RHB Bank Berhad (RHB) launched the new RHB Mobile Banking App with the primary aim of reimagining day-to-day banking journey of our customers.

THE new RHB Mobile Banking App will provide highly convenient and pleasant experiences, help us convert more customers to become “digitally active” and make RHB their primary bank.

RHB Mobile Banking App

The new RHB Mobile Banking App offers robust features that allow customers to do their banking transactions at their convenience. Key features include:

  • Quick access to all customers’ account information with a Quick Login feature using PIN or biometrics; which gives customers an easy way to get a complete overview of their account information allowing them to manage their finances anywhere anytime;
  • A “One-touch payment” feature that allows payments to be made effortlessly for up to 8
    specified recipients; with no full login needed for payments up to RM500;
  • The enhanced integration capabilities using transaction signing eliminates the need for SMS One Time Password (OTP) to authorise transactions, without compromising account security;
  • A user friendly dashboard for a quick view of account balances, recent transactions and
    account history, payment due dates, and other relevant information;
  • Auto alerts and notifications on upcoming payments and due dates for credit cards, where payments can be made with just a click of a button;
  • Links to key banking and lifestyle offers of RHB; Make any first time (open) payment easily: DuitNow, bills, JomPAY, top-up, inter-bank instant transfer – and share receipts and add them as favourites in the same process, and
  • The RHB Finder, a feature to help customers locate the nearest RHB Bank branch, for those who require one-on-one assistance.

“The new RHB Mobile banking app was designed and developed with the needs of our customers in mind. Its unique features and user friendly functionalities as well as the clean and intuitive interface makes it simple and easy for customers to use, regardless of customers profile or age group.

The App also enables customers to directly access products and services being offered by
the Group. Through this App we are re-imagining banking experience by bringing simplicity, convenience and personalised service into the lives of our customers, without the need to go to our branches for their day to day banking needs,” said Dato’ Khairussaleh Ramli, Group Managing Director, RHB Banking Group.

“Today, RHB has approximately 1.8 million active RHB Now internet banking users, out of which more than 500,000 are active mobile banking users. In the last three years, our mobile banking penetration has grown by 250%.

With the launch of our new RHB Mobile Banking App, we are targeting to increase our active mobile banking users to 1 million by the end of 2019,” he added.

This new mobile banking app is set to increase transaction volume via digital channels from 66% currently to more than 80% by 2022. The new app is set to deliver greater accessibility and personalised banking services to approximately 4 million RHB customers.

The new RHB Mobile Banking App will co-exist with the current RHB Now app and internet banking platform over the next 12 months, before it is gradually integrated to a single platform.

The new RHB Mobile Banking App is now available for customers to download from App Store and Google Play.
