RHB Waives Instant Transfer Fees On RHB Now Online Banking

RHB Banking Group (RHB) has announced zero fee for Instant Transfer made by individuals and sole proprietor businesses via RHB Now Online Banking (www.rhbgroup.com) platform.

THIS is in-line with Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) efforts to drive cashless payment systems and reduce traditional payment modes. BNM recently announced that effective 1 July, 2018, the Instant Transfer fee of RM0.50 will be waived for payments of up to RM5,000 per transaction by individuals and SMEs. RHB has made this waiver available since 18 May 2018.

“Through this waiver of Instant Transfer fees, we are confident that more consumers and sole proprietorship businesses will opt for digital payments, creating an agile and digitally-driven economy in Malaysia.

With this in place, we also hope to offer customers more value-added interactions and deliver superior customer experience,” said Nazri Othman, Acting Head for Group Retail Banking, RHB Banking Group.

“Over the last 2 years, we have recorded a 70% increase of Instant Transfer transactions,” added Nazri.

The waiver of the Instant Transfer fee has been launched on the back of RHB’s latest “RHB e-Duit Raya” campaign held from 1 – 30 June 2018, themed “Give for Good”, in which the Group will be donating 10% out of the total RHB e-Duit Raya transactions to 4 charitable homes.

These homes include Pertubuhan Kebajikan Asnaf Al Barakh Malaysia, Rumah Penyayang Nur Iman, Persatuan Rumah Perlindungan Teratak Nur Insan Kuala Lumpur & Selangor (NURI), and Rumah Jagaan & Rawatan Orang Tua Al-Ikhlas Puchong.

With more than 3 million customers and total assets of RM76.3 billion, Group Retail Banking is the biggest business division within the Group, and also the largest contributor to the Group’s top and bottom lines.

For the financial year ended Dec 31, 2017, Group Retail Banking recorded robust loans and deposits growth of 9% and 7.6% respectively which outpaced industry.

Group Retail Banking offers both conventional and Shariah-approved housing financing, auto financing, ASB financing and other personal financing as well as credit card, payment, current and savings account, fixed deposit, investment and insurance products to individual customers.

AirAsia Alu-Alukan Pihak Berminat Bina LCCT

AirAsia mengalu-alukan cadangan pembangunan terminal penerbangan tambang murah (LCCT) di Sepang daripada mana-mana pihak, sama ada tempatan atau asing.

PENGERUSI Eksekutif AirAsia Group Berhad dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan AirAsia X, Datuk Kamarudin Meranun berkata, mana-mana pihak, sama ada individu, kerajaan negeri malah Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), boleh mengemukakan cadangan.

“Sebagai penyokong kuat LCCT, syarikat penerbangan ini akan bekerja dengan mana-mana pihak yang boleh membina terminal tambang murah untuk mereka,” katanya.

“AirAsia semacam sudah berputus asa untuk memiliki lapangan terbang. Syarikat penerbangan ini sudah berpindah ke empat lapangan terbang sejak AirAsia memulakan operasi, dan ia tidak seperti berpindah rumah,” katanya selepas melancarkan penajaan bersama AirAsia-Alisports ASEAN World Electronic Sports Games di ibu pejabat AirAsia di sini.

Kamarudin diminta mengulas kenyataan Menteri Pengangkutan, Anthony Loke Siew Fook, yang mana sebarang cadangan untuk membangunkan terminal penerbangan tambang murah bersebelahan Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur perlu mengemukakannya semula sebagai cadangan baharu kerana cadangan sebelum ini yang dikemukakan tahun lalu adalah kepada kerajaan terdahulu.

Menurut laporan media, Citaglobal Airports Sdn Bhd, melalui Pengarahnya, Datuk Seri Mohamad Norza Zakaria, mencadangkan kepada bekas Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, melalui surat bertarikh 24 November, 2017, pembinaan LCCT baharu yang boleh memuatkan lebih ramai bilangan penumpang, terutama dengan kewujudan Zon Perdagangan Bebas Digital.

Committed to supporting this growth by nurturing globally certified talent, the Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) Training Academy recently celebrated the graduation of its newest group of apprentices from its Automotive Mechatronic Training programme.

Addressing parents and graduates at the MBM Training Academy graduation ceremony, MBM President and CEO, Dr Claus Weidner said, “The development of our nation’s youth and providing them with a bright career path continues to be a passion for us at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.

We are very proud to see our young talents transform from trainees into globally certified technicians. These graduates form the foundation of our network and enable us to deliver the Best Customer Experience, an assurance that all Mercedes-Benz customers and fans have come to trust.

A total of 26 apprentices graduated from the MBM Training Academy this year. Todate, no fewer than 827 globally certified apprentices have passed through its doors since the establishment of training programs locally.

