Hannah Delisha, Ameera Khan, Hafeez Mikail and Hafidz Roshdi Celebrated the first sales day of HUAWEI nova 3i
HUAWEI’s brand new nova 3i arrived on Malaysian shores following its star-studded launch event last week. Keeping the momentum in welcoming its new device, HUAWEI organised the very first consumer roadshow at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya to showcase the world’s most powerful AI-powered quad-camera system to-date.
The queue started as early as 8.00 AM on the first sale day at the consumer roadshow. More than 1,000 eager customers lined up waiting to be one of the first few proud owners of the new nova 3i. The on-ground roadshow was also heavily supported by celebrities and co-partners – Celebrity Fitness, Sunway Lagoon, Viu, KL Fashion Week, Grab, Nerd Unit, Starbucks, Lazada and AirAsia, just to name a few.
“We are thrilled to see so many nova fans eager to get their hands on the newly launched nova 3i at the consumer roadshow today. HUAWEI nova 3i becomes another great milestone for the brand following the sellout of HUAWEI nova 2i when it was first launched,” said Matthew Ng, Deputy Country Director, HUAWEI Malaysia.
“HUAWEI nova 3i retails at the friendly price of RM1,249, which is intended to approach more people to enjoy the benefits and fun of AI technology. In the meantime, this has always been the testament to HUAWEI’s kind initiative of running businesses and giving back to the customers,” he added.
At the HUAWEI nova 3i consumer roadshow, the event was graced by local celebrities – Hannah Delisha (who is also the nova ambassador), Ameera Khan, Hafeez Mikail and Hafidz Roshdi. A meet-and-greet fan session was conducted, as well as demonstration of the device’s professional selfie shot using the AI-Selfie. This feature is able to identify eight different scenes and objects and apply the right filter for selfie lovers.
The first 1,000 nova 3i customers were rewarded with exclusive prizes worth up to RM 1,000, which include a HUAWEI Bluetooth Earpiece, a HUAWEI A2 Band and a Nerd Unit T-shirt, as well as other co-brand offers.

Introducing the 3D QMOJI Themed UI
3D QMOJI is now brought to life as HUAWEI introduced the new User Interface (UI) based on the theme 3D QMOJI.
Powered with the most interactive camera feature ever, 3D QMOJI allows users to turn their head into an avatar based on a few cartoon characters such as cat, bunny, robot, just to name a few.
Available in all HUAWEI nova 3i devices, users are advised to insert a sim card before activating the theme at the HUAWEI Theme Store.
Users also must disregard magazine unlock when applying this UI. Nova users can now customise their smartphone based on their everyday mood with the themes of adorable cat, breezing penguin, or animated chameleon!
