ASUS announced VivoBook Ultra K403, a compact ultraportable with an overall weight of just 1.3kg, militarygrade durability, and up to an incredible 24 hours of battery life.
It features a four-sided NanoEdge display with a 4.1mmthin bezel and astounding 87% screentobody ratio for an immersive viewing experience.
This clever NanoEdge display design keeps dimensions down to a minimum, giving VivoBook Ultra K403 a footprint that’s noticeably smaller than its predecessor. VivoBook Ultra K403 also meets the demanding MIL-STD-810G military standard for durability and reliability.
VivoBook Ultra K403 has a 4-cell, 72Wh battery that provides up to an amazing 24 hours of battery life. So users can work anywhere without having to carry around a power adaptor. And when the battery does get low, integrated ASUS Battery Health Charging technology helps protect the battery from overcharging, prolonging its lifespan and reducing the chances of damage from swelling to keep it in tip-top condition.
VivoBook Ultra K403 is extremely compact and portable, with a 16.5mm profile and overall weight of just 1.3kg. The four-sided NanoEdge display design also results in a much smaller footprint compared to its predecessor, so it slips easily into a messenger bag or backpack.
VivoBook Ultra K403 has an all-metal chassis that’s available in Silver Blue for a classic, sophisticated look, or with the stylish and flamboyant Petal Pink hue offering a more eye-catching option.
Despite its compact and lightweight design, VivoBook Ultra K403 meets the demanding MIL-STD-810G military standard for durability and reliability, undergoing a punishing test regime that includes extended tests for operation in harsh environments including extreme altitudes, temperature, and humidity. It has also passed internal ASUS laptop tests that far exceed the standards set by the industry.
