In conjunction with the annual Movember event and International Men’s Day on 19 November, Renault is inviting all men and their families to a special event in support
of men’s health this weekend at Renault Petaling Jaya.
The event, themed ‘Celebrating Movember with Health, Cars, and Great Deals’, is happening on 16 and 17 November at the Renault Petaling Jaya showroom located along Jalan Kemajuan in Seksyen 13, Petaling Jaya from 10am to 5pm.
A global event that transforms November into a month-long campaign, Movember aims to raise awareness for men’s health, bringing attention to issues like prostate and testicular cancers, mental health, and suicide prevention.
Throughout the month, men are encouraged to be proactive with their health by scheduling regular check-ups and focusing on their mental and physical well-being.
Health, cars and fun
Visitors to the weekender event can enjoy free basic health screenings provided by MiCare, a managed care organisation, and Beacon Hospital on Saturday, November 16, from 10 am to 3 pm.
Available tests include blood pressure checks, an InBody BMI & BCA obesity screening complete with printed results and consultations, a blood glucose test, and an optional blood cholesterol test for only RM10.
Health screenings are a great reminder for men to keep track of their well-being this Movember. The event also showcases a variety of cars from Renault – namely the Renault Captur, Koleos, Zoe and Megane R.S., all available for test drives with on-the-spot offers.
Test drivers will receive a custom-printed Movember Renault T-shirt, and light refreshments will be available to keep visitors refreshed. Families can enjoy a kids’ colouring contest on Sunday, 17 November, from 11 am to 12 pm, with attractive prizes for different age categories.
