REW 2023 Beri Tumpuan Penstrukturan Semula Pasaran Minyak Global

Forum Antarabangsa Minggu Tenaga Rusia (REW 2023) akan diadakan di Moscow pada 11-13 Oktober.

Peserta akan membincangkan tentang prospek kerjasama tenaga di antara Rusia dan negara membangun terbesar di dunia, termasuk China, India dan negara-negara Afrika.

Salah satu topik utama dalam Forum akan datang ialah kesan penstrukturan semula koridor pengangkutan dan logistik terhadap sektor tenaga global.

“Perdagangan minyak global sedang mengalami perubahan struktur yang besar. Negara-negara Timur Tengah, yang pernah memainkan peranan penting dalam menyediakan komoditi bagi ekonomi Asia Timur yang sedang berkembang, sedang meningkatkan bekalan minyak mereka kepada Eropah.

Oleh itu, Rusia telah meningkatkan secara mendadak eksport minyaknya ke India, China dan beberapa negara Asia Pasifik yang lain.

Selain itu, negara-negara Amerika Latin, termasuk Brazil dan Guyana, dengan jarak penghantaran yang setara dengan Eropah dan negara Asia Pasifik, mereka memainkan peranan yang semakin meningkat dalam pasaran minyak,” kata Penasihat Presiden Persekutuan Rusia dan Setiausaha Eksekutif Jawatankuasa Pelaksana REW 2023, Anton Kobyakov.

Menyatakan bahawa pasaran minyak global terus cuba menyesuaikan diri dengan peristiwa geopolitik semasa, “Minyak Rusia, meskipun dikenakan sekatan, memasuki pelbagai pasaran dengan struktur harga yang berubah-ubah.

Logistik telah menjadi semakin rumit dan mahal, kerana kapal tangki minyak perlu melalui jarak yang jauh untuk menghantar bahan mentah dan produk petroleum. Kesan peralihan ini terhadap masa depan pasaran minyak akan menjadi salah satu topik penting dalam Minggu Tenaga Rusia yang akan datang,” tambah Kobyakov.

Pengimport terbesar produk proses Rusia pada bulan Ogos 2023 ialah Turki, India dan UAE. Ketiga-tiga negara ini menyumbang 46% daripada bekalan maritim Persekutuan Rusia (1.04 juta daripada 2.27 juta t/s). Peranan Brazil, China dan Malaysia menjadi semakin penting: 

Pengguna wilayah ini menyumbang sehingga 18% (397,000 t/s) daripada jumlah struktur pembekal produk minyak Rusia. 

Singapura, yang membangunkan hab produk minyaknya secara aktif, menyumbang kepada 7% lagi daripada penghantaran produk proses Persekutuan Rusia (152,000 t/s) dalam bulan Ogos.

Republik Yunani dan Malta juga memainkan peranan yang penting: Berlaku pemunggahan produk petroleum di perairan wilayah negara-negara EU ini, menjadikan jumlah bahagian eksport negara-negara ini pada bulan Ogos 2023 ialah 8% (191 t/s).

“Penstrukturan semula aliran logistik bukanlah sekadar slogan yang menarik, tetapi merupakan fakta kukuh. Contohnya, pada bulan Ogos 2023, 20 pengimport produk petroleum teratas daripada Persekutuan Rusia termasuk 9 negara-negara Afrika: Algeria, Ghana, Mesir, Maghribi, Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia dan Togo.

Jumlah pembekal maritim bagi produk petroleum daripada Rusia kepada negara-negara ini telah mencapai 411 ribu tong sehari (t/s), dan mereka berkongsi struktur eksport Rusia yang menyumbang kepada 18%,” kata Igor Yushkov, merupakan pakar daripada Kelab Tenaga REW.

Umumnya, menurut Igor Yushkov, jumlah pembekal produk minyak luar pesisir daripada Rusia telah berkurang hampir 780,000 t/s sejak beberapa bulan lalu. Perkara utama ini disebabkan oleh komitmen Rusia untuk mengurangkan pengeluaran minyak di bawah perjanjian OPEC+.

PETRONAS, IDEMITSU COLLABORATE TO ACCELERATE DEVELOPMENT OF SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUEL FOR THE AVIATION INDUSTRY

PETRONAS and Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. (Idemitsu) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance capabilities across the supply chain and optimise the route to market for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), marking a significant step in both companies’ ongoing commitment to producing lower carbon energy solutions for customers worldwide.

Under the terms of the MOU, PETRONAS and Idemitsu will focus on a feasibility study to scale-up bio feedstock possibilities, production cost analysis and security in ensuring a steady and efficient supply chain for the sustainable development of SAF. This includes exploring the supply potential of non-edible oil feedstock trees suitable to produce SAF, such as Pongamia and Jatropha.

In addition, both companies will also work on establishing a robust SAF sales and distribution network to ensure SAF accessibility to airlines.

PETRONAS Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Downstream, Datuk Sazali Hamzah said, “Our partnership with Idemitsu builds on a legacy of almost five decades of shared ambition to address the everchanging energy needs worldwide.

In the latest collaboration, our valued partner will continue to have access to our distinctive advantage, enabling us to collectively deliver impactful outcomes for the benefits of our end customers. This is the standard of value we consistently offer to our business-to-business customers.”

Idemitsu Director and Managing Executive Officer Masahiko Sawa said, “As the two companies have overcome various challenges together, we expect this new initiative will contribute to the achievement of carbon neutrality in the aviation industry through the early implementation and deployment of SAF in society. Idemitsu is engaged in the development of various raw materials and marketing for SAF, and we will utilise and further develop them in this joint study.”

With ongoing endeavours in the space of cleaner energy solutions, PETRONAS will soon have the capacity for large scale production of SAF and other types of biofuels by 2026 through its biorefinery in Pengerang, Johor and co-processing in Melaka. This will enable PETRONAS to capture markets beyond aviation to include transportation as well as Formula One and its logistics team.

The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S stands for absolute top performance in the compact four-door
coupé segment. With an output of 310 kW (421 hp), the Coupé accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and the top speed is limited to 270 km/h.

In addition to the pure performance figures, the AMG 2.0-litre turbo engine impresses with its spontaneous response.

The fully variable all-wheel drive with AMG TORQUE CONTROL makes a significant contribution to the dynamic driving experience. The rear-axle transmission contains two
electronically controlled multi-plate clutches, each of which is connected to a driveshaft on the rear axle.

This allows the drive power to be distributed variably not only between the front and rear axles, but also wheel-selectively between the left and right rear wheels. The AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension equipped within the AMG CLA 45 S provides superior performance in
everyday driving and on the racetrack.
