Following the introduction of the new Sales and Services Tax (SST), Mercedes-Benz Malaysia announces today that effective September 1, 2018, prices of all Mercedes-Benz premium automobiles are adjusted according to the government’s enactment of SST.
MERCEDES-Benz Malaysia is committed to continue providing its premium range of products and services at the best value, putting their customers at the centre of their activities.
Simultaneously, Mercedes-Benz is also pleased to share several product upgrades that are applied to the best-selling SUV namely, the GLC 200 and GLC 250 4MATIC, which are now equipped with Blind Spot Assist.
The Blind Spot Assist system is a radar sensor technology to monitor the areas directly alongside and behind the vehicle.
The GLC 250 4MATIC will also be equipped with the Lane Keeping Assist, a safety feature which allows the steering wheel to vibrate to warn the driver if the vehicle leaves its lane unintentionally with the help of the camera on the inside of the windscreen, which monitors the road markings by evaluating the difference in contrast between the road surface and the markings.
In the second half of this year, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s highlights include the launch of the complete variant of its flagship range, the S-Class family, consisting of the S-Class limousine, S-Class Cabriolet, S-Class Coupé and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.

Mercedes-Benz progressive and popular compact car family receives an attractive visual update in the form of the Night Edition for the GLA and CLA.
The GLA and CLA Night Edition are available exclusively in 200 specification, and come with AMG Line exterior bodystyling including multi-spoke AMG alloy wheels.

The unique combination of AMG sportiness on the exterior highlights the advantages of the vehicle to expressive effect.
An impressive appearance is assured for the special model thanks to AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels as well as LED High Performance headlamps. For a first-class and unique sense of quality, the upholstery in ARTICO man-made leather, the floor mats, the beltline and also the dashboard are showcased with white topstitching.
A further visual highlight is created by the seat belts with white stripe and also the vent surrounds with colour-coordinated white nozzle rings with carbon-fibre look trim on the dashboard.
The AMG bodystyling with characteristic front and rear apron and side sill panels presented in matt titanium grey lends the vehicle its unmistakable character. Sleek as they come, the GLA 200 and CLA 200 are both equipped with the 1.6-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine developing a maximum output of 115 kW (156 hp) and 250 Nm maximum torque, enabling these cars to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.9 and 8.1 seconds respectively.
The dual clutch transmission combines the comfort of a 7-speed automatic transmission with the driving dynamics of a manual transmission.
The shift characteristics can be preset from fuel-saving to sporty via the “Economy”, “Sport” and “Manual” transmission modes. When kickdown mode is used the electronic controller skips individual gears instead of changing down through each individual gear. This enables faster sprints.
