A must-have collection for Star Wars afficionados! The stamps will be available for purchase at all 13 General Post Offices nationwide on 2 January 2019.
POS Malaysia Berhad (Pos Malaysia) unveiled its inaugural Star Wars-themed limited edition stamp series in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company Malaysia.
The limited edition Star Wars Stamp Set marks the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the third installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy and final episode of the Skywalker saga.
The series features 10 special stamps depicting iconic Star Wars characters, including Rey, Lando Calrissian, Jannah, Kylo Ren, the red-armoured Sith troopers and not forgetting all-time favourites, Chewbacca and C-3PO.
Popular Star Wars vehicles and droids will also be featured such as Poe Dameron’s X-wing, the Imperial TIE Fighter, and the “fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy” – the Millenium Falcon.
Pos Malaysia’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Syed Md Najib said “The Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stamp set is one of the must-have stamp titles particularly for die-hard fans as it takes us on a journey across the Star Wars galaxy.
This stamp set is undeniably a limited edition collectible as it is a tribute to the finale of the Skywalker saga. We are very ecstatic to feature each of these 10 iconic characters in this limited stamp series, commemorated within the stamp frame.”

The limited edition Setem Ku series will only be available for purchase in a complete folder set and not sold separately. The complete folder set, priced at RM120 each, consists of two sheets of perforated stamps namely ‘The Resistance’ sheet and ‘The First Order’ sheet, one sheet featuring the official poster stamp of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker with a spot UV printing technique highlighting the lightsaber duel scene between Rey and Kylo Ren, three pieces of souvenir covers with five stamps on each cover and a Star Wars logo cancellation mark, two pieces of post cards and a folder with special die-cut and spot varnish printing.
The set is even more valuable with a bonus paper model of Poe Dameron’s X-wing, which comes with an instruction sheet.
Adding to the excitement, a special pack consisting of a miniature sheet featuring three stamps of popular Star Wars droids such as C-3PO, R2-D2, D-O and BB-8, a presentation pack with tear-off postcards and one Millennium Falcon-designed envelope will be made available for only RM10.
Out in cinemas today, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the hugely anticipated final chapter in the Skywalker saga.
