The Predator League 2022 Malaysia is back in offline format in ESI Hub, Spacerubix and lifting the shield physically at the finals were Team RSG for Dota 2 and Team SGD for
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.

These champions out-strategised and out-played other teams to take home RM11,000 in cash and Predator gaming chairs as Champions.

Adding to their bragging rights is they have now booked their seats to battle it out in Japan in the 15-country-and-territory Asia Pacific Predator League 2022. These two winning teams will have a chance to bring home a share of the $400,000 prize pool and the coveted APAC Predator League Shield.

Team RSG, consisting of Wong “mks” Sim An, Ng “xsilearn” Anwei, Lee “X1aOyu” Qian Yu, Trần “xiaobonbon” Hoàng Minh Quý, and Roger Tan “Roddgee” Boon Thye, emerged the firm winner when they defeated Atlantis a second time with the final score of 3-2.

Atlantis had lost 2-1 to Team RSG in the upper bracket finals and put up a tough fight to win the lower bracket finals. All in, Atlantis played a marathon of a total of 11 matches back-to-back, showcasing their dedication and perseverance.

However,the shield belongs to Team RSG who had better strategy and play. Meanwhile, Anderson “Shen” Chong,Alex Tan “Sophiya” Boon Keung, Wong “Jervis” Jervis, Tan “IAMPETE” Chun Chou, and Lee “DreamsYr” Jing Horng of Team SGD claimed their Winner Winner Chicken Dinner in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS with their teamwork and accuracy.

Joining them in the Grand Finals in Japan are the team that took second place, Team Setup, consisting of Muhammad Shafiq Ridzuan “Apikk” Mohd Azmi, Mohd Fikri “Km0N” Abd Jalil, Muhammad Asraf “Zosvatek” Mohd Malek, and Muhammad Iqmal Hafiz “MalDKendrix”  Abdullah.

Team Setup also brought home a total of RM7,500 in cash and Predator Galea 350 gaming headphones.

Battling it out in Japan under the Malaysian flag also is Team SMG, comprising Yeik ‘MidOne’ Nai Zheng, Kam ‘MooN’ Boon Seng, Daryl ‘iceiceice’ Koh Pei Xiang, Tue ‘ah fu’ Soon Chuan, and Wilson ‘poloson’ Koh Chin Wei.

Team SMG’s participation in the Asia Pacific Predator League Grand Finals in Japan is at the invitation of Predator Gaming Malaysia.

After close to three years of online tournaments, the return of the Asia Pacific Predator League came hot on the heels of a number of high-profile tournaments in the region. It reignites the excitement of battling it out in the same venue for the bragging rights.

A total of 48 teams signed-up for Dota 2 and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS in the Predator League Malaysia Qualifier 2022.

The Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 Grand Finals will be held on 11 – 13 November 2022 in Japan where teams from 15 countries and territories across Asia Pacific will battle it out over three days of expected intense play.
