As we watch the COVID-19 pandemic taking its toll on the world for more than two years, its devastating impact continues to linger.

The pandemic caused fear, anxiety and stress among people. It is easy to feel powerless and vulnerable against this growing invisible threat even for adults, let alone children from a less privileged background and afflicted with a life-threatening medical condition.

For this very reason, the Le Marché de Noël committee continued to work tirelessly, focusing on its passion of bringing joy to the children and help them find a little happiness as the pandemic retreats with easing of restrictions.

In the run-up to its 10th edition of the Christmas charity at year end, the committee is going the extra mile to help raise funds for the disadvantaged kids. Themed My French
Tropical Bazaar, the special event will be held on 19 May 2022 at W Hotel Ballroom, from 10 am until 9 pm.

The Le Marché de Noël committee has set a target of raising RM100,000 from the My French Tropical Bazaar.

All the proceeds will be channeled to Make-A-Wish Malaysia and A-Heart for A-Heart organizations to help fulfill the wishes of the underprivileged kids as well as provide aid for those who are affected by critical medical conditions.

Set to bring about vibrant and fresh vibes for bazaar enthusiasts, Le Marché de Noël has invited 62 uniquely curated vendors offering a plethora of handcrafted goods, exquisite decorative items, beautiful handmade accessories and delectable handmade delicacies.

Making this year’s bazaar even more special is that all the food items are pork-free, offering more options to the visitors who are also food lovers.

That’s not all – Visitors can also stand a chance to win special prizes from the vendors through a lucky draw session at the bazaar by purchasing the Lucky Packet at only RM10 each.

The committee of Le Marché de Noël will organise a French Apéro starting from 6:30pm on the same day to bring more joie de vivre (joy of living) to the visitors while contributing to the fund raising.

Visitors can immerse themselves in a unique French experience with signature French delights.

Le Marché de Noël once again received tremendous support this year from companies who are equally passionate about helping the underprivileged children.

The biggest sponsors of the bazaar are Rotortrade, Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur and W Kuala Lumpur. Other sponsors include AGS, TechnipFMC, Monin, 1991 Skincare and BNP Paribas.

All Malaysians are invited to join the charity bazaar and help spread the spirit of giving by supporting this charitable cause. Such spirit is all the more important in the face of a pandemic. Even a small act of kindness can put a big smile on a child’s face.
