What else is there to say? In conjunction with Labour Day on May 1, we pay tribute to Sapura which is growing leaps and bounds to become one of the world’s top oil and gas players as well as its already solid reputation as a caring employer sensitive to needs of its workers which are toiling hard all over the world.

It is obvious that Sapura takes good care of its workers and this is all due to the caring nature of its President and Group Chief Executive Officer Tan Sri Shahril Shamsuddin.

Due to Shahril’s wisdom, Sapura was bestowed as company of the year at the Asia Pacific Energy Awards in January 2019 in the energy services offshore and marine category.

And now, Sapura has yet again proved its mettle as the company that cares by bagging the Malaysia Best Employer Brand Award 2019 which is a testament of the company’s sterling commitment towards its workers welfare.

It was a proud moment for Sapura as the company convinced the top juries which consist senior leaders, researchers and academicians such as Professor Indira Parikh, former dean of IIM, Dr Arun Arora, former president and chief executive officer of the Economic Times and Dr R.L. Bhatia founder World CSR Day and World Sustainability.

An analyst from Public Investment Bank said the award was not surprising as Sapura is known for its best human resource strategy and talent management as it employs workers from over 35 nationalities which is no mean feat to manage and supervise.
