehicles are based upon the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) jointly developed by Volvo Cars and Geely Auto to underpin a new generation of compact vehicles.
In the past year, Geely Holding has also completed several acquisitions which has expanded the Group’s global presence as part of its transformation from traditional automaker to a technology-driven mobility services group.
In the last year, the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group group completed the acquisition of Terrafugia, the US flying car company, as well as a 51% controlling stake in Lotus, the iconic British sports car brand, and 49.9% stake of PROTON, the Malaysian car maker.
The Group also made strategic investments in Saxo Bank of Denmark, in AB Volvo, the Swedish commercial vehicles group, and became the largest shareholder in Daimler AG, the German automotive group.
Geely Holding’s growth in smart mobility has gained traction in the past year with the rapid expansion of CAOCAO, its new energy ride-hailing platform. The automotive group in China to enter the ride-hailing market after CAOCAO received its service license in early 2017. In just over a year, CAOCAO has expanded to 25 cities with more than 26,000 new energy vehicles in operation.
Geely Holding reaffirmed its technology credentials with a foray into high-speed rail WiFi through a new joint-venture with Tencent and China Railway, forming part of its transition away from pure manufacturing into intelligent mobility services.
During the past year, the Group increased its presence in new energy systems and technologies. LEVC, the Group’s taxi and commercial vehicles subsidiary, launched its electrified range-extended taxi, the E-City TX. Volvo Cars announced its commitment to fully electrify its vehicle range starting from 2019. Volvo’s performance car division, Polestar became a standalone fully electrified performance car brand with a new state-of-the-art factory being built in Chengdu.
In the first half of this year, Geely Auto unveiled its new flagship hybrid sedan, the Bo Rui GE. It also released several new energy models with ranges up to 450km on a single charge, and made a pledge that by 2020, it will offer at least 30 new energy models.

BMW Group Malaysia memperkenalkan BMW Concept X7 iPerformance, sebuah ikon baharu yang mencontohi pendefinisian BMW mengenai mobiliti bervisi dan kemewahan progresif, ia diperkenalkan julung kalinya bukan sahaja di Malaysia, malah juga di rantau Asia Tenggara.
Pengarah Urusan merangkap Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif BMW Group Malaysia, Harald Hoelzl berkata, “Kemewahan kini mempunyai makna yang baharu. Di BMW, kami memahaminya sebagai keupayaan mendedikasikan masa untuk anda, untuk orang lain, dan masa untuk perkara-perkara yang lain.
“Kemewahan merupakan keupayaan untuk mendefinisikan sebuah pengalaman. Kemewahan aras baharu ini pertama kalinya diperkenalkan di BMW Luxury Excellence Pavilion melalui BMW Concept 8 Series pada awal tahun ini. Kini, kami berbesar hati untuk mengongsi visi kemewahan progresif ini sekali lagi melalui BMW Concept X7 iPerformance.”
BMW Concept X7 iPerformance ini dialu-alukan melalui kejayaan yang dilakar oleh BMW Group Malaysia sepanjang tempoh 6 bulan yang pertama pada tahun 2018.
Dengan penyerahan melebihi 6,400 unit kenderaan kepada pemilik baharu BMW, MINI dan BMW Motorrad, ia mencatatkan peningkatan yang memberangsangkan, iaitu sebanyak 11% berbanding tempoh yang sama pada tahun lepas.
BMW melakarkan peningkatan sebanyak 11% dengan penyerahan melebihi 5,300 unit kereta kepada pemilik BMW yang baharu dalam tempoh 6 bulan yang pertama pada tahun 2018 berbanding tempoh yang sama pada tahun lepas.
MINI juga mencatat peningkatan yang signifikan, iaitu sebanyak 18% dengan penyerahan melebihi 550 unit kenderaan MINI. BMW Motorrad juga telah menikmati peningkatan sebanyak 8% dengan melebihi 540 pemilik baru.
Kejayaan di Malaysia sejajar dengan kejayaan BMW Group di seluruh dunia dimana pertumbuhan jualan suku dicapai kali ke-35 berturut-turut dengan penyerahan setengah tahun pertama yang terbaik dengan sejumlah 1,242,507 kenderaan BMW, MINI dan Rolls-Royce yang dihantar kepada pelanggan.
Di samping itu, penyerahan kenderaan elektrik BMW dan MINI dalam tempoh 6 bulan yang pertama pada tahun 2018 berjumlah 60,660 unit kenderaan. Ini mengesahkan kedudukan BMW Group sebagai pembekal global terkemuka bagi segmen mobiliti elektrik yang premium.
