Jualan Proton Oktober Meningkat 12.6 Peratus

Pelarasan pasaran automotif pada bulan September berikutan pengenalan Cukai Jualan dan Perkhidmatan (SST), jualan kereta Proton meningkat sebanyak 12.6% pada bulan Oktober.

SEBANYAK 5,093 unit telah dijual, peningkatan sebanyak 569 unit berbanding bulan sebelumnya dan terdapat sedikit peningkatan berbanding dengan tempoh sama pada 2017.

Pegangan pasaran bagi peratusan Jumlah Keseluruhan Industri (TIV) dianggarkan sebanyak 10.7%, seiring dengan purata angka untuk tahun ini.

Peningkatan jualan didorong oleh pelbagai promosi dan penambahbaikan kualiti. Meskipun pegangan pasaran keseluruhan PROTON menurun pada bulan Oktober, jumlah jualan yang dicapai adalah yang tertinggi untuk sepanjang 2018 selain daripada tempoh jualan luar biasa dari Jun sehingga September yang didorong dengan GST berkadar sifar.

Dengan pelancaran Proton X70 hanya berlaku pada akhir tahun ini, titik pertumbuhan menunjukkan minat pelanggan semakin meningkat pada rangkaian kereta sedia ada Proton.

Penerimaan pelanggan telah ditingkatkan oleh polisi harga menarik yang ditawarkan oleh PROTON. Pembeli dapat menikmati harga tanpa SST di mana Syarikat telah menyerap cukai tersebut untuk semua model miliknya.

Ini bermakna tiada perubahan harga walaupun tempoh GST berkadar sifar telah berakhir dan penguatkuasaan SST pada bulan September yang lalu.

“PROTON adalah satu-satunya pengeluar kereta di Malaysia yang melaksanakan polisi harga tanpa SST untuk semua model sedia ada.

“Matlamat kami adalah untuk memberikan nilai yang lebih baik kepada pelanggan dengan menjadikannya lebih mudah untuk memiliki sebuah kereta Proton.

“Justeru itu, bagi dua bulan yang terakhir untuk tahun 2018, kami menawarkan rebat sebanyak RM3,000 serta akan merancakkan lagi aktiviti jelajah dan karnival-karnival untuk memastikan kami dapat mendekati lebih ramai pembeli-pembeli di Malaysia,” kata Abdul Rashid Musa, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif PROTON Edar.

Peningkatan bilangan cawangan 3S dan 4S baharu turut menyumbang kepada peningkatan imej jenama PROTON. Pada akhir Oktober, sebanyak 113 permohonan cawangan telah diluluskan, ia merupakan pencapaian sebanyak 104% berbandingan sasaran asal iaitu 109 cawangan.

QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd (QSR Brands) melalui syarikat pemasaran dan pengedarannya, QSR Trading Sdn Bhd (QSR Trading), menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) dengan syarikat pengeluaran produk pembersih berasaskan teknologi Jepun, Takexco Malaysia Sdn Bhd (TAKEXCO).

Memorandum itu ditandatangani oleh Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azahari Mohamed Kamil, Pengarah Urusan, QSR Brands, dan Takeshi Okada, Pengarah Eksekutif Kanan, Takex Co., Ltd. dalam satu majlis di Hotel Hilton, Petaling Jaya.

Turut hadir ialah Presiden & Ketua Eksekutif Johor Corporation dan Pengerusi QSR Brands, Dato’ Kamaruzzaman Abu Kassim dan Kumi Okada, Pengarah, Takexco Malaysia Sdn Bhd & Presiden Takex Co. Ltd.

Dalam perjanjian antara kedua belah pihak, QSR Trading diberi hak eksklusif untuk menjadi pengedar tunggal kepada produk pembersih ethanol sanitizer pertama di dunia yang bergred makanan dan bersijil Halal di Malaysia dengan perjanjian usahasama penjenamaan.

Kedua-dua produk, (Takex Clean QSR) & (Takex Clean Extra QSR) akan digunakan di 48 Kedai Ayamas di seluruh Malaysia.

The New Mercedes-Benz C-Class Now Comes With High-Grade Materials

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia introduces the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class, a superior vehicle with immaculate design, state-of-the-art safety and assistance systems, superior technology and excellent driving dynamics.

MERCEDES-Benz C-Class has been the most successful model series and now, in its fifth year of production, it boasts a wealth of enhancement.

The new C-Class features the latest Mercedes-Benz driving assistance systems offering the driver cooperative support, and therefore provides a higher level of active safety than its predecessor. The new C-Class family is also being launched with new engines, including the new generation of four-cylinder engines.

Equipped in Avantgarde Line, the Mercedes-Benz C 200 is powered by the new 1.5-litres four-cylinder petrol engine with a powerful starter/alternator combination of 48 volt, introduced as EQ Boost contributing an additional 10 kW (13 hp) that is unique in this segment, for sporty driving pleasure with high efficiency.

This provides a maximum power output of 135 kW (184 hp) bridging the brief moment until the turbocharger builds up it full charge pressure. This boosting is also used to reach the engine’s ideal rpm as quickly as possible during gearshifts.

