EMOS Introduces New Color, Graphics Options For Z900, Z900 SE and ZX25R SE

Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (EMOS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (MODENAS), has unveiled new colours and graphics for its Kawasaki Z900 ABS, Kawasaki Z900 SE, and Modenas ZX25R SE, expanding the range of choices available for riders in the Malaysian market.

KAWASAKI Z900 ABS/SE

The Z900 and Z900 SE models offer integrated riding modes, power mode selection, and three variations of KTRC traction control, providing riders with a comprehensive riding experience.

Additionally, a new Candy Persimmon Red/Ebony colourway adds vibrancy, while the Z900 SE debuts a dynamic Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Candy Lime

MODENAS NINJA ZX25-R SE

The Modenas Ninja ZX-25R SE now offers a new colour option: Metallic Phantom Silver X Ebony (Stormcloud Blue). The Malaysian market will enjoy the same updated visuals as Japan. While the existing Lime Green/Ebony livery remains available, the new 2024 Stormcloud Blue will permanently replace the Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Grey / Ebony livery.

The 2024 two-tone colour scheme for the Ninja ZX-25R SE features a refined Metallic Phantom Silver x Ebony design with subtle slate blue accents. The trellis frame, mirrors, alloy wheels, seat, handlebars, grips, and exhaust cover are all elegantly black, creating a sleek contrast.

The matte silver predominates in the design, with a discreet black slash on the side fairing hosting a white ZX-25R decal at its centre. Slate blue accents tastefully highlight various points on the fairing, including the iconic Ninja logo positioned low down on the side of the
belly.

This new offering for 2024 is set to make a statement. This exciting new colour will be on display in dealer showrooms starting at the end of February 2024.

Samsung and Google Cloud Join Forces to Bring Generative AI to Samsung Galaxy S24 Series

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Google Cloud today announced a new multi-year partnership to bring Google Cloud’s generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology to Samsung smartphone users around the globe.

Starting with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series announced today at Galaxy Unpacked in San Jose, California, Samsung will be the first Google Cloud partner to deploy Gemini Pro and Imagen 2 on Vertex AI via the cloud to their smartphone devices.

“Google and Samsung have long shared deeply held values around the importance of making technology more helpful and accessible for everyone. Penduduk Teruja Belajar Teknik Memadam Api Bersama Anggota Bomba

Seramai kira-kira 70 penduduk Jalan Pahlawan 22/4 – 46/3, Seksyen 3, Bandar Mahkota Cheras, Selangor menyertai Program Pencegahan Kebakaran Bersama Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia yang diadakan di Jalan 22/4 pada Ahad, 28 Januari 2024.

Program yang julung kali diadakan itu dirasmikan oleh Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Kajang, YB David Cheong Kian Yong dan dihadiri oleh Ahli Majlis Perbandaran Kajang (MPKJ), Lim Kim Eng dan mendapat kerjasama baik serta sokongan daripada Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia, Balai Bomba Tun Hussein Onn, Cheras Selangor.

ADUN Kajang, David Cheong berkata, pihaknya mengucapkan syabas kepada ahli persatuan penduduk yang berjaya menganjurkan program ini kerana ia memberi manfaat kepada penduduk di taman ini untuk mengetahui teknik mencegah dan memadamkan kebakaran jika berlaku di rumah masing-masing.

“Semua penduduk harus mengambil peluang menyertai program ini kerana ia dijalankan secara percuma menerusi ceramah dan demontrasi dijalankan oleh pihak bomba, Saya berharap semua penduduk dapat memanfaatkan program ini untuk keselamatan ahli keluarga masing-masing,” katanya ketika berucap merasmikan program ini.

Hadir sama, Pengerusi Persatuan Penduduk Jalan Pahlawan, Bandar Mahkota Cheras, Peter Loo Chen, wakil pegawai polis dari Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Kajang, Tuan Khairul dan wakil pegawai bomba dari Balai Bomba Tun Hussein Onn, Tn Yahya.

