HONOR X9d 5G – Memang Tahan Lasak, Pandang Pertama

HONOR, pengeluar telefon pintar terkemuka dari China sekali lagi memperkenalkan peranti terbaharunya HONOR X9d 5G dengan mempertaruhkan ciri-ciri lasak bertemakan “Ultra-Kukuh Tiga Perlindungan”.

Prebiu.com yang dipelawa menyaksikan peranti ini lebih dekat dalam sesi prebiu kepada media dapat berasakan peranti terbaharu ini sememangnya benar-benar tahan lasak dan melepasi lapan ujian yang disenaraikan pada sesi itu, semalam.

Peranti ini bukan sahaja lasak tetapi dipadankan dengan beberapa ciri terbaharu yang belum pernah ada pada mana-mana telefon pintar pada masa kini. Ciri seperti perlindungan daripada impak bertekanan tinggi dan pendedahan kepada haba serta air, hinggalah keadaan berhabuk dan berlumpur menyaksikan peranti ini menerima pengiktirafan IP69K yang pertama dalam industri.

Mengimbas kembali sejarah pengenalan peranti ini pada 2022 menerusi HONOR X9, X9a (2023), X9b (2024) dan HONOR X9c pada tahun ini, siri peranti X ini terus  mengukuhkan reputasinya sebagai telefon pintar paling tahan lasak sehingga hari ini.

Apa yang menarik dengan model terbaharu ini? Paling jelas ciri kamera utama dengan sensor 108 megapiksel (MP) dan bateri silikon-karbon berkapasiti paling besar 8300mAh yang dianggap cukup besar diberikan kepada setiap media yang terpilih menerima peranti ujian ini.

Meskipun media belum dibekalkan dengan spesifikasi penuh dalaman dan luaran peranti ini, apa yang dihuraikan dalam reviu pandang pertama ini hanyalah bersandarkan kepada maklumat asas yang diberikan.

SKRIN

Apa yang menarik pada peranti terbaru ini ialah skrinnya kali ini rata, lasak dan bonggol pada kamera belakang juga tidak terlalu ketara menjadikan peranti ini kelihatan benar-benar premium dipandang serta kemas dalam gengaman tangan.

Melihat kepada paparan warna, skrin HONOR X9d cukup cantik dan jelas dengan tahap kecerahan amat memuaskan sekali gus meletakkan peranti ini sebaris dengan peranti kelas pertengahan lain.

Malah ketika menggunakan peranti ini di bawah cahaya matahari terik juga tidak akan menimbulkan masalah dan kawalan manual tahap kecerahan boleh mencapai sehingga 1200 nits.

REKAAN LUARAN

HONOR X9d hadir dengan rekaan rata yang nipis manakala butang bezel pada sebelah kanan tidak terlalu tebal dan ringkas. Peranti ini ringan dan cukup selesa digenggam serta disimpan kemas dalam kocek seluar atau dompet wanita.

Melihat kepada rekaan belakang pula, ciri rekaan kameranya agak unik dengan bulatan besar jelas kelihatan dan menerima penarafan IP69K iaitu perlindungan habuk, impak bertekanan tinggi serta air yang paling ekstrem.

Apa yang menarik ialah permukaan badan peranti pada panel belakang itu pula kusam seakan saduran kulit halus lengkap dengan logo keemasan HONOR sekali gus mengurangkan kesan cap jari dan habuk namun selesa digengam.

Di atas peranti pula terdapat lubang mikrofon, speaker manakala satu lagi lubang sama di bahagian bawah bersama-sama dengan kekisi speaker, slot kad SIM dan port USB-C. Sisi kanan peranti dilengkapi dengan semua butang kuasa dan butang laras suara sementara tiada apa-apa di sisi kiri.

Berdasarkan kepada sesi prebiu itu, peranti ini dipadankan dengan enam kerangka kukuh yang menyerap hentakan yang diinspirasikan kepada ciri bahan kalis peluru. Lapisan pertama iaitu skrin kaca tahan pecah-ultra deep diikuti lapisan berketahanan tinggi di sekeliling skrin, di bawah skrin dan sehinggalah kepada lapisan paling belakang yang dipertingkatkan.

HONOR X9d 5G menawarkan empat pilihan warna di Malaysia iaitu Reddish Brown, Sunrise Gold, Forest Green dan Midnight Black menjadikannya peranti Pilihan Utama Rakyat Malaysia.

KAMERA

HONOR X9d dilengkapi dengan dua-kamera di belakang yang bulat dikelilingi oleh lingkaran keemasan yang mendapat sedikit sentuhan seakan rekaan daripada peranti premium HONOR Magic V5.

