Betamek Berhad (Betamek), Pengeluar Reka Bentuk Asal (ODM) dan peneraju dalam perkhidmatan pembuatan elektronik (EMS) untuk industri automotif, mengumumkan kesemua enam resolusi yang dibentangkan pada Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan ketiga Syarikat (AGM) hari ini telah diluluskan oleh para pemegang saham.
Semasa AGM, pemegang saham Betamek menerima Laporan Tahunan bagi tahun kewangan berakhir 31 Mac 2024 (“TK2024”), menandakan satu lagi tahun prestasi kukuh bagi Syarikat.
Mesyuarat itu juga menyaksikan kelulusan dividen satu peringkat akhir sebanyak 1.0 sen sesaham, yang menekankan komitmen Syarikat untuk menyampaikan nilai kepada para pemegang sahamnya. Resolusi lain yang diluluskan semasa AGM termasuk kelulusan yuran dan faedah pengarah, pemilihan semula Pengarah yang akan bersara dan pelantikan semula juruaudit.
Pengarah Eksekutif Betamek, Muhammad Fauzi Abd Ghani melahirkan rasa terima kasihnya kepada para pemegang saham atas sokongan tidak berbelah bahagi.
“Kami gembira dengan keputusan AGM hari ini. Kelulusan sebulat suara bagi semua resolusi adalah bukti kepercayaan dan keyakinan kami pemegang saham berada dalam kepimpinan dan hala tuju strategik Betamek.
“Semasa kami bergerak ke hadapan, kami tetap komited untuk menyampaikan pertumbuhan yang mampan dan mencipta nilai jangka panjang untuk pemegang kepentingan kami,” katanya di sini, hari ini.
Kesimpulan kejayaan AGM menandakan langkah positif bagi Betamek kerana ia terus mengukuhkan kedudukannya dalam industri elektronik automotif, berpandukan strategi yang jelas dan tadbir urus yang kukuh.
Pada jam 5 petang 27 Ogos 2024, harga saham Betamek ditutup 0.425sen, mewakili modal pasaran RM191.3 juta.

Idris dalam sembah ucapannya berkata, AmanahRaya-Kenedix telah mengambil inisiatif untuk mengadakan kempen ‘Konservasi Harimau Malaya’ yang bertujuan untuk mempertingkatkan kesedaran masyarakat mengenai kepentingan memulihara Harimau Malaya atau Panthera Tigris Jacksoni dengan kerjasama Persatuan Pelindung Harimau Malaya (RIMAU) di Vista Tower, The Intermark, Kuala Lumpur.
Beliau berkata, menurut Jabatan Perlindungan Hidupan Liar dan Taman Negara (Perhilitan) populasi Harimau Malaya liar di Malaysia telah menurun daripada lebih kurang 1,000 ekor pada tahun 1970an kepada kurang daripada 150 ekor sehingga kini kerana pelbagai ancaman seperti pemburuan haram.
Inisiatif ini juga diwujudkan selaras dengan keperluan amalan persekitaran, sosial dan tadbir urus (ESG) yang perlu dipraktikkan oleh setiap syarikat korporat juga warga kerja Kumpulan AmanahRaya.
Tunku Rozita dalam sembah ucapannya ketika memberi penerangan mengenai kanvas lukisan Harimah Malaya berkata, lukisan gergasi yang terhasil melalui gabungan 16 kanvas dengan kelebaran keseluruhan 23 meter persegi ini merupakan sebahagian daripada usaha proaktif AmanahRaya-Kenedix dan RIMAU untuk membantu dalam konservasi Harimau Malaya yang menjadi satu indikator penting bagi biodiversiti dan kemandirian spesies ini di hutan negara kita.
Beliau berkata, mulai hari ini turut diadakan pameran hasil karya seni berkaitan Harimau Malaya yang akan dijual kepada orang ramai dan sebahagian daripada hasil penjualan karya seni akan disalurkan ke dalam Tabung Kempen Selamatkan Harimau Malaya anjuran RIMAU.
Kanvas Lukisan Harimau Malaya yang dihasilkan oleh pelukis mural terkenal Malaysia, Lina Ali, disiapkan dengan bantuan Pengurusan dan Warga Kerja Kumpulan AmanahRaya menerusi program CSR mewarna-Harimau Malaya yang telah diadakan pada 30 Mei dan 31 Mei 2024.

In its continuous effort to create ‘Life’s Good’ for all, LG Electronics Malaysia (LG Malaysia), leading home appliances and consumer electronics brand, has stepped forward in their mission to donate state-of-the-art air purifiers worth more than RM 200,000 to six hospitals across Johor and Selangor.

