There is one date that marks the beginning of it all: 25 April 1926, when Alfieri Maserati took the start of the Targa Florio at the wheel of the Tipo 26, carrying the Trident logo on the bonnet for the very first time.
One hundred years later, that same symbol and that same car become both inspiration and tribute: inspiration for a unique, personalised car, and a tribute to the centenary of Maserati’s
iconic logo and to its first one hundred years as a protagonist on racetracks around the world.
From this vision comes the MCPURA Cielo Tributo 1926, a bespoke car created through the Maserati Fuoriserie customisation programme. The choice of time and place for the delivery was no coincidence either: the car is unveiled and handed over to its owner at the Maserati showroom in Modena, just as the 2026 Mille Miglia passes through the city, bringing together in a single day the thread that connects Italian motorsport, Maserati’s racing tradition andvthe most exclusive present of the Trident brand.
After all, there is an indissoluble bond between the Brand and the legendary race, as demonstrated by the 1931 Tipo 26 C, the first Maserati to take part in the prestigious competition, where it achieved a class victory that went down in history.
The MCPURA Cielo Tributo 1926 stands out for a personalisation developed around the colors and shapes of 1920s racing. The bodywork is finished in Grigio Lamiera Matte, a shade that evokes the raw materiality of competition car bodies from that era.
Over it unfolds a bespoke livery that combines Rosso Capannelle, Blu Infinito and Bianco Pastello. At the center of the bonnet, the original Tipo 26 badge is faithfully reproduced with historical accuracy, establishing the most direct point of connection between the car of 1926 and that of 2026.
