AMBANK Group through its sports club, Kelab AmBank Group (KAG) invited 100 underprivileged children from Sekolah Kebangsaan Desa Tasik for a Majlis Berbuka Puasa with Tan Sri Azman Hashim on Friday, 25 May 2018 and a Hari Raya shopping programme on Wednesday, 30 May 2018.

In the spirit of Ramadan, AmBank Group organises this annual charity event to bring festive cheer to the children. The 100 children consisting 45 boys and 55 girls, aged between 7 to 12 years old, were ushered to Mydin Wholesale Hypermarket, USJ, Subang Jaya to shop for their new Baju Melayu and Baju Kurung.

The Buka Puasa hosted by Tan Sri Azman Hashim, Chairman, AmBank Group together with the Senior Management and AmBank Group staff was held at Dewan Perdana Felda, Kuala Lumpur.

“This is one activity which we look forward to every year in the holy month of Ramadan. This is one way for us to contribute to the less fortunate, in line with the Islamic teachings of caring, self-discipline, sacrifice and sympathy to the less fortunate,” said Syed Anuar Syed Ali, Head, Group Corporate Communications & Marketing, AmBank Group who is also the President of Kelab AmBank Group.

“We are delighted to have the children of Sekolah Kebangsaan Desa Tasik joining us for this occasion. The school is one of our adopted schools under the School Adoption Programme assigned by Bank Negara Malaysia. Their presence certainly makes this Ramadan a more meaningful and joyous occasion,” he added.

This programme falls under the AmKasih Programme which is the platform for the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) sustainable development initiatives. The AmKasih Programme focuses on “reaching out to the community” and serves as an umbrella for all AmBank Group’s CSR efforts to help the community.

Lebih 250 pemilik motosikal berkuasa tinggi menghadiri Majlis Berbuka Puasa anjuran Harapan Baru Bikers semalam di Hype Motorsports Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

HARAPAN Baru Bikers yang ditubuhkan pada Ogos 2015 di Sungai Lalang, Sungai Petani Kedah itu ketika ini memiliki lebih 300 ahli di seluruh negara.

Presiden Harapan Baru Bikers, Yasir Said berkata, kelab ini ditubuhkan selepas menerima banyak permintaan daripada pemilik motosikal berkuasa tinggi khususnya di Utara tanah air yang ‘dahagakan’ program dan aktiviti santai sesama sendiri.

“Selepas tamatnya Pilihan Raya Umum Ke-14 (PRU-14), kami berbincang untuk mengadakan program pertama bersama dengan pemimpin Pakatan Harapan membabitkan sebahagian  ahli dari Utara, Lembah Klang dan Melaka.

“Penaung Harapan Baru Bikers ialah Menteri Pertahanan, YB Tuan Hj Mohamad Sabu yang kemudian sudi melepaskan konvoi kami ke Melaka pada jam 2 pagi ini menuju ke Melaka,” katanya ketika ditemui selepas majlis berbuka puasa bersama pemimpin Pakatan Harapan di Hype Motorsports Hotel, Sungai Besi Kuala Lumpur.

Ditanya sama ada Harapan Baru Bikers akan membuka keahliannya kepada pemilik motosikal kapcai atau moped, Yasir berkata ketika ini keahlian terbuka kepada pemilik motosikal berkuasa tinggi dengan sasaran keahlian seramai 500 orang sehingga akhir tahun ini.

“Bagaimanapun, pihak kami mempunyai perancangan untuk membuka keahlian kepada pemilik motosikal kapcai atau moped pada masa depan kerana tujuan kelab ini ditubuhkan adalah untuk menganjurkan aktiviti yang berfaedah dan pada masa sama menitikberatkan aspek menunggang dengan selamat,” katanya.

Rolls-Royce Dawn Inspired By Music Takes To The Stage

The social, convivial atmosphere of Dawn has been encapsulated in a light-hearted music video introducing Dawn ‘Inspired by Music’.

IN a playful twist, Dawn ‘Inspired by Music’ was taken for a spin in Rolls-Royce’s anechoic chamber, at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex.

The special sound-deadening room is most commonly used during the build process of all Rolls-Royce motor cars to detect any unwanted extraneous sounds, resulting in models such as the world’s most silent car, a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

A hyper-sensitive microphone was used to capture the mechanical and electrical tones of Dawn, including the soft closing doors, the umbrella exciting from its home in the door, the windscreen wipers, indicators and the Spirit of Ecstasy proudly taking her place on the prow of the motor car.

These sounds were then mixed together with deconstructed music stems to create a wholly new track.

Dawn ‘Inspired by Music’ follows in the footsteps of its hugely successful accompaniment, Wraith ‘Inspired by Music’.

The motor car features the unrivalled aural experience of the marque’s Bespoke Audio system; the Lyrical Copper exterior paint finish is presented with a blend of brushed and polished textures, elegantly hinting at the use of copper found in only the very best audio systems.
