HUAWEI cemented its mark with the launch of its HUAWEI Mate 20 series last year, with tech enthusiasts labelling it as the ‘flagship series of the year’.
HUAWEI Mate 20 series also showed us that innovation is constantly evolving. It just doesn’t end there however, the long-awaited HUAWEI P30 Series took off to a good start with the leak of a super moon image by Richard Yu, where the device is rumoured to have Leica Quad Lenses, effectively rewriting the rules of photography.
Gearing up the anticipation for the launch of the HUAWEI P30 series in Malaysia, HUAWEI has announced that the HUAWEI Backup, which incorporates a dual-use charger, may be listed as one of the freebies to be given out during the local HUAWEI P30 Series launch.
Available in China for RMB699, the round-shaped device that’s housed in a waterproof fabric material consists of a 1TB external hard drive solution which you can use to automatically or manually backup data on your smartphone.
The device, which only weighs 270g, also passes off as a pass-through charger for a 5V2A, 9V2A HUAWEI fast charge, or a 5V4.5A HUAWEI super fast charge adapter.
Simply connect a HUAWEI super fast charge adapter to its USB-C port and off you go. Files such as photos, videos, documents, and apps are instantly backed up without the need to install any apps.
Speculations are abundant that the soon-to-be launched HUAWEI P30 series will include never-before zoom and lowlight capabilities. Various leaks on social media have led us to believe that the new series can zoom into a very close distance in addition to taking clear shots with low lighting, without compromising the quality of the photos.
With the HUAWEI P30 series destined to ‘Rewrite the Rules’, and the likely availability of the HUAWEI Backup as one of the freebies during the launch in Malaysia, stay tuned to HUAWEI’s official social media platform at www.facebook.com/HuaweiMobileMY for more surprises and announcements.