The shift time of the automatic transmission is shortened as a result. The Mercedes-Benz C 300 AMG Line, on the other hand, now comes with a 2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine which provides a maximum power output of 190 kW (258 hp) and delivers maximum torque of 370 Nm, complementing the 9G-TRONIC transmission that keeps the turbo engine/s power on point.

The V6 biturbo engine of the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC excels with a powerful output together with low consumption and emissions. Installed close to the engine, the two turbochargers are especially spontaneous in their response.

For the new C-Class, the AMG development engineers have increased the output of the 3.0-litre V6 engine by 17 kW (23 hp) to 287 kW (390 hp). The peak torque of 520 Nm is available from 2500 to 5000 rpm.

With the new enhancement, the C 200 now comes with an athletic character with new levels of sophistication. Enhanced with the AVANTGARDE exterior features as a dynamic front bumper with central trim element in high-sheen chrome and air inlets with diamond-pattern mesh in grained black.

With the twin pipe exhaust system in high-gloss chrome at the rear bumper sharpen the sporty appearance of the vehicle.

The new-look C-Class combines emotionality with intelligence. The focus of the redesign work was on the front of the vehicle as well as the design of the headlamps and the rear lamps. Both, the headlamps and rear lamps is defined by clear-lined contours.

Exquisitely crafted details add highlights and underscore the modern character, particular by its sophisticated LED high performance headlamps and rear lamps on the Mercedes-Benz C 200 that enhances the design of the vehicle.

The Mercedes-Benz C 300 and Mercedes-AMG C 43, on the other hand, is equipped with the Multibeam LED headlights system that provides optimum visibility in all conditions.

In terms of interior, the new generation C-Class features high-quality materials and the excellent integration of functional elements with a 12.3-inch digital cockpit – a cutting-edge screen design that offers three different display styles; “Classic”, “Sport” and “Progressive”.

The styles can be switched quickly according to personal tastes or to suit the selected interior. The new high-resolution 10.25-inch media display can be operated with two touch control buttons on the sporty steering wheel.

The touch-sensitive control also responds to swiping motions just like the screen of a smartphone. It enables the driver to control the functions of the instrument cluster and the entire infotainment system without having to take their hands off the steering wheel.

The interior reinforces the dynamic calibre of the new C 43 4MATIC with numerous individual details. Sporty materials such as the AMG performance steering wheel in DINAMICA and aluminium in a high-quality finish continue the expressive exterior design in the interior.

The new generation C-Class comes with Smartphone integration links the mobile phone with the media system via Apple® CarPlay® and Android Auto®. This gives you convenient access to the most important applications of your smartphone.

The new generation C-Class also comes with KEYLESS-GO which enables access and drive authorization even if the key remains in your pocket. All the doors can be unlocked and locked simply by touching the door handle.

Further highlights enrich the feature level of the new C 200 Avantgarde is the Blind Spot Assist. In the speed range from approximately 10 – 200 km/h, this system is able to provide the driver with a visual alert along with an audible warning when a turn indicator is actuated, to warn of a danger of side collisions. It operates not only while driving, but also for up to three minutes after the ignition is switch off.

New in the Mercedes-Benz C 300 and the Mercedes-AMG C 43 is the Active Lane Keeping Assist, a system that is able to warn the driver by means of pulsed vibrations at the steering wheel when the vehicle is unintentionally drifting out of its lane at speeds between 60 and 200 km/h.

If the vehicle passes over a continuous line, it can pull the vehicle back into lane by applying the brakes on one side. In the case of a broken line, such intervention also takes place when there is a danger of collision with a vehicle in the next lane.

NGO Antarabangsa Saran Masyarakat Islam Kemboja Prihatin Golongan Anak Yatim Dan Mualaf

Masyarakat Islam perlu prihatin kepada golongan anak-anak yatim serta mualaf dan penubuhan tabung kebajikan adalah bagi membantu mereka yang tidak mampu menghantar anak-anak mereka ke sekolah.

KETUA NGO Antarabangsa, Datuk Dr Mustapha Ahmad Marican berkata, langkah itu perlu dilakukan bagi membantu kanak kanak terbabit supaya tidak mengalami masalah buta huruf dan menghadapi masa depan yang suram.

Katanya, ini kerana ada yang terpaksa bekerja membantu ibu atau bapa bekerja di sawah, menjual air dan sebagainya bagi menampung kehidupan keluarga.

“Ibu bapa seolah-olah tidak mementingkan pelajaran anak-anak dan ini amat merugikan apabila mereka dewasa.

“Kami tidak mengenakan bayaran dan ia percuma malah kita sering bantu anak-anak yatim, mualaf dan fakir miskin untuk menghantar anak-anak mereka belajar malah kita sering memberi pelbagai kemudahan seperti wang saku, alat tulis, buku dan pakaian.

Ultimate Ducati Experience At MotoGP 2018

Ducati owners and Ducati Malaysia specially invited guests were given the ultimate Ducati experience of a lifetime at the Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Pix (Sepang GP) 2018 with a full line-up of exciting activities including a Meet and Greet session with the Ducati Corse team.

