Malaysians have proven themselves time and time again, uniting to show their support towards the country’s remarkable Paralympic athletes.
FROM the historic achievement at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games to the total domination at the Kuala Lumpur 2017 ASEAN Para Games, our para athletes are globally known for their ability to break records and set exceptional standards within the Paralympic community.
In 2015, Tune Talk introduced The Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts (MISIM) and #KAMILUARBIASA to bring more exposure to our heroes, highlighting their achievements as well as play an active role in finding new talents at the grassroots level.
The initiatives have since managed to break down walls of prejudice, discrimination and the perception towards these extraordinary para athletes.
Ameen Amaendran, Tune Talk CEO, stated “Tune Talk has always been a strong believer of the Malaysian Paralympic movement since 2015.
Through the MISIM and #KAMILUARBIASA initiatives, two efforts specifically created to support and provide exposure for our extraordinary athletes, Tune Talk will continue on to provide the latest coverage of our athletes who will be competing at the ASIAN Para Games 2018 in Jakarta, just like what we did during the RIO Paralympic Games 2016, through our online platforms.”
“On top of that, we will also provide training kits for these athletes to wear when they go about their routine at the venue. The main priority is to ensure the athletes would not have to worry about unnecessary issues and focus on their battle to bring back glory to Malaysia.
It is within the company’s DNA to help build extraordinary communities and what an honour for us to be part of the Malaysian Paralympic movement.”
We would like to invite all Malaysians to cheer our para athletes on, staying updated with their performance, as well as spread the great news about their journey in Jakarta. MISIM will follow the para athlete’s preparation and journey closely, giving an in depth view of their struggles and aspirations to raise the Jalur Gemilang.
