PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) launched the Mesra-Visa Kasih Bonanza Campaign in partnership with leading global payments technology company, Visa, offering prizes worth RM1 million in the form of cash and Mesra points to over 1,000 lucky winners.

Every month from 1 September 2021 until 31 January 2022, two grand prize winners will each take home RM50,000 in cash, while 60 first prize winners will win RM1,000 in cash. On top of cash prizes, 200 monthly winners will be rewarded with 20,000 Mesra points worth RM200.

To participate, customers need to spend a minimum of RM40 at any PETRONAS station or Kedai Mesra in a single receipt and in three separate transactions within the same month to be in the running for the first and monthly prizes; or spend a cumulative of RM300 within the same month for a chance to win the grand prize.

Customers who use their Visa credit/debit cards or the Setel app can gain 2X entries; or gain 4X entries if they transact using Visa credit/debit cards via CardTerus on the Setel app.

Speaking about the campaign, Khalil Muri, PDB Head of Retail Business said, “We are always on the lookout for new partnerships to enhance our offerings and reward our customers.

Our collaboration with Visa this year enables us to run the campaign over five months and offer meaningful prizes to more monthly winners, aside from the grand and first prize category prizes. We look forward to continuously bring joy to our customers during these trying times.”

PDB is also introducing two other rewards for this year’s campaign. As a token of appreciation, an exclusive prize of additional RM500 in cash will be given to front-liners battling the COVID-19 pandemic when they win in any of the categories.

In support of the national vaccination programme, customers who upload a screenshot of their vaccination appointment or digital certificate will receive a bonus of 4X entries or 8X entries if they have added a Visa credit/debit card to their Setel account for the First and Monthly Prize categories.

PDB also encourages its customers to download and use the Setel app, as it is a safer payment method that not only minimises physical contact but also increases their chances of winning when they take part in the campaign. The app also allows them to easily donate to PDB’s Food Bank Programme to lend a helping hand to those struggling during this challenging time.
