Netapp Malaysia Melancarkan Sistem Storan EF-Series Baharu

NetApp Malaysia telah memperkenalkan generasi baharu sistem storan EF-Seriesnya dengan memperkenalkan model EF50 dan EF80 yang disasarkan untuk menyokong beban kerja berprestasi tinggi seperti kecerdasan buatan, pengkomputeran berprestasi tinggi dan pangkalan data transaksional.

Syarikat infrastruktur data pintar berkata, sistem baharu tersebut direka untuk membantu perusahaan dan penyedia neocloud mengurus persekitaran data yang semakin mencabar, termasuk kes penggunaan baharu seperti awan AI berdaulat dan pembuatan dipacu AI.

Menurut NetApp, model EF-Series terbaharu itu menawarkan lebih 110GBps kadar bacaan dan 55GBps kadar penulisan, menandakan peningkatan sebanyak 250% berbanding generasi sebelumnya. Sistem itu juga menawarkan kecekapan kuasa sebanyak 63.7GBps bagi setiap kW dan sehingga 1.5PB storan dalam faktor bentuk 2U, sekali gus membolehkan organisasi menyokong beban kerja berdaya pemprosesan tinggi dan berlatensi rendah sambil mengurangkan jejak pusat data serta overhed operasi.

Naib Presiden Kanan dan Pengurus Besar storan perusahaan NetApp, Sandeep Singh, berkata bahawa data kekal sebagai teras dalam menjana nilai perniagaan, khususnya bagi beban kerja yang menuntut tahap prestasi tinggi seperti AI dan pangkalan data.

“Ketika perniagaan berdepan jumlah data yang semakin meningkat dan aplikasi intensif prestasi seperti latihan model AI, inferens AI dan pengkomputeran berprestasi tinggi, mereka memerlukan infrastruktur yang menawarkan kelajuan, kebolehskalaan dan kecekapan tanpa menambah kerumitan,” katanya.

Beliau menambah bahawa portfolio NetApp direka untuk menyokong setiap peringkat dalam rantaian data AI, daripada mengumpul dan menyediakan data hinggalah menyalurkannya kepada model AI generatif yang menghasilkan cerapan perniagaan.