Secara domestik, portfolio kenderaan Plug-In Hybrid BMW Group Malaysia kini telah melakar lebih daripada separuh berbanding keseluruhan unit kenderaan yang dijual, iaitu pada tahap 56% dengan penyerahan yang melebihi 3,200 unit kenderaan. Ia akan membentuk mobiliti masa hadapan di Malaysia, bermula dari segmen eksekutif sehinggalah ke segmen kenderaan mewah dengan BMW 7 Series.
“Pendekatan progresif yang diambil terhadap konsep kemewahan yang diperkenalkan ini berkait rapat dengan nombor 7 dalam skema model kenderaan BMW. Kenderaan salun mewah BMW 7 Series untuk sekian lama telah menawarkan pengalaman pemanduan yang eksklusif sejak lebih dari 40 tahun.
“Inovasi yang luar biasa, ciri-ciri keselesaan yang tiada tandingannya serta reka bentuk kontemporari dan perihal dinamik kenderaan ini membentuk karakternya yang progresif dalam famili kenderaan mewah BMW yang terkini.
“BMW Concept X7 iPerformance membawa famili ini ke aras yang lebih tinggi melalui pengenalan DNA Kenderaan BMW yang bercirikan Sports Activity ke segmen kenderaan mewah,” ujar Harald.
Kenderaan Konsep ini merupakan sebuah demonstrasi bagi pendekatan terbaharu BMW Group terhadap segmen kenderaan mewah yang menterjemahkan pemahaman moden jenama ini tentang mobiliti bervisi dan kemewahan progresif.
BMW Concept X7 iPerforrmance mencabar pembatasan dan melambangkan pemahaman baharu terhadap konsep “kemewahan” melalui rupa paras luarannya yang menawan dan terdiri daripada garisan reka bentuk yang terfokus.
Ia merupakan kesinambungan terhadap saiz yang sempurna, ruangan dalaman bagi 6 individu yang di reka suai dengan ciri-ciri asas: bentuk yang elementari, material bertaraf tinggi dan sistem maklumat hibur (infotainment) canggih yang dilengkapi dengan kelebihan keterhubungan.
Lencana ‘iPerformance’ pula melambangkan kehadiran teknologi BMW eDrive yang mengagumkan, ia digandingkan dengan enjin petrol BMW TwinPower Turbo untuk menghasilkan powertrain plug-in hybrid yang sangat efisien dan dinamik. BMW Concept X7 iPerformance
Status BMW Concept X7 iPerformance sebagai sebuah Kenderaan Sports Activity BMW (SAV) berkelas mewah jelas terserlah. Bahasa dan lenggok rekaan BMW SAV ini disemai pada bahagian luaran kenderaan tersebut melalui penggunaan bentuk dan garisan yang teliti, ditambah dengan ciri-ciri kehalusan dan kelincahan tinggi yang sejajar dengan saiz dan keseimbangan kereta tersebut.
Ciri-ciri ini menonjolkan pengalaman eksklusif yang boleh dirasai dari dalam kenderaan tersebut ke dunia luar. Keseimbangan vertikal yang jelas dengan jarak kelegaan tanah (ground clearance) yang lebih tinggi menepati BMW Concept X7 iPerformance sebagai sebuah model kenderaan BMW X.
Famili Baharu BMW X.
Ciri utama yang terdapat di bahagian hadapan kereta ini ialah gril kidney vertikalnya yang menonjol, ia melambangkan satu-satunya jenama kenderaan premium yang unik, iaitu BMW. Bingkai gril serta bar vertikal yang digunakan merupakan single-piece dan terdiri daripada reka bentuk yang padu.
Gril yang menawan dan serokan udaranya membuahkan keterampilan visual yang gah, dengan gilapan dari setiap segi kenderaan tersebut serta lapisan permukaan matte menonjolkan kontras yang memberi nuansa kepada bahasa reka bentuk yang mengagumkan ini.
Bahagian atas lampu hadapan berkembar yang langsing dan memanjang pada kenderaan ini didatangkan dengan pencahayaan laser BMW yang bersambung pada gril kidney. Pencahayaan signatur X berwarna biru yang dipancarkan oleh laser BMW ini menonjolkan keyakinan BMW Concept X7 iPerformance yang mewakili famili BMW SAV.