Meskipun tiada lagi maklumat rasmi diberikan HONOR Malaysia mengenai spesifikasi lengkap peranti ini, namun berdasarkan kepada pandang pertama, peranti ini memiliki banyak kelebihan berbanding peranti kelas pertengahan lain yang sedia ada di pasaran masa kini.

Ciri kameranya hampir lengkap dengan ciri sedia ada pada model terdahulu seperti potret, mod malam, imbas dokumen dengan ciri zoom 10 kali selain ciri kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang lain.

Menggunakan mod malam juga menghasilkan gambar yang cantik dengan tahap kecerahan warna lebih jitu meskipun zum digital digunakan.

BATERI

Peranti ini dibekalkan dengan bateri sebesar 8300mAh jenis Silikon Karbon yang tahan lama dan ketika ini dibekalkan kepada model peranti premium HONOR Magic V3 dan V5 dengan sokongan pengecasan pantas 66W HONOR SuperCharge.

Dengan sekali cas, peranti ini boleh bertahan selama tiga hari untuk bermain game, melayari media sosial, mendengar muzik atau apa sahaja. Pengecasan adalah melalui kabel USB-A ke USB-C yang mana kedua-dua kabel dan palam pengecas disediakan di dalam kotak.

Berdasarkan sesi prebiu kepada media, peranti ini mampu membuat panggilan telefon selama sejam dan 24 minit untuk menghantar mesej di aplikasi WhatsApp meskipun kuasa bateri berada pada tahap dua peratus sahaja. Hebat bukan!

Bagaimanapun, harga bagi peranti ini masih belum diumumkan, namun penuiis menjangkakan ia bakal ditawarkan pada harga sekitar RM2,000.

At IAA MOBILITY 2025, one of the world’s largest mobility events held in Munich, Germany, LG hosted a press conference to share its vision for the future of mobility and announce new strategic partnerships.

The conference, titled “Redefining the In-Cabin Experience: Why the Automotive Content Ecosystem Matters,” featured key executives including Eun Seok-hyun, president of the LG Vehicle Solution Company; Chris Jo, head of the webOS Platform Business Center at the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company; Chris Lee, Vice President of Xbox Marketing at Microsoft; and Brendan Ittelson, Chief Ecosystem Officer at Zoom.

Immersive In-Car Gaming With Xbox

During the conference, LG emphasised the importance of providing a scalable in-vehicle ecosystem and revealed two strategic partners to expand its content offerings.

Meeting players where they are, Xbox will soon bring the gaming experience to the road, with the Xbox app integrated into LG ACP. HONOR, a global leader in AI device ecosystems, is the official technology partner of Sarawak English Literacy Conference (SELC) 2025, a three-day event held in Kuching from 17 to 19 September.

Under this partnership, HONOR serves as a technology advisor to SELC, aiming to break down industry barriers through open collaboration and create a value-sharing ecosystem within Sarawak’s education transformation program.

To commemorate this partnership, HONOR and the Layar Education Development Committee (LEDC), the organiser of SELC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the event today.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Sarawak Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation
and Talent Development Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee; and Sarawak Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development, Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu.

As part of the collaboration, HONOR contributed to education development in underserved
communities by donating HONOR Pad 9 WiFi tablets to students in the Layar district of Betong.

This initiative ensures rural learners have better access to technology and digital tools, helping to bridge the digital divide.

Additionally, AI Summary helps students quickly grasp the main ideas of academic documents, news articles, or other lengthy materials. By focusing on core concepts, students can build their comprehension skills and identify key information more efficiently.

Furthermore, HONOR’s seamless device ecosystem, which connects smartphones, tablets, and laptops, promotes a fluid and continuous learning experience. This integration fosters a
collaborative and tech-enabled environment, empowering students to learn more effectively.

Profesor Lin Xiang Xiong Anjur Pameran Seni Perdana dan Majlis Hadiah Keamanan di Paris

Seniman kemanusiaan terkenal Profesor Lin Xiang Xiong (Profesor Lin) dan pengasas Galeri Seni Lin Xiang Xiong di Pulau Pinang, mempersembahkan pameran terbarunya, “The Vicissitudes of Life”, di Hôtel de l’Industrie bersejarah di Paris dari 10 hingga 13 September.

Pameran itu mendapat sokongan padu daripada institusi utama Perancis, dengan bekas Presiden Perancis François Hollande menjadi Penaung Kehormat, dan bekas Perdana Menteri Perancis Jean-Pierre Raffarin secara peribadi menghadiri perasmian itu.

Menampilkan 25 karya asli oleh Profesor Lin, pameran itu meneroka tiga tema iaitu anti-perang, anti-kemiskinan dan anti-pencemaran dan dengan jelas menjelmakan visi Profesor Lin tentang “Seni untuk Keamanan”, sebuah konsep yang melampaui estetika dan berusaha untuk memberi inspirasi kepada refleksi moral dan pemahaman antara budaya.

