Mercedes-Maybach, the ultimate luxury sub brand of Mercedes-Benz today announces the launch of two highly exclusive models, adding to the brands luxury portfolio, the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, and Mercedes-Maybach GLS.
This establishes Mercedes-Benz once again as the pioneer in automotive luxury amongst local luxury car owners.

The new Mercedes-Maybach S 580 4MATIC
The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class expresses the superlative luxury with a number of exclusive features that particularly suitable for chauffeured driving. It is a well-conceived combination of sublime beauty and trailblazing technology.
The engine powered by an eight-cylinder petrol engine (M176) with integrated second-generation starter-alternator (ISG) and 48-volt onboard electrical system. Not to forget, the usage of DYNAMIC SELECT allows the driver to individually modify the characteristics of the powertrain, ESP®, suspension and steering.
It shows MAYBACH driving mode which focuses entirely on ride comfort. The word mark MAYBACH is elegantly integrated into the chrome surround of the grille. It features a fixed quarterlight in the C-pillar.
Exclusivity is emphasised by the Maybach brand logo on the C- pillar. The exclusive appearance of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class can be enhanced by a two-tone paint finish with a dividing line which is applied by hand to the highest quality standards.
This is available as optional equipment, with additional costs. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class exclusivity is emphasised by the Maybach brand logo on the C-pillar.
As standard, it is also equipped with electrically operated comfort rear doors. In combination with the MBUX Interior Assistant in the rear, the comfort doors can be closed by a gesture of the hand, and stopped by extending an arm.
Another new feature is DIGITAL LIGHT technology is now in full series production with the new S-Class generation that allows completely new functions. As a special, The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has an 18-centimetre longer wheelbase than the long variant of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
The new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia introduces a new form of luxury in the SUV segment with the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC.
The unique combination of comfort, technology and luxury, it extends the portfolio of the Mercedes-Maybach brand by combining the body design and technical basis of the GLS with the luxury of a top class saloon car.
For the first time there is a dedicated Maybach drive program that ensures even more comfort in the rear, with the spacious interior – highest grade materials and extremely effective noise insulation.
With the usage of V8 engine, it can develop 410 kW (557 hp) and 730 Nm of torque with the combination of 48-volt system EQ boost. It was developed exclusively for Maybach and moves the car discreetly and powerfully.
The Mercedes-Maybach brand represents & ‘Ultimate Luxury’ in its most contemporary, purest form.
The headlamps with MULTIBEAM LED technology as standard present the entire front lighting as if in jewellery showcases. As a special, Maybach-specific feature, two-tone paintwork is planned in eight different, elegant color combinations.
Another eye-catching feature of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS are the electrically extending running boards. They make accessing and leaving the high seating position both convenient and safe, for example – when the doors are opened, the vehicle is lowered slightly, and an illuminated running board quickly and silently emerges on the access or egress side.
The interior of the Mercedes-Maybach uses the generous dimensions of the GLS to offer drivers and passenger’s comfortable seating on all four or five seats. Especially the Executive Rear can be used both as an office and as a private relaxation zone, including the integration of digital devices.