Satu bar pada gril kidney diunjurkan menjangkaui kelebaran apron hadapan yang terletak di paras yang lebih rendah, sebelum dinaikkan secara vertikal untuk membingkaikan ruang pemasukan udara luaran pada bahagian atas.
Ciri jarak kelegaan tanah mana-mana model kenderaan BMW X serta garisan tetapan tinggi di bahagian kiri dan kanan kenderaan seumpamanya juga memberikan kenderaan ini penampilan atletik, diserlahkan lagi oleh garisan bahu yang memanjang lalu membuahkan kefizikalan kenderaan ini yang tampak beralun.
Garisan bahu kenderaan ini memisahkan badan kereta tersebut ke bahagian berkaca (menampakkan ruangan dalaman kenderaan ini yang luas) dan struktur logam yang utuh. Lengkungan roda yang membulat – yang pertama bagi siri BMW X – menonjolkan estetika yang penuh sofistikasi pada kedua-dua sisi kenderaan ini.
Permukaan kenderaan tersebut lebih menjadi lebih kukuh dan padu semakin kita menganjak ke bahagian belakang kenderaan ini, lantas memberikan jentera ini dinamisme yang samar apabila dilihat dari sisi.
Strip krom yang ketara pada ambang pintu (door sills) memberikan penekanan terhadap penampilan garisan bahu kereta ini yang memanjang dan diunjurkan serta permukaan yang penuh sofistikasi di bahagian bawah.
Sama seperti elemen trim yang terdapat pada bahagian hadapan kenderaan ini, strip krom yang terletak di kedua-dua sisi kenderaan tersebut juga membingkaikan Air Breathers dengan penggayaan vertikal, sebelum diunjurkan dengan lurus ke bahagian belakang.
Bahagian luaran kenderaan ini yang menampilkan warna eksklusif metalik Manhattan menyebatikan permukaan dan bentuk kenderaan ini dalam warna gangsa (olive-bronze) gelap lalu menonjolkan penggayaan yang gah pada bahagian sisi kenderaan ini dengan ciri sofistikasi.
Penampilan bahagian belakang kenderaan ini menterjemahkan keluasan ruangan kenderaan tersebut dengan sebaiknya. Bibir aero (aero lips) vertikal serta under guard yang dipadankan dengan warna badan kenderaan ini membentuk sebuah bingkai yang menarik pada bahagian belakang.
Siluetnya pula didatangkan dengan lampu belakang yang langsing dengan bentuk L tiga dimensinya, dan dihubungkan dengan bar krom yang menawan, lalu memberikan jentera ini sebuah penampilan yang teknikal dan berkualiti tinggi pada bahagian belakang.
Di antara lengkungan roda kenderaan ini, apron belakang dengan pembuka pintu but yang praktikal menyediakan sebuah platform yang kukuh pada struktur bahagian belakang kereta tersebut. Kereta ini juga hadir tanpa sebarang hiasan pada ekor ekzosnya (tailpipe) dan secara tidak langsung dikaitkan dengan identiti plug-in hybrid jentera BMW Concept X7 iPerformance ini.
Tambahan lagi, apron belakang dengan pembuka pintu but yang praktikal membentuk struktur belakang kenderaan ini dengan estetika yang kukuh.

Keluasan ruangan dalaman BMW Concept X7 iPerformance menterjemahkan keselesaan superlatif dengan ambien yang eksklusif dan penuh sofistikasi. Selain itu, bumbung panoramik kenderaan ini yang luas juga memberikan lebih banyak ruang vertikal bagi pemandu dan penumpang kenderaan ini.
Enam tempat duduk luas yang diseimbangkan di dalam kenderaan ini disusun melalui tiga barisan, empat daripada kesemua tempat duduk tersebut mempunyai reka bentuk individual yang eksklusif.
Barisan tempat duduk kedua memberikan akses yang mudah ke barisan tempat duduk ketiga, dan bes tempat duduk ini yang renceng juga memberikan ruang letak kaki yang lebih luas bagi penumpang di tempat duduk belakang.
Bumbung panoramik berkaca memenuhi kabin kereta ini dengan ruangan yang luas dan berudara, melalui pencantuman antara bumbung panoramik dan badan kenderaan ini yang mengunjur ke bahagian belakang barisan tempat duduk belakang dalam struktur berbentuk Y. Ini bermakna penumpang di barisan tempat duduk tengah dapat merasai sensasi kebebasan dan keluasan sama seperti di tempat duduk hadapan.
