Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, ranked highest in J.D. Power 2019 Malaysia Customer Service Index (CSI) Mass Market Study.
MMM is ranked highest in overall satisfaction with a score of 791. This is the second consecutive year for MMM to be ranked at number one.

According to J.D. Power, the 2019 Malaysia Customer Service Index (Mass Market) Study is based on responses from 2,644 new-vehicle owners who received delivery of their new vehicle between February 2016 and June 2018 and took their vehicle for service to an authorized service centre between February 2018 and June 2019.
The study measures customer satisfaction with the servicing and vehicle-return process and was fielded from February through June 2019.
The study is now at its 17 th year, measuring the overall satisfaction among vehicle owners who visited an authorized service centre for maintenance or repair work during the first 12 to 36 months of ownership and is based on five factors; service quality (25%); vehicle pick-up (21%); service initiation (20%); service facility (17%); and service advisor (16%). Overall satisfaction for the industry averages 761 points.

AirAsia akan mengutip kenaikan Caj Perkhidmatan Penumpang (PSC) yang dikenakan oleh Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) bermula daripada tengah malam ini dalam bantahan berikutan keputusan mahkamah baru-baru ini.
Mahkamah Tinggi Kuala Lumpur baru-baru ini yang menolak permohonan AirAsia Berhad dan AirAsia X Berhad untuk membatalkan tuntutan berkaitan tunggakan bayaran Caj Perkhidmatan Penumpang kepada anak syarikat MAHB, Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd (MASSB).

Caj Perkhidmatan Penumpang, dikenali juga sebagai cukai lapangan terbang, adalah caj yang dikenakan oleh MAHB kepada para penumpang yang berlepas menggunakan kemudahan lapangan terbang. Ia dikutip oleh syarikat penerbangan seperti AirAsia bagi pihak pengendali lapangan terbang.
MAHB telah mengenakan Caj Perkhidmatan Penumpang baharu sebanyak RM73 kepada para penumpang yang mengunakan klia2 ke destinasi-destinasi di luar Asean sejak Julai 2018.
Ia merupakan kadar yang sama dikenakan untuk terminal perkhidmatan penuh KLIA. Kadar ini lebih tinggi daripada kadar yang terdahulu iaitu RM50, dan AirAsia enggan mengutip jumlah tambahan sebanyak RM23 daripada para penumpang untuk memastikan perjalanan udara kekal berpatutan untuk semua.
AirAsia kini akan mula mengutip kadar tambahan RM23 bagi Caj Perkhidmatan Penumpang, dan perbezaan jumlah tersebut akan dipaparkan secara jelas dalam jumlah tambang sebagai “PSC (Dalam Bantahan).”
Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif AirAsia Malaysia, Riad Asmat berkata, “Kami akan mengutip jumlah Caj Perkhidmatan Penumpang penuh berjumlah RM73 tetapi kami membuatnya sebagai satu bentuk bantahan.
“Kami akan memaparkan tambahan PSC sebanyak RM23 ini sebagai satu item khusus di dalam resit pembayaran agar 5.5 juta para tetamu kami yang berlepas dari klia2 untuk ke destinasi-destinasi luar daripada Asean setiap tahun dapat menilai sendiri sama ada jumlah yang mereka bayar itu setimpal dengan kemudahan di klia2 yang berkualiti rendah.
“Saya percaya ramai akan bersetuju ianya tidak berbaloi untuk membayar caj yang sama bagi terminal tersebut berbanding KLIA yang lebih mewah dan selesa,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif AirAsia X Malaysia, Benyamin Ismail berkata, “Kami sesungguhnya keberatan untuk mengutip kenaikan cukai ini, dan kami bersimpati terhadap para tetamu kami.
“Caj Perkhidmatan Penumpang bagi penerbangan ke destinasi di luar Asean telah naik lebih dua kali ganda dalam masa kurang dua tahun daripada RM32 pada 2016 kepada RM73 mulai tahun lepas. Ini kenaikan yang melampau dan kami akan terus membantah menerusi semua saluran undang-undang.
“Walau bagaimanapun, kami terpaksa mengutip tambahan sebanyak RM23 kerana kami tidak mampu untuk terus memberi subsidi kepada para tetamu kami sekiranya rayuan kami akhirnya tetap tidak diterima di mahkamah. Kami harap para tetamu kami dapat memahami situasi ini,” katanya.

