“Kerjasama ini adalah yang pertama seumpamanya bagi industri automotif di negara ini. Memandangkan MyDigital ID bertindak sebagai ‘gatekeeper’ bagi pengesahan transaksi
di negara ini, ia membolehkan kami mempelbagaikan lagi perkhidmatan kepada para
pelanggan kami khususnya, dan kepada semua rakyat Malaysia secara amnya,” kata
Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Perodua, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

Beliau berkata, proses pengesahan yang dijalankan adalah titik permulaan yang selamat
bagi memastikan semua pengguna dilindungi oleh pakar keselamatan siber di negara
ini.

“Sejak enam bulan lalu, kami telah menjalin kerjasama strategik dengan beberapa syarikat, antaranya PETRONAS, Tenaga Nasional Bhd dan Telekom Malaysia Bhd bagi
menambahkan lagi pengalaman rakyat Malaysia secara keseluruhan.

“Semua kerjasama ini akan menawarkan pelbagai produk dan perkhidmatan kepada
bakal pelanggan kami dan kami mahu pelanggan kami berada dalam keadaan selamat,”
kata Dato’ Sri Zainal.

“Sebagai tambahan, kami juga menyokong seruan kerajaan ke arah komuniti tanpa
tunai di samping memanfaatkan ciri keselamatan siber yang kukuh yang disediakan oleh
MyDigital ID,” katanya.

“Kerjasama strategik dengan Perodua menunjukkan kepentingan peranan identiti digital
untuk memacu pembaharuan digital di dalam industri automotif,” kata Ketua Pegawai
Operasi MyDigital ID, Mohd Azuddin Parman.

“Kuncinya adalah memastikan pengesahan identiti digital yang dipercayai di samping
menjadikan interaksi digital lebih selamat dan mudah. Ia memperkasakan industri
seperti automotif untuk menawarkan pengalaman selamat dan mesra pengguna kepada
setiap pelanggan. Pada masa yang sama, kami juga menyumbang kepada kemajuan
ekonomi digital Malaysia,” katanya.