INVITED guests and lucky Grandstand winners of the Ducati Ride and Win contest were star struck, grinning from ear to ear as they shook the hands of their idols; world class racers Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo during the Ducati Meet and Greet Session at the Ducati booth.

KFC Malaysia sekali lagi mempertahankan kedudukan teratas sebagai jenama #1 pilihan ramai, diumumkan di dalam malam berprestij yang berlangsung di Hotel Majestic.

Sebanyak 148 anugerah telah dipersembahkan termasuk tiga anugerah khas Ikon jenama Putra, di dalam majlis yang dihadiri oleh lebih 1,300 tetamu terdiri daripada barisan kepimpinan syarikat jenama terkemuka, pegawai-pegawai pemasaran serta agensi-agensi.

“Ianya merupakan sebuah detik yang amat membanggakan buat KFC Malaysia apabila dianugerahkan dengan anugerah Emas kali keempat berturut-turut sekali gus dinobatkan sebagai Ikon Jenama Putra.

“Kami telah menghidangkan detik–detik istimewa KFC buat rakyat Malaysia sejak 1973. Segala kerja keras dan minat mendalam yang didukung dengan strategi dan inovasi berterusan serta kecemerlangan perkhidmatan telah membuahkan kami pengiktirafan ini.

“Semua ini merupakan bukti sokongan dan pengiktirafan daripada para pelanggan kami,” kata Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azahari Mohamed Kamil, Pengarah Urusan QSR Brands.

“Pencapaian pada malam ini bukanlah sesuatu yang dikecapi secara serta-merta. Hanya dengan kerjasama 18,000 warga kerja restoran kami, dapat kami membekalkan pengalaman pelanggan yang terbaik.

“Saya pasti pasukan restoran dan sokongan akan lebih bersemangat dengan pencapaian cemerlang pada malam ini kerana tiada apa yang lebih membanggakan daripada menerima pengiktirafan daripada para pelanggan kami sendiri,” katanya.

Tahun 2018 merupakan tahun yang cemerlang buat jenama KFC. Proses transformasi digital sedang dijalankan dan KFC bakal terus mengoptimumkan aset digitalnya sebagai sebahagian daripada usaha untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan secara keseluruhan.

Tahun ini menyaksikan pelancaran aplikasi telefon mudah alih KFC Malaysia serta ‘chatbot’ untuk menawarkan lebih kemudahan kepada para pelanggan untuk memesan penghantaran KFC terus ke pintu rumah.

Jenama ini sedang mengukuhkan lagi perkhidmatan penghantaran melalui perjanjian-perjanjian kerjasama strategik bersama penyedia perkhidmatan penghantaran atas talian terkemuka.

KFC Malaysia turut mengekalkan momentum di dalam langkah perluasan jenamanya ke seluruh negara. Baru-baru ini, KFC telah melancarkan restoran ke-700 di Bandar Seri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan yang dirasmikan oleh CEO Yum! Brands Inc., Greg Creed.

Dilancarkan pada tahun 2010, anugerah Putra Brand merupakan sebuah inisiatif oleh Persatuan Ejen-ejen Pengiklanan Bertauliah Malaysia (4As) bagi mengiktiraf jenama tempatan dan antarabangsa yang paling dekat di hati rakyat Malaysia, dengan menilai jenama mengikut pilihan terbaik pelanggan.

Anugerah ini merupakan satu-satunya anugerah yang disahkan oleh Perbadanan Pembangunan Perdagangan Luar Malaysia (MATRADE) dan berdasarkan pilihan orang ramai.

AirAsia Goes Local In First Bintulu Cabin Crew Recruitment Drive

AirAsia held its first cabin crew recruitment involving the local community that saw candidates take part in traditional Iban activities.

AT the RH Jangu longhouse in Ladong Tahir, candidates engaged with members of the local Iban community to string beaded necklaces, tie cangkuk manis bundles, knit fishing nets, weave rattan mats, baskets and hats as well as play traditional musical instruments for taboh ngajat.

The group activity was the second stage of evaluation for candidates who were shortlisted from the cabin crew recruitment drive at Parkcity Everly Hotel recently, the first ever such exercise held in Bintulu.

Bintulu Member of Parliament Dato’ Sri Tiong King Sing said, “I commend AirAsia’s effort in holding cabin crew recruitment drive to the coastal town of Bintulu, opening job opportunities for the locals.

This shows AirAsia’s strong commitment to Sarawak in making the state an important regional aviation hub.”

AirAsia Malaysia CEO Riad Asmat said, “The assessment was held at the longhouse so that the candidates could get a feel for the day-to-day lives of the local community, while at the same time allowing us to evaluate their people skills.”

He said the recruitment drive was part of AirAsia’s efforts to further develop talent from the different communities in East Malaysia and offer opportunities for youth to pursue a career with the airline.

Riad added: “We welcome everyone from all walks of life, who are passionate, enthusiastic and determined. Come join us and let’s paint the skies red together.”