Kerjasama ini termasuklah pelantikan TM ONE sebagai salah satu rakan teknologi rasmi EPOMS dalam menyediakan rumusan digital yang holistik untuk mewujudkan tenaga kerja dan pengurusan data yang lebih terhubung.
Usahasama ini bertujuan untuk mempertingkatkan dan memperkasakan pendigitalan O&M, satu langkah ke arah menjadikan industri minyak dan gas lebih produktif, tangkas dan bersedia untuk masa hadapan.

Kisah mengenai Proton Saga adalah sinonim dengan Proton, mengimbau kembali 34 tahun lalu dan tiga perubahan sepenuhnya dilakukan pada model tersebut.
Saga 2019 telah diberikan rekaan terkini yang masih mengekalkan identitinya tetapi pada masa yang sama meletakkannya ke barisan model Proton yang lain.
Rekaan Luaran
Saga 2019 dipasangkan dengan bampar hadapan baharu dan lebih agresif bersepadu dengan lampu nyalaan siang. Pada bahagian gril turut mempunyai corak infinite weave yang mula diperkenalkan melalui model Proton X70 serta Iriz dan Persona 2019.
Bampar belakang yang sama menonjol sepadan dengan bahagian hadapan dan rekaan di belakang dilengkapi dengan spoiler belakang bersepadu baharu dan nama Proton terletak pada bahagian penutup but.
Set roda aloi bersaiz 15 inci yang menampilkan rekaan baharu menyerikan lagi sentuhan akhir pada varian premium.
Dalaman
Pada bahagian dalam pula, perubahan paling ketara dilakukan adalah pada monitor skrin sesentuh 7-inci terapung atau floating touchscreen pada model premium.
Digunakan untuk mengawal sistem infotainmen, kemudahan ini mempunyai sambungan Bluetooth, kapasiti penyimpanan dalaman 16GB dan sambungan telefon pintar untuk Android.
Perubahan lain termasuklah upholsteri tempat duduk baharu, panel tengah baharu, paparan kombinasi meter baharu dengan Bantuan Pemanduan Eco dan turut dilengkapi sehingga 3 tempat cucuk USB.
Kemudahan yang turut disediakan dalam Saga 2019 ini termasuklah kunci pembuka but, pelindung matahari dengan pemegang kad dan cermin, lampu peta LED dan pemegang genggaman baharu untuk disepadankan dengan bahan yang digunakan di bahagian dalaman kereta.
Secara mekanikal, perubahan paling besar adalah transmisi automatik empat kelajuan baharu menggantikan CVT yang digunakan sebelum ini.
Barisan Jurutera Proton kemudiannya membuat peningkatan pada prestasi brek, tahap kebisingan, getaran dan kekasaran (NVH) serta keseimbangan pemanduan dan pengendalian disamping menambah tahap keselamatan yang berkelas dunia.
Sebagai contoh brek yang dilengkapkan pada model ini adalah sama seperti yang dipasangkan pada Proton Iriz dan Persona yang lebih besar manakala penggunaan kotak gear automatik empat kelajuan baharu memberikan pemandu kawalan manual yang lebih baik semasa memandu dengan penuh tenaga.
Ciri Keselamatan
Ciri-ciri keselamatan pada model ini terdiri daripada Brek Anti Kekunci (ABS) dengan Agihan Brek Elektronik (EBD) dan Bantuan Brek (BA) untuk ketiga-tiga varian yang turut dilengkapi dengan beg udara depan, sensor tempat letak kereta belakang dan titik penahan ISOFIX dengan top tethers.
Tambahan pada varian Premium adalah Bantuan Kawalan Cerun, sensor tempat letak kereta hadapan, kamera undur dan Kawalan Kestabilan Elektronik (ESC) dengan Sistem Kawalan Cengkaman (TCS).
Dengan pertambahan ciri-ciri keselamatan ini, Saga 2019 menjadi satu-satunya kereta yang berharga kurang daripada RM40,000 dilengkapi ESC dan TCS.
Sama seperti Proton X70, Iriz, Persona dan Exora 2019, Saga baharu ini menawarkan pakej Nilai Tambahan atau Extra Value. Terdapat tiga pakej Nilai Tambahan standard yang bermula dengan pakej servis yang menawarkan kos pekerja percuma sebanyak tiga kali atau selama satu tahun.
Seterusnya adalah pakej kadar faedah dengan kadar pembiayaan serendah 2.98% setahun. Akhir sekali ialah pakej insurans yang menawarkan pelbagai manfaat kepada pelanggan yang menginsuranskan pembelian baharu mereka dengan panel Proton.
Digabungkan dengan pengurangan harga dan nilai ciri-ciri baharu yang diperkenalkan dalam setiap varian, Saga 2019 Premium AT 1.3L memberi nilai tambahan sebanyak RM3,747 berbanding model sebelum ini.
Bagi varian Standard AT 1.3L pula memberi penjimatan sebanyak RM2,043 manakala Standard MT 1.3L mempunyai nilai tambahan sebanyak RM2,291 untuk mereka yang membelinya.

