The Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (REHDA) Malaysia continues to support the Government’s Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) 2019 initiative by organising HOC – MAPEX April 2019.

A property expo that not only continues the Association’s tradition of providing a one stop centre for purchasers to find their dream home, but maintains the cooperation it holds with the Government for the Campaign.

From 26 to 28 April 2019, a total of 72 private developers will be showcasing their properties located all over the Klang Valley, as well as Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan
and Pulau Pinang, amongst others.

Also participating in the event are Government agencies namely the Ministry of Federal Territories’ RUMAWIP and Lembaga Perumahan Hartanah Selangor who will offer affordable housing options to the visitors, and the National Housing Department, Housing and Strata Management Tribunal, Public Sector Home Financing Board, Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit and the Employees’ Provident Fund.

“The Expo will also see the involvement of seven financial institutions including Maybank, who is MAPEX’s Strategic Financial Partner, along with CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, Hong Leong Investment Bank, Public Bank, RHB Bank and United Overseas Bank.

“We hope that banks and other financial providers will continue to support our
endeavours going forward,” says Datuk Ng Seing Liong, MAPEX Organising Chairman.

The Opening Ceremony for HOC – MAPEX April 2019 will be held on Friday, 26 April 2019 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC), at 3pm. Officiating the ceremony is Minister of Finance Lim Guan Eng, who also made the announcement on HOC during the tabling of Budget 2019 last year.

As is the tradition in REHDA Malaysia’s MAPEX events, cash rebates are also up for grabs for eligible purchasers, as well as voucher giveaways. HOC – MAPEX April 2019 will also have several activities for kids, such as face painting, a colouring station, as well as free popcorn and cotton candy.

Meanwhile, among the speakers who have confirmed their participation for the property talk sessions are Charles Tan of kopiandproperty.com, Shamir R of www.preventcrimenow.com, Iverson Lee of Joey Yap Consulting Group and Sandeep Singh Grewal of SubHome Hospitality Group.
