In the month of serenity, blessings and giving this Ramadhan, Yayasan Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, the CSR arm of Naza Corporation Holdings, embraced the spirit of Ramadhan through its annual activities to spread festive cheers during the holy month.

YAYASAN Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin invited a total of 130 orphans from four orphanages and their guardians for a special Iftar, presenting an opportunity for shareholders of Naza Corporation Holdings to break fast with the children.

The Buka Puasa event, held at Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC), was hosted by the co-founder of the foundation, Puan Sri Datin Seri Utama Zaleha Ismail and her family SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin, Datuk Wira SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin, Marion Caunter Abdullah, Nur Diana SM Nasimuddin, and Nur Nadia SM Nasimuddin.

The children had a great time interacting with the shareholders and even performed for the night as a way of thanking the foundation and its shareholders.

Puan Sri Datin Seri Utama Zaleha Ismail represented Yayasan Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin on 8th June at a ‘Berbuka Puasa’ with Rumah Sejahtera Perkampungan Ibadah in Raub, Pahang and took this opportunity to present zakat contributions to the charity home.

Yayasan Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin contributed RM5,000 to the home’s management committee to purchase daily necessities for the residents.

Apart from that, provisions in the form of rice, sugar, cooking oil and biscuits worth over RM1,000 were donated to the charity home. To make this Syawal more meaningful for the residents of the home, Yayasan Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin also contributed another RM1,800 to build wardrobes for the home.

On 9th June, Yayasan Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin volunteers brought joy to Pusat Jagaan Anak Yatim & Miskin Sri Kundang in Kampung Baru, Kuang, where they set up the PINTAR Mobile Learning Unit for residents of the home.

A customised vehicle fitted with various educational tools, the PINTAR Mobile Learning Unit serves to bring knowledge to young children. During the visit, Puan Sri Datin Seri Utama Zaleha Ismail, Datuk Wira SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin and Marion Caunter Abdullah handed over zakat contribution to the charity home’s representatives.
