OYO Launches New Hotels In Senawang And Puchong

OYO Hotels recently added two new properties in Malaysia – OYO 498 D&F Boutique Hotel in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan and OYO 502 Midah Inn in Puchong, Selangor

OYO Hotels, South Asia’s largest and world’s fastest growing chain of hotels, homes and living spaces has cemented its already burgeoning position in Malaysia with the announcement of two new hotels in the market, namely OYO 498 D&F Boutique Hotel in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan and OYO 502 Midah inn in Puchong, Selangor.

Widening OYO’s presence in the state of Negeri Sembilan, OYO 498 D&F Boutique Hotel was recently launched by Rasah Member of Parliament, Cha Kee Chin in the presence of Ryan Yong, Head of Business Development for OYO Hotels in Malaysia.

Located in the industrial and commercial center in Senawang, OYO 498 D&F Boutique hotel offers nightly rooms at rates starting at RM70. This is aimed at drawing occupancy derived from business and out-of-town travelers, owing to the booming industry and commerce in the vicinity, known for the manufacturing of semiconductors, electronic parts, heavy industries and more.

“The opening of OYO 498 D&F Boutique Hotel certainly marks a step in the right direction towards the growth of the economy and development of Senawang and its greater vicinity.

Once known as a small satellite township, this area has certainly grown in leaps and bounds in recent times and tandem with this growth; we certainly applaud the move by OYO to further invest in Negeri Sembilan.

As a full-stack hospitality chain, OYO’s business model of onboarding independent, local budget hotel owners, on franchise and lease agreements, certainly bodes well for SME players towards the growth of Malaysia’s hospitality industry.

Meanwhile, located in the 52-acre development of Puchong Gateway, slated to be the next major commercial hub in the thriving town of Puchong, OYO 502 Midah Inn is set amidst business, dining, retail, recreation and lifestyle developments, and infrastructure.

The hotel, with rooms starting at RM65 per night, offers excellent connectivity to guests via the Damansara Puchong Expressway (LDP), NKVE, KESAS, SKVE, and the KL – Putrajaya Highway, easing access to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Sunway City, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, and KLIA.

Notable attractions nearby are IOI Mall in Puchong and Sunway Lagoon theme park. Having set up operations in Malaysia barely a year ago, OYO Hotels is already shaping up to be one of the most potent and successful hospitality brands to emerge in the last decade, shaking things up by creating a unique business model with a solid foundation that harnesses technology and talent to synergise hospitality and real estate to drive the end result – quality, accessible living spaces at relatively low cost to the end consumer.

OYO Hotels is looking to chart greater heights by expanding into the Southeast Asian market, with Malaysia having significant prominence by the company, being a key market for its expansion, with a highly localized approach to building its business here.

The brand currently operates more than 150 properties across all major cities in Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Johor, and Melaka, resulting in a variety of quality and affordable stay options to international tourists and domestic travelers. Recently, the brand has moved beyond properties in major Malaysian cities and is as committed to developing properties in satellite towns and cities.

Our aim is simple: to build OYO properties in just about every nook and cranny in Malaysia – even small towns, as is the case with our recent openings in Puchong and Senawang.

Our goal is that anyone and everyone can have easy access to an OYO property anytime, anywhere and at very, very affordable rates with room prices starting from as low as RM49 a night,” explains Ryan Yong, Head of Business Development, OYO Hotels, Malaysia.

As with the new OYO properties in Puchong and Senawang, every OYO Hotels asset owner gets access to OYO’s advanced technology, that helps improve operational efficiency, as well as reduce costs, achieve staff efficiency and save time.

All transactions at its hotels, such as check-ins, check-outs, audits of the toiletries in the room, are executed through OYO’s app loaded on a tablet.

Our promises are the same everywhere – rooms with working air conditioning, spotless linen, free WiFi, television, 24/7 support, and a ‘book now, pay later’ option, and guests will undoubtedly find this at any OYO branded property,” added, Yong.

Those looking to book a room in any OYO property, including OYO 498 D&F Boutique and OYO 502 Midah inn can do so by downloading the OYO app available on Google Play and Apple App’s store or by logging on to www.oyorooms.com/my.
