PUMA has revealed its latest collaboration with the Copenhagen-based running brand, SAYSKY.
Already being tipped as running collaboration of the year, the collection includes a variety of co-branded footwear and apparel that evokes the joys of running, taking inspiration from the ocean through unique design cues and simplistic style.
Designed for all levels of running, whether it’s your 100 th race or first time stepping onto
the road, the PUMA x SAYSKY collection celebrates the idea that all runners are Forever. Stars.
Inspired by the woodblock print “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai, the collection was designed to tell the story of the highs and lows of running, and the importance of pushing boundaries.
Lars C. Pedersen, Founder and CEO of SAYSKY, said: “Life and running are like the ocean – some days are turbulent, pushing us to our limits, while others offer moments of calm and reflection.
Together, we embrace the highs and lows, knowing that it’s our unity and collective drive that make us stronger – and just like the waves found on these premium pieces, we are dynamic, ever-changing, and forever in motion.”
Built on the common drive of PUMA and SAYSKY, the collection has something for everyone with fresh designs made by runners for runners. Chad Holt, Senior Product Line Manager at PUMA described the collection: “There’s something here for every runner; race day items, bold prints and graphics, and stylish warmups.
Our inspiration came from the ocean and Scandi style, celebrating the dynamic nature of ocean waves much like a runner’s race or running journey.”
With footwear available in three key footwear silhouettes: ForeverRun NITRO™ 2 (RM689), Deviate NITRO™ 3 (RM719) and Deviate NITRO™ Elite 3 (RM929), there is something for every level of runner. The collection includes premium apparel for versatile men’s, women’s, and unisex looks for all points in your running journey.
