Haier today announced its strategy, business direction and targets for 2025 as well as reviewed progress made in 2024 in Malaysia towards its ambition of being the leading appliance brand in the nation.
This was made during the brand’s Southeast Asia Dealer Conference, held in Malaysia for the first time, signifying the country’s importance to Haier. The event brought together 600
delegates from eight countries, who were feted to local cuisine, cultural performances, and a sightseeing tour, contributing to Malaysia’s tourism and hospitality sector.
In reviewing its performance, Haier Malaysia announced that it achieved its projected 40%
overall growth for 2024 ahead of the holiday period. All the Haier product categories
experienced robust growth, with air conditioners sales rising a spectacular 47% year-on-year (YOY) followed by televisions (38%), washing machines (37%) and refrigerators (35%).
The brand has been actively engaging with dealers locally and also customers, obtaining
feedback and providing home appliances that align with modern preferences as well as
initiatives to reduce energy consumption.
Building on this momentum, Haier has lined up several new models for Malaysia in 2025,
headlined by room air conditioners. In addition, Haier has also set sights on extending its
market position across multiple categories by introducing a wider range of models and variants to fit diverse customer needs.
Haier is now the no.1 room air conditioner brand in Malaysia (GfK report, June 2024) and aims to become the absolute market leader for home appliances in the country. Haier Malaysia Managing Director Fan Jing said, “Our strong performance in 2024 reaffirms

Perodua telah memperkenalkan evolusi prototaip kenderaan bateri elektriknya yang dikenali sebagai eMO-II (disebut sebagai M-O-2) di Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2024 (KLIMS 2024).
“Prototaip ini adalah kesinambungan perjalanan pembuatan kereta elektrik (EV) kami yang mana teknologinya kami cipta sendiri dari awal. eMO-II telah ditambahbaik daripada model prototaip terdahulu dari segi penggayaan dan ciri-cirinya, menjadikannya lebih sempurna dan bersedia menuju masa depan EV kami,” kata Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Perodua, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad semasa sesi pelancaran eMO-II di sini.
Prototaip terbaharu ini mempunyai penggayaan yang lebih kemas yang mana ia menggabungkan ciri estetik abad ke-21 dengan keunikan Malaysia. Reka bentuk kereta berkenaan dibuat berdasarkan elemen songket yang digabungkan dengan lampu LED bagi melengkapi keseluruhan rekaannya.
“Ingin saya ingatkan bahawa ini adalah model prototaip dan ada lebih banyak ciri-ciri dan penambahbaikan yang akan dimasukkan pada produk akhir kami yang bakal diperkenalkan tidak lama lagi,” katanya.
Projek EV berkenaan dibangunkan sepenuhnya secara dalaman oleh Jabatan Penyelidikan dan Pembangunan Perodua pada 2023.
“Walaupun proses pembelajaran yang dilalui agak singkat, kami dapat menguasai pembuatan EV dengan lebih baik hasil kerjasama beberapa perunding yang dilantik.
“Suka untuk saya katakan di sini bahawa kami telah berjaya memenuhi garis masa yang ditetapkan, seterusnya boleh meneruskan penceritaan mengenai EV kami di sini, hari ini.
“Kami amat teruja untuk berkongsi cerita dengan anda semua dan kami akan terus
memberikan perkembangan selanjutnya di masa akan datang,” katanya.
Zainal berkata, Perodua juga bekerjasama dengan beberapa organisasi korporat tempatan untuk memastikan pelanggannya mendapat akses mobiliti yang lebih baik.

Red Bull Malaysia (Red Bull), jenama minuman tenaga No.1 negara, baru-baru ini menganjurkan majlis makan malam penghargaan eksklusif bagi meraikan kecemerlangan Pasukan 31 Racing, Pasukan Maju Motor Racing dan Pasukan CKJ Racing.
Majlis tersebut, yang menghimpunkan barisan pasukan lumba itu bersama tetamu terhormat daripada Safe Aim Mutual Sdn Bhd, menandakan tamatnya Kejohanan PETRONAS MAM Malaysian Cub Prix 2024.
