“Ia amat menakutkan. Amyr masih bayi, manakala Amyra (anak sulung) pula masih mempunyai perjalanan yang jauh dengan persekolahannya. Saya sering bertanya pada diri sendiri: siapa akan jaga mereka kalau saya tidak mampu?” kongsinya.
Dengan azam yang tinggi, Nik memulakan perjalanan untuk menjaga kesihatannya di dalam bulan Ramadhan pada tahun 2020. Beliau berjaya menurunkan berat badan sebanyak 8 kg dengan berjalan di atas treadmill setiap hari – meskipun ditemani air mata dan lutut yang sakit.

Festival Filem dan Anugerah Antarabangsa ASEAN (AIFFA) 2025 bakal kembali dengan edisi ketujuh yang dijadual berlangsung di Kuching, Sarawak dari 12 hingga 15 November 2025.
Delegasi dan peminat filem akan disajikan dengan pelbagai aktiviti berkaitan dunia perfileman yang akan memuncak pada Malam Gala AIFFA, di mana filem-filem terbaik daripada 10 negara ASEAN akan bersaing merebut trofi AIFFA yang berprestij.
Pengarah Festival AIFFA, Livan Tajang berkata, festival yang mula dianjurkan pada tahun 2013 ini menghimpunkan kira-kira 300 penggiat industri perfileman Asia Tenggara, termasuk penerbit, pengarah, pelakon serta kru di ibu negeri Sarawak.
AIFFA kini menjadi platform penting untuk para pembikin filem membina jaringan, meneroka perkembangan industri kreatif terkini serta meraikan malam anugerah yang penuh gemilang.
Katanya, sebanyak 200 penyertaan filem telah diterima daripada negara-negara ASEAN dengan Malaysia mendahului sebanyak 90 penyertaan, diikuti oleh Indonesia dan Filipina.
“AIFFA 2025 memperkenalkan Anugerah Dokumentari Borneo, sebuah trek pertandingan baharu yang memberi penghormatan kepada penceritaan bukan fiksyen yang berakar umbi di Borneo dan Malaysia Timur.
