As gaming continues to evolve across competitive esports, immersive open-world adventures and content creation, gamers are increasingly seeking displays that can deliver both exceptional visual quality and ultra-fast performance. With newer titles demanding higher refresh rates, larger screens and greater realism, display technology has become a critical part of the overall gaming experience.
To meet these evolving demands, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has unveiled its new 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup at Gamescom 2026, introducing a range of next-generation displays that push the boundaries of speed, screen size and picture quality.
The lineup includes several world-first innovations, such as the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9, the world’s first 49-inch DQHD OLED gaming monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate, the Odyssey OLED G7, the world’s first 42-inch 16:9 curved OLED gaming monitor, and the Odyssey G6, which delivers an industry-leading refresh rate of up to 1,100Hz.
Samsung also announced plans to expand its HDR10+ GAMING ecosystem to more than 20 AAA game titles by the first half of 2027, including a collaboration with Activision Blizzard for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4.