Striving for the betterment of the nation, LG Malaysia has donated its LG PuriCare™ 360º ALPHA Pet and LG PuriCare™ 360º Double Booster Air Purifiers to several hospitals.
In Selangor, the hospitals receiving these air purifiers are Hospital Cyberjaya, Hospital Ampang and Hospital Sultan Idris Shah Serdang, while in Johor, the beneficiaries include Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Hospital Sultan Ismail and Hospital Sultanah Nora Ismail in Batu Pahat.

Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan Siab Holdings Bhd Ng Wai Hoe
Siab Holdings Berhad (Siab), pemain mapan dalam industri pembinaan Malaysia, merekodkan keuntungan bagi dua suku berturut-turut bagi suku kedua tahun kewangan 2024 dengan keuntungan kasar RM2.55 juta, peningkatan ketara berbanding kerugian kasar RM3.04 juta yang dilaporkan pada suku yang sama tahun sebelumnya (“S2 TK2023”).
Bagi S2 TK2024, Siab mencatatkan hasil sebanyak RM38.26 juta, menurun daripada RM67.36 juta pada S2 TK2023.
Pengurangan hasil sebahagian besarnya disebabkan oleh kurang projek yang sedang dijalankan berbanding suku tahun yang sama tahun sebelumnya.
Berbanding dengan pendapatan S1 TK2024 sebanyak RM26.26 juta, Syarikat mencapai peningkatan hasil yang kukuh sebanyak 45.7 peratus pada suku kedua, didorong terutamanya oleh tahap aktiviti pembinaan yang lebih tinggi dalam projek yang sedang dijalankan.
Projek pembinaan terkenal yang diperoleh baru-baru ini termasuk pembinaan kilang pemprosesan bernilai RM94.28 juta oleh Mahsuri Food Sdn. Bhd. dan projek hartanah kediaman bernilai RM106.80 juta oleh Murni Lapisan Sdn. Bhd., anak syarikat tidak langsung IJM Land Berhad.
Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan Siab Holdings Bhd, Ng Wai Hoe berkata, keupayaan syarikat untuk mengekalkan keuntungan untuk suku kedua berturut-turut sesuatu yang menggalakkan.
“Pengambilalihan Taghill Projects Sdn. Bhd. (“Taghill”) telah memainkan peranan penting dalam meningkatkan portfolio projek kami, membolehkan kami memanfaatkan kekuatan masing-masing dan mengukuhkan lagi kedudukan pasaran kami Dengan penambahan pemimpin berpengalaman baru-baru ini, kami lebih optimistik tentang masa depan persekitaran pasaran, dengan komitmen untuk menyampaikan nilai kepada pemegang kepentingan kami,” katanya di sini hari ini.
Di sebalik pertumbuhan hasil ini, Siab mengekalkan keuntungan sebelum cukai (“PBT”) yang konsisten sebanyak RM0.11 juta, mencerminkan PBT yang dicatatkan pada S1 TK2024. Keuntungan yang mantap ini menekankan keberkesanan fokus berterusan Syarikat terhadap pengurusan kos dan kecekapan operasi.
Dalam pada itu, Wai Hoe berkata, Siab telah menyelesaikan pelaksanaan terbitan hak yang mengumpul lebih RM92.00 juta.
Buku pesanan Kumpulan berjumlah RM1.48 bilion pada 30 Jun 2024 dan Taghill telah komited kepada jaminan keuntungan sekurang-kurangnya RM24.00 juta untuk tahun kewangan 2024 dan 2025 secara terkumpul.
Selain itu, Lembaga Pengarah Siab Holdings Berhad telah mengumumkan cadangan untuk menukar nama Syarikat kepada Taghill Holdings Berhad (“Taghill”), mencerminkan integrasi strategiknya dengan Taghill Projects Sdn. Bhd. Nama yang dicadangkan ini tertakluk kepada kelulusan pemegang saham pada Mesyuarat Agung Luar Biasa (“EGM”) pada 18 September 2024.

Katanya, Malaysia bukan sahaja menzahirkan sokongan daripada segi usaha diplomatik, malah negara sanggup mengambil pesakit rakyat Palestin untuk diberi rawatan di Malaysia.
“Usaha ini boleh memberi dorongan kepada negara-negara lain untuk sama-sama membantu, khususnya Negara Asia Barat yang memiliki kestabilan daripada segi kewangan,” katanya.
