Visitors to the event can test drive the Triton and XPANDER through a few obstacle courses
all designed to challenge the good handling of the Mitsubishi cars.
Mitsubishi XPANDER Obstacle Courses
The Devil’s Angle will see participants go through a water-wading obstacle to showcase
XPANDER’s versatility to handle rough roads or flash floods with its high ground clearance
of 205mm.
Another stirring course is the Side Traverse, which is specially designed to test XPANDER’S agility and superior handling. In addition, visitors can also test the Roller Conveyor which recognizes XPANDER’S excellent safety where the car’s Traction Control helps to maintain traction on slippery or rugged surfaces.
Mitsubishi Triton Obstacle Courses
As for the Mitsubishi Triton pick-up truck, visitors can immerse themselves in the Hill Slope
encounter. This obstacle course is meticulously built to showcase Triton’s Hill Start Assist making it easy to start off on a steep uphill slope.
The obstacle course continues with the enthralling Downhill slope. Visitors to the event can
put Triton’s Hill Descent Control to the test, affirming its prowess in automatic brake
application on downward inclines.
Participants can also take on the Mud Pit and Elephant Steps challenge which showcases
the Triton’s off-road mode for extra traction and its Super Select 4WD II system delivering
optimum traction and handling for any given terrain.