During the ceremony, all 26 graduates received three certifications; the Mercedes-Benz Automotive Mechatronic Training Certificate; the Mercedes-Benz Qualified Maintenance Technician Certificate; and the National Dual Training System (NDTS) Certificate, which is equivalent to the Malaysia Skills Certificate Level 3, a certification recognised by the Department of Skills Development under the Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia.

Recognising outstanding talent, the MBM Training Academy presented the Class of 2018 Best Student Award to Wong Shiong Heng. The 23 year-old from Negeri Sembilan was affirmed for his outstanding achievement over the three-year training period in the areas of academics, performance, attendance and attitude.

Thrilled to be donning the silver-star as a certified apprentice, Wong shared his thoughts on his achievement and experience. “I was surprised when I heard my name called out for the Best Student Award.

I feel that all the effort I put in has paid off. When I first started the course, I found the teaching method very different from what I have experienced in the past. The course emphasised heavily on attitude, punctuality and discipline.

I took it as a challenge, I persevered and my hard work paid off. I am thankful for the support of my family, trainers and peers.  They have all contributed to helping me achieve the Best Student Award,” said Wong.

Following the completion of a three-year training programme, the apprentices will be absorbed into MBM’s extensive network of Autohauses and service centres nationwide.

With a variety of career opportunities available, an example of a possible career progression could include apprentices begining their career as a Qualified System Technician, and possibly be promoted to a Certified Diagnosis Technician or Certified Service Advisor.

“The formal education phase may have ended with the graduation ceremony, however learning never stops which is why we continue to provide up-skilling courses throughout the career path of our people in line with our life-long learning philosophy.

Further professional development have seen our graduates obtain the C-management certification and move on to become workshop managers, senior managers and dealer principles in the network or even pursue management roles at the Mercedes-Benz Malaysia headquarters,” shared Dr Weidner.

The Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Training Academy began to take in 60 trainees per year starting in 2017 over a three-year programme, the new Advanced Modern Apprenticeship.

Based on training guidelines set by Daimler AG, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, the Training Academy maintains a trainee ratio of one trainer to 15 trainees to ensure optimum quality in the delivery of its modules.

The three-year course comprises a 70 percent practical-based curriculum, which includes 30 per cent on-the-job-training, and 30 per cent theory-based curriculum. Trainees are exposed to a wide range of skills including presentation, analysing, decision making, system thinking, mentoring, self-discipline and team work skills to prepare them for the working world.

In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya holidays, with many planning a long drive back to their families or for a getaway, MICHELIN would like to ensure your tyres are in the best condition on the road.

A MICHELIN branded truck will be making rounds throughout Klang Valley providing FREE tyre checks, including air pressure and overall tyre condition, from 11am to 8pm daily.

Perodua terus komited terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, alam sekitar dengan piawaian ISO terkini

Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) dan anak syarikat sepenuhnya Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd telah diperakui secara rasmi oleh SIRIM dengan versi terkini 2015 ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) piawaian 9001 dan 14001, menekankan komitmen syarikat terhadap kepuasan pelangggan dan tanggungjawab kepada alam sekitar.

Untuk mendapatkan pensijilan ISO 9001, sesebuah organisasi harus mematuhi piawaian kualiti terbaik di dalam proses kerja mereka, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan dalam setiap aspek.

Sementara itu, ISO 14001 pula lebih  menumpukan kepada piawaian alam sekitar.

Turut hadir ialah Pengarah Urusan SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd, Mohd Azanuddin Salleh yang menyampaikan sijil kepada Pengarah Urusan Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd, Dato’ Dr Zahari Husin.

Perodua mula melaksanakan piawaian ISO pada 1998. ISO 9001 telah diperluaskan ke cawangan jualan dan pusat servis Perodua secara berperingkat sejak 2005, bagi menyeragamkan pengalaman pelanggan (Customer Experience) di seluruh negara. Kini, semua cawangan Perodua telah diperakui ISO.

Sejak permulaan, Perodua telah berjaya menjalani satu penaiktarafan ISO 14001 dan tiga penaiktarafan ISO 9001, termasuk pensijilan hari ini yang merangkumi 39 cawangan jualan dan 55 pusat servis di seluruh negara, termasuk 35 jabatan di Ibu Pejabat Perodua.

“Kami akan memastikan rakan-rakan niaga dan para pembekal kami mematuhi amalan hijau seperti yang dikehendaki dalam piawaian ISO, termasuk dari segi mendapatkan sumber bahan yang lebih mesra alam,” katanya.

Selain memastikan kepuasan pelanggan dan pengurusan alam sekitar ke tahap yang lebih tinggi, pelaksanaan ISO juga telah membawa kepada penambahbaikan dalam proses dan komunikasi dalaman Perodua, termasuk proses penghantaran kepada pelanggan.

RHB Launches Malaysia’s First Online Financing For SMES

RHB Banking Group (RHB) introduces a revolutionary online platform, RHB SME Financing, targeted at Malaysia’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

THIS first-of-its-kind SME Financing online platform will position RHB as a forerunner in the digital banking space for SMEs in the country.