Sementara itu, YB David Cheong turut mengadakan dialog bersama penduduk dan antara isu yang dibincangkan termasuk mengenai keadaan jalan raya yang rosak, kesesakan lalu lintas pada waktu pagi, longkang yang tersumbat, projek pembinaan sekolah dan klinik kesihatan.

Mengenai keadaan jalan raya yang rosak, beliau berkata masalah itu sering diajukan kepada pihak berkaitan termasuk dibincangkan dalam mesyuarat kerajaan negeri manakala kesesakan lalu lintas di waktu puncak, masalah itu turut dimaklumkan kepada pihak berkuasa seperti polis trafik, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan dan Majlis Perbandaran Kajang.

Ketika ditanya mengenai cadangan pembinaan sekolah di Bandar Mahkota Cheras, beliau berkata, perkara itu ada dibincangkan tetapi belum tahu bila sekolah berkenaan akan dibina namun yang pasti sebuah klinik kesihatan telah dicadangkan dibina di kawasan seluas 9 ekar berhampiran tapak cadangan pembinanaan sekolah.

“Untuk pengetahuan penduduk, pemaju telah menyediakan tapak pembinaan sekolah seluas 12 ekar dan 9 ekar akan digunakan untuk pembinaan sebuah klinik kesihatan yang akan memberi manfaat kepada semua penduduk sekitar taman ini,” katanya lagi.

Antara aktiviti menarik yang dijalankan sepanjang program bersama Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat termasuk ceramah mengenai teknik menggunakan alat pemadam api yang betul, bagaimana menjaga jangka hayat alat pemadam api dan demontrasi memadam api menggunakan alat pemadam api.

Penduduk yang hadir kemudian turut dijamukan dengan sarapan pagi dan pek makanan tengahari diberikan secara percuma.

Sementara itu, salah seorang penduduk yang ditemui berasa bertuah kerana dapat menyarung baju bomba dan mencuba api menggunakan alat pemadam api dengan betul.

“Sebelum ini, saya hanya tugas anggota bomba memadam kebakaran, kini saya seronok dan teruja mencuba sendiri memadamkan api yang besar menerusi tunjuk ajar demontrasi oleh anggota bomba,” katanya.

Maxis dan Public Bank bekerjasama Percepat Penerima Gunaan Digital Antara PKS Malaysia

Maxis dan Public Bank Bhd. (Public Bank) akan bekerjasama untuk mempercepatkan
penerima gunaan digital dalam kalangan perusahaan kecil dan sederhana (PKS) Malaysia.

Melalui kerjasama ini, yang telah dimeterai di sebuah majlis pertukaran Memorandum
Persefahaman (MoU), kedua-dua pihak akan menjalankan program kesedaran bersama
untuk mempromosikan digitalisasi antara PKS. Ini juga akan membuka jalan untuk PKS
mengakses penyelesaian digital, bersama dengan bantuan kewangan untuk
melaksanakannya.

Pengarah Urusan dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Public Bank, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Tay Ah Lek,
berkata, kerjasama ini akan melihat PKS Malaysia mendapat yang terbaik daripada kedua-
dua bidang kewangan dan teknologi.

“Kami percaya bahawa dengan menggabungkan kepakaran kewangan kami dengan kebolehan teknologi Maxis, kami dapat memberikan impak yang bermakna dalam transformasi digital PKS Malaysia, membolehkan mereka berkembang dan menyumbang kepada pertumbuhan ekonomi negara.

Maxis mula menggunakan Kenderaan Elektrik dalam operasi lapangan

Maxis telah mula mengintegrasikan kenderaan elektrik (EV) dalam operasi lapangannya,
menerajui syarikat telekomunikasi Malaysia dalam mengurangkan jejak karbon mereka dan
mengguna pakai penyelesaian tenaga bersih.

Langkah ini menekankan dedikasi syarikat terhadap amalan mampan, meminimumkan jejak karbon, dan mempromosikan masa depan yang lebih mesra alam. Set pertama EV terdiri daripada enam kenderaan jarak jauh BYD Dolphin yang digunakan oleh pasukan operasi mudah alih dan gentian Maxis di wilayah Tengah dan Utara.