Menjadi sebahagian daripada inisiatif Volkswagen Cares, perkhidmatan itu boleh didapati pada harga serendah RM515 dan dicadangkan sebagai satu langkah preventif bagi setiap 45,000km.
Diperakui dan diluluskan oleh Volkswagen AG, langkah ini dilihat ekonomikal, efisien dan tidak menghakis kerana ia tidak menggunakan bahan kimia berbahaya.
Semua kereta dengan enjin pancitan terus yang menggunakan bahan api akan menghasilkan deposit karbon akibat kesan proses pembakaran, ia kemudian menyebabkan prestasi enjin menjadi lembab.
Selepas bertahun-tahun, ia akan membentuk jelaga yang keras di sekeliling injap pengambilan. Jelaga tersebut menimbulkan halangan di dalam enjin dan membuatkan enjin hilang kuasa, panas dan penggunaan bahan api lebih tinggi.
Selain daripada lampu amaran Electronic Power Control dan enjin menyala, simptom lain ialah bunyi melahu yang kasar, pecutan tidak lancar, cetusan terputus-putus dan bunyi ketukan (knocking).
Pengarah Urusan Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia, Erik Winter berkata, penambahan servis ini merupakan sebahagian daripada usaha berterusan di bawah janji Volkswagen Cares.

Pertandingan Kepintaran yang Memberi Inspirasi atau Intelligence that Inspires Challenge anjuran Proton berakhir pada 29 Julai 2019 di Pusat Kecemerlangan Proton (COE).
SEBANYAK 12 kumpulan bersaing antara satu sama lain dan membuat pembentangan akhir mereka kepada seramai tujuh orang juri yang terdiri daripada pengurusan kanan Proton, pakar industri pemasaran dan pengamal media.
Pemenang keseluruhan bagi pertandingan ini ialah kumpulan Eureka dari Politeknik Port Dickson yang mencuri perhatian barisan juri dengan idea inovatif mereka serta mempamerkan pembentangan yang baik.
Tempat kedua pula ialah kumpulan Alpha dari Taylor’s Lakeside Campus manakala tempat ketiga dimenangi oleh kumpulan Alpha Visionaries dari UTAR Kampar.
Untuk memastikan para peserta peringkat akhir ini didedahkan dengan sebanyak mungkin pengalaman sebenar dunia pekerjaan, Proton telah memanggil pakar-pakar dalam bidang pemasaran dan media untuk menjadi juri.

Dr Li Chunrong, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Proton berkata, bagi tahun 2019, jualan telah meningkat sebanyak 61% untuk enam bulan pertama tahun ini, mengatasi semua pesaing industri serta Jumlah Keseluruhan Industri (TIV).
“Syarikat kini telah mengakhiri tiga bulan berturut-turut di tempat kedua dalam jadual jualan dan kini hanya berada beberapa ratus unit di belakang jenama saingan Jepun iaitu Honda untuk jualan keseluruhan tahun ini.
“Sasaran seterusnya adalah untuk mengakhiri tahun ini di tempat kedua dengan mensasarkan untuk menjual lebih daripada 100,000 unit kereta pada 2020 dan kami juga berhasrat untuk mencapai skor tertinggi di dalam kelas bagi Indeks Khidmat Pelanggan (CSI) dan Indeks Khidmat Jualan (SSI).
“Untuk mencapai matlamat ini, kami juga berniat untuk menambah jumlah cawangan 3S/4S dari 100 kepada 150 sehingga hujung tahun ini. Proton juga akan terus meningkatkan kualiti produknya dan matlamat jangka panjang kami adalah untuk selari dengan skor pemeriksaan kualiti Geely,” katanya.
