The five-year partnership in research and development of solutions will enhance and maintain an ethical online ecosystem rooted with Shari’ah principles for the community
SALAM Web Technologies MY Sdn. Bhd. (Salam Web Technologies) and University of Malaya (UM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 27 February 2019.

The signing ceremony was facilitated by the Managing Director of Salam Web Technologies, Hajjah Hasni Zarina Mohamed Khan and the Dean of Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology of UM, Professor Dr Abrizah Abdullah.
SalamWeb invested a sum of RM250,000 for the one-year joint research and development projects with UM and the partnership is designed to foster, create, enhance and maintain an ethical online ecosystem that is aligned with Shari’ah principles.
The partnership will also provide opportunities for promising talents to further explore what can be expected from the industry with the Talent Development Programmes catering in the field of Islamic Digital Economy.

Apart from the partnership, SalamWeb Technologies ventured into different form of activities in order to inculcate and strengthening their effort towards providing a reliable digital services.
SalamWeb Industrial Attachment Professional (SIAP) programme – aimed in providing a platform that will provide opportunitiesfor the lecturers to broaden their experiences and keep abreast with the latest technological advancement.