Semasa pameran itu, satu simposium akademik peringkat tinggi telah diadakan, menghimpunkan cendekiawan terkemuka antarabangsa, ahli falsafah dan pemimpin budaya untuk merenungkan “Dialog Antara Budaya di Persimpangan” dan “Membina Semula Konsep Keamanan Melalui Seni.”

Penceramah terkenal termasuk penulis Perancis dan aktivis hak asasi manusia Marek Halter, ahli falsafah terkenal dan ahli sinologi François Jullien, penerbit intelektual François L’Yvonnet, kurator dan ahli sosiologi Switzerland Barbara Polla, penasihat khas kepada Presiden Institut Dunia Arab, Claude Mollard, penasihat diplomasi kebudayaan Yves Corene Air Force, dan pesara Tentera Udara Perancis, Yves Marek.

Sepanjang perbincangan, Profesor Lin berkongsi pandangan uniknya tentang masa, seni, dan intipati keamanan, mencetuskan resonans yang kuat dan dialog yang mendalam.

Pada 12 September lalu , majlis sulung “Hadiah Seni untuk Keamanan Lin Xiong” telah diadakan dengan jayanya. Pertandingan itu menarik 1,883 penyertaan dari 100 negara di seluruh dunia, jauh melebihi jangkaan.

Sambutan yang menggalakkan ini menekankan pengiktirafan luas terhadap advokasi “Seni untuk Keamanan” Profesor Lin, menyuarakan aspirasi bersama dunia hari ini. Profesor Lin mengumumkan bahawa anugerah itu akan ditubuhkan sebagai acara dwitahunan, diteruskan sebagai inisiatif seni utama yang didedikasikan untuk keamanan.

“Pameran ini lebih kepada kebangkitan pemikiran daripada persembahan seni,” kata Profesor Lin Xiang Xiong. “Setiap sapuan berus adalah kesaksian masa, dialog senyap antara masa lalu dan masa kini, kesakitan dan penyembuhan.

“Sama ada melalui pameran atau penubuhan Hadiah Keamanan, saya berharap seni bukan semata-mata untuk dikagumi tetapi benar-benar dapat menyentuh hati, berfungsi sebagai jambatan antara budaya, dan membangkitkan hati nurani yang lembut di dalam diri manusia.”

Pameran dan simposium itu menarik perhatian ramai di Hôtel de l’Industrie yang bersejarah di Paris. Pameran itu juga menandakan satu peristiwa penting dalam perjalanan artistik Profesor Lin dan menandakan pembukaan Galeri Seni Lin Xiang Xiong di Pulau Pinang, yang dijadualkan pada pertengahan Disember 2025.

Berkeluasan 8,000 meter persegi, galeri itu akan menempatkan karya-karya utama Profesor Lin dan juga menyediakan platform untuk artis-artis baru muncul untuk mengejar impian mereka. Ia akan berdiri sebagai salah satu galeri seni persendirian terbesar di rantau ini, mengukuhkan peranan Malaysia sebagai hab diplomasi budaya dan persefahaman antara budaya di Asia Tenggara.

Melalui “The Vicissitudes of Life,” Profesor Lin sekali lagi menunjukkan bahawa seni adalah penghantar pemikiran dan hati nurani. Dengan jelas, dia menganjurkan keamanan, dan sebagai seorang artis, dia memilih jalannya sendiri – melalui kuasa lembut budaya, melalui kata-kata, dan melalui sikatnya – untuk menyuarakan kebimbangannya yang mendalam terhadap peperangan, pencemaran dan kemiskinan.

Dengan seni sebagai bahasanya, dia menyeru rakan artis untuk menyertai perjuangannya, menyatukan kekuatan mereka untuk bersuara demi keamanan dan masa depan umat manusia.

PETRONAS DELIVERS MALAYSIA’S FIRST LOCALLY BLENDED SAF

PETRONAS has successfully delivered Malaysia’s first blended Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to KL International Airport (KLIA) for the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), establishing PETRONAS’ in-house capability and readiness to provide continuous, scalable supply in Malaysia.

Locally blended at PETRONAS’ blending facilities, the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC)-certified SAF, which meets CORSIA-eligible fuel requirements, was delivered directly to KLIA via Malaysian Refining Company’s (MRCSB) multi-product pipeline, ensuring readily available SAF through its integrated supply chain.

“PETRONAS recognises its role in driving the global push towards decarbonisation, especially in progressing Malaysia’s net-zero ambition as a key enabler contributing to the development of future fuels. Decarbonising the aviation industry requires reliable pathways, and SAF represents one of the most immediate solutions available today.

This pilot project is a strategic long-term investment to build in-house capabilities through advancements in technology and infrastructure, as well as talent development to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions to our partners and customers,” said Ahmad Adly Alias, Vice President of Refining, Marketing and Trading, PETRONAS.

