UNIRAZAK is proud to announce its commendable performance at the prestigious Private Education Excellence Awards 2024, held at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur recently. The university was recognised for its outstanding contributions to Malaysia’s higher education landscape.
UNIRAZAK was the recipient of two coveted awards, including the Operational Excellence in Business Transformation Award and the Rising Star University Award. These accolades underscore the university’s unwavering commitment to academic innovation and operational efficiency.
Individual awards were also presented and for UNIRAZAK, five academicians were nominated with three notable winners led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Samsinar Md. Sidin for the National Outstanding Educationist Award in the University category, Prof. Dr. Zulkiflee Mohamed, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic Excellence & Sustainability, received the National Outstanding Educators Award and Asst. Prof. Nor Khalidah Abu, recipient of the Long Service Award (30 Years and Above).
The university is proud to announce that Prof. Dr. Benjamin Chan Yin Fah, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Research & Partnerships, as the finalist for the National Outstanding Research Award and Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohammed Reyasudin Basir Khan, as the finalist for the National Outstanding Young Researcher Award.
In her speech, Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Samsinar Md. Sidin thanked En. Amil Izham Hamzah, the Chief Executive Officer of UNIRAZAK for his vision, and extended her thanks to the team at UNIRAZAK for letting her share her perspectives on academia, including the business aspects of upholding the quality of education. “Every success we celebrate today brings us closer to a brighter future”, she added.
