Acer Malaysia today officially expanded its monitor lineup with the arrival of the ultra-mobile CA1 series of smart monitors – comprising CA271 and CA321QK – that enable ultimate flexibility to enjoy content from anywhere in the comfort of home.
The Acer CA1 series’ wheeled ErgoStand allows users to shift around the home with ease. With just this one monitor, users can be productive with a second screen at their dining table, rotate and roll it into the kitchen to refer to a recipe for a 20-minute tomato smash pasta, and even wheel it into the bedroom to catch up on their favourite series lying in bed.
Its height, tilt and orientation are adjustable for a comfortable viewing experience whether seated, standing or while reclining. A built-in battery provides up to three hours of use to offer even more freedom, allowing the screen to follow users around the home without needing to be plugged into a power outlet.
Available in 27-inch and 31.5-inch sizes, the Acer CA271 and CA321QK feature VA panels with wide viewing angles, making them equally suited for personal entertainment or sharing content with friends and family.
With up to 4K UHD resolution and up to 85% DCI-P3 colour coverage, movies, photos and everyday content appear vivid and detailed.
Powered by the Android platform, the Acer CA1 series provides convenient access to entertainment platforms such as Netflix, YouTube and even Google services. Browsing and navigating content is intuitive with Up to 10-point touch support, while built-in Wi-Fi means users can stream content directly from the monitor itself.
Meanwhile, wireless screen mirroring makes it easy to display content from a smartphone or laptop onto the larger screen without reaching for a cable. Connecting via the home Wi-Fi network, the CA1 smart monitors can also be part of the IoT smart home environments.
Bluetooth connectivity further expands how the monitor can be used. Users can pair a keyboard and mouse for everyday tasks or connect external speakers for a more immersive entertainment experience.
An integrated 8MP camera makes catching up with friends and family over video calls just as convenient. It can also be used to capture spontaneous moments at home, while a physical sliding camera cover gives users an easy way to protect their privacy when the camera is not in use.