RHB SME Financing presents a simple, fast and seamless loan application experience with a user-friendly interface which enables customers to apply for SME term loans online within 10 minutes with minimal data inputs, and obtain financing within 5 working days.

Only two documents are required to be uploaded to start the loan application. An online loan simulator is also available to assist customers to calculate their affordability. In addition, tracking of the application can be done through the status dashboard on the RHB SME Financing platform.

The online platform offers SME term loans with a minimum tenure of 6 months, up to 24 months for disbursements of between RM50,000 and RM300,000. SMEs with an annual turnover of less than RM35 million are eligible to apply for the term loan online with minimal documents required.

Customers can now apply for term loans without having to meet the Relationship Manager face-to-face at the application stage. Today, RHB launched its pilot run for the Klang Valley and will subsequently roll this out nationwide by the third quarter of this year.

Malaysia have approximately 900,000 SMEs in the country out of which close to 20% are customers of RHB, giving RHB an SME market share of 9% in 2017.

“RHB SME Financing online platform provides SMEs with simple and fast term loans at competitive rates, with no collateral required, in an effort to empower SMEs to manage and grow their businesses as well as fund their working capital needs.

Perodua terima tempahan fleet 1,000 unit bagi perkhidmatan ride-hailing, ride-sharing yang beroperasi di Malaysia

PERODUA telah menerima tempahan 1,000 unit Bezza dan Axia, pembelian fleet pertama bagi perkhidmatan ride-hailing dan ride-sharing.

“Kami dengan sukacitanya mengumumkan bahawa sebuah syarikat perkhidmatan ride-hailing dan sebuah syarikat perkhidmatan ride-sharing yang beroperasi di Malaysia telah menempah 1,000 unit Axia dan Bezza,” kata Pengarah Urusan Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd, Dato’ Dr Zahari Husin.

Beliau berkata, jualan fleet kepada syarikat-syarikat tersebut amat penting buat Perodua kerana ia membuka pasaran baharu buat syarikat kereta kompak itu.

“Ini merupakan tanda kepercayaan syarikat-syarikat tersebut kepada kenderaan kami yang berkualiti, selamat serta mempunyai kos operasi yang rendah,” katanya.

“Perkembangan perkhidmatan ride-hailing dan ride-sharing di Malaysia telah merevolusikan pengangkutan bagi rakyat Malaysia.

Secara keseluruhan, lebih 300,000 Axia dan 100,000 Bezza telah dijual sejak pelancaran masing-masing pada 2014 dan 2016. Kedua-duanya merupakan Kenderaan Cekap Tenaga (EEV) yang telah diperakui kerajaan dan menguasai segmen kenderaan masing-masing sejak pelancarannya.

Unique Tailor Made Specification For The Ferrari 488 Pista

A tribute to the FIA World Endurance Championship world titles exclusively for client racing drivers

IN occasion of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Prancing Horse is launching a unique ‘Piloti Ferrari’ specification for the Ferrari 488 Pista.

This special custom creation, the latest from the exclusive Tailor Made programme, was designed to recognise the success of clients who race Ferraris and will make its debut on the eve of the legendary French endurance race at the Circuit de la Sarthe.

Inspired by AF Corse’s no. 51 car, with which Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado won the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ titles, this special finish for the new Ferrari 488 Pista is available exclusively for customers involved in the company’s motor sports programmes.

The exterior features a new livery with stripes in the colours of the Italian flag recalling the racing version of the 488 GTE, embellished by a laurel celebrating the WEC title, the logo of the championship and the word “PRO” indicating the class the car raced in.

The Italian flag livery features again along the car’s flanks which are also adorned with the personal race number each client will be able to add. The version that will be unveiled at Le Mans carries the number 51 used by the world championship drivers.

The matte black S-Duct and the natural carbon-fibre ‘dovetail’ suspended rear spoiler and vent surrounds round off the personalisation of the exterior.

The ‘Piloti Ferrari’ 488 Pista will be available in four different colours inspired by the world of racing: Rosso Corsa, Blu Tour De France, Nero Daytona and Argento Nürburgring.

The interior, in black Alcantara®, includes seats upholstered with a special perforated version of the same material that incorporates the Italian flag in the central band of the backrest.

The national colours are also clearly visible on the edge of the gearshift paddles and on the floormats which, like the carpeting itself, are made of a special technical fabric. The number that features on the external livery also appears on the base of the steering wheel, while all the carbon-fibre trim parts have a matte finish.

The personalisation of the interior is completed by an exclusive identification plate and sill trim in carbon-fibre, the latter with the Tailor Made logo.

The ‘Piloti Ferrari’ 488 Pista is powered by the latest 720-cv version of the 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 which has been voted best engine in the world for the third consecutive year at the 2018 International Engine of the Year Awards.