“This achievement has also effectively positioned us ahead in supporting the government’s targets for SAF under the 13th Malaysia Plan, reinforcing our commitment to national energy security and industrial growth,” he added.

The SAF will be uplifted for Malaysia Airlines’ daily late evening MH2 service from Kuala Lumpur to London between 1st to 16th September 2025, marking a tangible step in integrating SAF into its regular operations.

Canon Marketing Malaysia (Canon) unveiled three powerful new additions to its imaging portfolio, designed to empower filmmakers, content creators, and production crews in Malaysia. The launch introduces:

  • D227 → EOS C50 – the smallest and most versatile Cinema EOS hybrid camera to date.
  • CTZ236 → CN5x11 IAS T R1/P1 – Canon’s widest-ever Cine-Servo lens, built for both cinematic and broadcast environments.
  • Canon L340 → RF85mm f/1.4L VCM – the first medium telephoto lens in Canon’s f/1.4 VCM hybrid prime series.

 

Together, these innovations expand Canon’s hybrid ecosystem, equipping creators with advanced tools for professional storytelling across film, broadcast, and content creation.

The Canon D227 is the most compact Cinema EOS camera ever built, yet it houses a powerful 7K full-frame CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV 7 processor. Capable of 7K 60P RAW video recording, 4K 120P, and 32MP still photography, the D227 bridges the gap between cinema and hybrid workflows.

The camera introduces open gate recording, unlocking the entire sensor area for maximum flexibility in post-production, enabling reframing for horizontal, vertical, or square formats from the same footage—ideal for both cinematic productions and social media content.

Its Simultaneous Crop Recording further streamlines production by capturing full-frame and cropped content simultaneously. Built for agility, the D227 features a modular design, detachable handle with dual XLR inputs, and extensive rigging options, making it suitable for large productions and fast-paced shoots alike.

CTZ236 Cine-Servo Lens: The Widest in Canon’s Lineup

Expanding Canon’s professional cinema lens range, the Canon CTZ236 Cine-Servo offers an ultra-wide 11mm focal length and 100-degree angle of view—the widest Cine-Servo lens Canon has ever built.

At just 3kg, it is lightweight enough for shoulder-mounted use, gimbals, cranes, or robotics, while delivering 8K HDR optical performance with an 11-blade iris for cinematic results.

The CTZ236 comes with a removable e-Xs V Digital Drive Unit, providing precise servo control, responsive iris handling, and advanced metadata output. Available in both RF and PL mount, it supports Cooke /i Technology™, ZEISS eXtended Data™, and Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF, making it ideal for cinema, live broadcast, and virtual production environments.

L340 Hybrid Lens: Intimate Narratives in a Compact Design

The Canon L340 is the first medium telephoto lens in Canon’s f/1.4 VCM hybrid prime series, joining the 20mm, 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm VCM lenses. With an 85mm focal length, it delivers the classic portrait perspective—perfect for close-ups, detail shots, and intimate storytelling.

Despite its professional-grade optics and bright f/1.4 aperture, the L340 is 30% lighter than its EF-mount predecessor, weighing only 636g. Filmmakers and photographers can enjoy seamless transitions thanks to its clickless iris ring, focus breathing suppression, and robust weather-sealed design. The lens is also coated with Canon’s Air Sphere Coating (ASC) to reduce flare and ghosting for superior image quality.

Japanese-Quality MaaS in Malaysia to Enhance the Convenience of Public Transport

By introducing Japanese-quality MaaS, NADI WILLER supplements existing rail and bus systems with its mobi DRT (Demand Responsive Transit) service, delivering seamless journeys using public transportation which reduce car dependency and contribute to easing of traffic congestion.

Addressing Malaysia’s Transport Challenges

Kuala Lumpur city faces serious traffic congestion, particularly due to the lack of reliable first- and last-mile connecting transport. As a result, many have no choice but to rely on private cars, family pick-ups, or e-hailing services.

Public transport usage for mid-distance travel also remains limited. In addition, recent bus accidents have heightened public concern for safety. To address these challenges, NADI WILLER is introducing a MaaS platform that integrates mass transit such as buses and rail with on-demand services like mobi DRT, creating a seamless mobility experience tailored to diverse needs.

Track Record in Malaysia

Since its establishment, NADI WILLER has been operating mobi DRT through its mobile app. As of August 2025, mobi DRT has been deployed in 26 service areas with over 400,000 passengers and more than 100,000 registered members.

According to a recent user survey, more than 88% of riders use mobi DRT as part of their journey to public transport. Before Prior mobi DRT was made available, 47.6% relied on family pick-ups and 24.2% used private cars.

These results demonstrate how mobi DRT is changing mobility behavior—reducing private car use and encouraging a shift towards public transport.