Kulit gangsa (Olive-Bronze) gelap – dengan pigmentasi emas halus – yang menyelaputi bolster tempat duduk kenderaan ini membawa udara keeksklusifan dengan ketelitian. Material kulit berwarna putih (Smoke White) yang disulam pada permukaan tempat duduk yang selebihnya pula memberikan kontras yang menarik.
Setiap tempat duduk yang berbentuk kelompang pada bahagian belakang dirapikan dengan sulaman material kulit dan digunakan untuk menonjolkan ambien kontemporari dan bertaraf tinggi.
Garisan bahu berwarna gelap yang diunjurkan dari bahagian bawah tingkap melengkapi horizon yang berterusan sepanjang ruang kabin kenderaan ini, ia mewujudkan ketenangan yang menyegarkan ke ruangan dalaman kenderaan tersebut.
Penggunaan selektif open-pore ash dalam warna gelap (dark-stained), serta kemasan matte memberikan penyudah kepada pengalaman material natural yang anda boleh rasai. Elemen aluminium jenis matte dan yang digilap telah digunakan untuk menambah keanggunan kenderaan tersebut. Keluasan serba mewah yang boleh dialami dari kesemua tempat duduk dibangkitkan lagi secara samar oleh uraian pencahayaan laser pada permukaan bumbung dan ambien dinamik serta pencahayaan kontur.
Maklumat hiburan yang diperibadikan melalui integrasi yang mudah dari dunia digital pemilik ke kereta tersebut. Bahasa reka bentuk BMW terbaharu, yang menampilkan permukaan yang luas dan sisian yang kemas, menampilkan panel instrumen yang memfokuskan ciri-ciri asas sahaja, juga estetika moden.
Skrin kluster instrumen bersaiz 12.3 inci dan paparan informasi skrin sentuh sentral terletak berhampiran satu sama lain untuk membolehkan pemaparan canggih yang berterusan. Konsep operasi yang terbaharu membolehkan kedua-dua paparan tersebut digunakan secara interaktif.
Pada bahagian bawah instrumen ini, iaitu di konsol pusat (centre console) dan tindanan kefungsian pusat (centre stack), pengelompokan kefungsian melalui kemasan permukaan yang rapi menampilkan pendekatan minimalis. Kaca kristal dengan pencahayaan latar (backlit) separa yang berwarna gelap keperakan (Silver Night) mengunjurkan sofistikasi terhadap elemen yang lain seperti tuil pemilih (selector lever), Pengawal iDrive (iDrive Controller) dan butang multifungsi yang terletak di stereng.
Penawaran maklumat hibur yang tercanggih juga boleh diakses dengan mudah oleh penumpang di tempat duduk barisan kedua dengan hujung jari mereka melalui skrin sentuh yang terletak di belakang tempat duduk barisan pertama.
Kelebihan keterhubungan digital sebagai sebuah kemewahan progresif yang premium direalisasikan oleh BMW Connected, ia membolehkan integrasi maklumat hibur yang lancar antara barisan tempat duduk yang pertama dan kedua.
Contohnya, penumpang akan mempunyai akses kepada servis digital yang diperibadikan seperti seleksi maklumat hibur atau kandungan perihal kerja yang membolehkan perjalanan mereka menjadi lebih selesa, menghiburkan dan lebih produktif.
Kandungan digital juga boleh dikongsikan dengan individu lain yang turut menaiki kenderaan tersebut. Sebagai contoh, penumpang dan pemandu boleh menghantar lagu dari peranti peribadi mereka ke sistem muzik kenderaan tersebut melalui isyarat sentuh, menghantar artikel menarik ke paparan yang bersebelahan bagi penumpang yang duduk berhampiran mereka untuk dibaca atau menghantar alamat dari e-mel mereka terus ke sistem navigasi kenderaan tersebut.
Koreografi LED interaktif (Interactive LED choreography) melalui panel pintu dan panel instrumen membolehkan komunikasi yang lancar antara skrin belakang dan paparan yang terletak di bahagian hadapan kabin.
Secara keseluruhannya, BMW Concept X7 iPerformance mendemonstrasikan kemustahilan untuk menggandingkan kenderaan sports activity yang bersaiz besar dengan drivetrain elektrik, dan disempurnakan dengan kelebihan keterhubungan digital. BMW X7 yang bakal dikeluarkan terdiri daripada model kenderaan yang paling besar di dalam sejarah bagi pengeluar kenderaan premium ini dan ia dijadualkan untuk dilancarkan pada tahun 2019.
Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) recently acquired 15 units of Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4-litre contributed by PLUS Highway for the traffic laws enforcement on the highway.

“These vehicles were contributed to PDRM to be used as Expressway Mobile Patrol Vehicle (EMPV). The SUVs will be known as ‘Police Highway Eagle’ which will enhance the effectiveness in enforcing traffic laws during festive seasons,” said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.
Being there to witness the handover ceremony, Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, Tomoyuki Shinnishi said “Safety is the Mitsubishi Outlander’s strongest suit, befitting its role as a family vehicle.
But now, we are delighted to know that besides being one of the best safety specced vehicles on the road, the Outlander is meeting every requirement of PDRM to assist them with the enforcement of traffic laws on the highway.”

In a separate ceremony, PDRM also acquired eight Mitsubishi cars consisting of Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4-litre and Mitsubishi ASX Compact SUV contributed by ANIH Berhad. The contribution made by these two highway concessions were valued at an estimation of
RM3 million.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has enjoyed a strong start to 2018, with the marque seeing a significant boost to global sales.
ROLLS-ROYCE worldwide sales were up 13 per cent compared with the same period in 2017, with demand for all Rolls-Royce models holding firm in Europe, the US and other key regions. There are encouraging signs of recovery in the Chinese market; like all luxury brands, however, the marque faces continued economic headwinds in the Middle East.
Deliveries of the company’s pinnacle product, the eighth-generation Phantom, began in January, with the new Cullinan super-luxury SUV causing a global media and public sensation on its launch in May.
The first customer deliveries for Cullinan are due early next year; order books for both models are exceptionally strong. Global demand for Wraith, Ghost and Dawn also remains keen, driven in part by their Black Badge variants, which are bringing the Rolls Royce brand to new audiences.
Bespoke is the jewel in the Rolls-Royce crown, with almost all cars commissioned from the Home of Rolls-Royce now incorporating individual elements designed and created to the owner’s precise specification.
The first six months of 2018 saw some truly exceptional examples of Bespoke artistry and craftsmanship, including ‘Wraith Luminary’, Dawn ‘Inspired by Music’ and the Wraith and Dawn Adamas Collection, together with a number of exceptional customer commissions.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has created more than 50 new permanent jobs, primarily in skilled manufacturing roles. The Goodwood plant now employs over 1,800 people, with the cosmopolitan workforce comprising almost 50 different nationalities.

Honda Malaysia recorded sales of 51,354 units in the first half of 2018 with 17.7% of Total Industry Volume (TIV), Honda Malaysia maintains positions as No.1 in Non-National segment and No.2 in overall TIV
HONDA Malaysia is confident of achieving its 2018 sales target of 109,000 units following the encouraging sales performance in the first half of this year. In the period of January to June 2018, Honda Malaysia recorded total sales of 51,354 units, which places the company on track to achieve its sales target for the year.

Honda Malaysia received the highest number of bookings in its history in the month of June with a record-breaking 20,000 units. The highest contributor to the total number of bookings obtained in that month was City at 36%, followed by CR-V and Civic at 14% each.
This outstanding sales performance can be partially attributed to the zero-rated GST and festive promotions that have been on-going.

Due to the overwhelming bookings, Honda Malaysia has to extend the waiting period up to four months for certain models. Honda Malaysia apologises for the extended waiting period and would like to thank customers for the strong support towards the Honda brand and making the company the leading marque in the Non-National segment.
Based on this sales record, Honda Malaysia contributed 17.7% to the Total Industry Volume (TIV) as at 30 June 2018. The steady sales has also maintained Honda Malaysia in No.1 in Non-National segment and No.2 in overall TIV positions in the first half of 2018.
In reviewing performance by models, City stood out as the most popular model among customers in the past six months with over 15,400 units sold translating to 30% of the total sales. This is an impressive increase of 7% compared to the same period last year.

Following closely behind the City are the HR-V and CR-V models, which accounted for 16% and 13% of the total sales for the first six months of 2018 respectively. All three models also maintained the segment leadership position during this period alongside other Honda models such as the Jazz, BR-V, Accord and Civic.
Earlier this year, Honda Malaysia launched the New Odyssey, an MPV with unrivalled premium safety features which was brought a notch higher with the availability of Honda SENSING. Recently, Honda Malaysia opened booking for the New HR-V at all 95 Honda authorised dealers nationwide.
