2024,” set to take place on 16th November 2024 (Saturday) at Dataran Putrajaya.

The theme for this year’s run is to “ELEVATE”, encouraging participants to push their limits and reach new athletic heights while also making fun-filled memories along the way.

Hospital Picaso Hosts Successful 3-Day Art Of Urological Minimally Invasive Surgery Conference

Hospital Picaso proudly announces the successful conclusion of a 3-day conference that was held from the 27th to the 29th of June, organised by the College of Surgeons Malaysia and hosted by Hospital Picaso.

Titled the “Art of Urological Minimally Invasive Surgery”, urologists from Malaysia and international guest speakers took turns to share their experiences, techniques and innovations in minimally invasive urological procedures and topics ranging from robotic-assisted surgery to precision-guided interventions.

This conference was aimed at fostering collaboration, sharing the latest advancements in surgical techniques and providing hands-on learning opportunities for the attendees.

The conference saw over 30 doctors from all over the world participating in person and via Zoom. Over the course of three days, participants engaged in a series of keynote presentations, panel discussions and witnessed 3 live surgeries broadcasted from Hospital Picaso’s robotic operating theatre.

Held in the same month that Hospital Picaso opened its doors, the event is a testament to its commitment towards establishing itself as a Centre of Excellence for Advanced Surgery.

Hospital Picaso is home to 3 Consultant Urologists; all of whom were course directors at the conference – Dato’ Dr Loh Chit Sin, Dr Fam Xeng Inn and Dr Badrulhisham Bahadzor. Together, they have amassed a combined total of 1,300 robotic-assisted surgeries.

“We are thrilled with the response to our first conference. The live surgery sessions were particularly well received, offering a rare and valuable opportunity to other urologists to learn from the type of complex cases we treat.” Dato’ Dr Loh shared.

Dr Badrulhisham echoed his sentiments, “For a new hospital that just opened its doors, we are proud to start off strong. The field of urological innovation is a dynamic field.

Masjid Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah telah dinobatkan sebagai Masjid Hijau pertama di negeri Pahang di bawah program Rumah Ibadat Hijau (RIH) bersempena dengan Karnival Rumah Ibadat Hijau.

Masjid ini bakal menjadi mercu tanda amalan mesra alam dan mempromosikan gaya hidup hijau yang mengurangkan pencemaran, terutamanya pelepasan gas rumah hijau.

Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) menegaskan bahawa inisiatif di sebalik program RIH adalah untuk menggalakkan gaya hidup yang bukan sahaja memberi manfaat kepada bumi, tetapi juga meningkatkan kesihatan fizikal dan kesejahteraan hidup individu, seterusnya melahirkan masyarakat yang lebih produktif.

Antara aktiviti menarik yang dijalankan semasa karnival ini adalah memanah, sepak takraw, larian keluarga ceria, pertandingan mewarna, kutip sampah sambil beriadah, pameran kelestarian alam, dan pameran kenderaan elektrik.

Mempromosikan gaya hidup hijau melibatkan penerapan amalan mesra alam yang mengurangkan impak kepada alam sekitar. Ini termasuk penggunaan teknologi cekap tenaga, langkah-langkah penjimatan air, dan amalan pengurusan sisa yang lestari.

LG Electronics (LG) is launching its latest LG CLOi ServeBot (model LDLIM31), an autonomous, door-type service robot designed to provide safe delivery services in hospitality and healthcare settings.

Featuring a four-door design with ample interior storage space, the CLOi ServeBot can
