Castrol Malaysia has partnered with Cove Circuit to launch a nationwide initiative aimed at educating and empowering new drivers and riders about the critical role of engine oil in vehicle performance and longevity.
The campaign is anchored around the Unleashed Youth Simracing Championship—a university tour combining interactive mini-games, simracing challenges, and educational engagement to demonstrate how Castrol EDGE delivers up to 30% better performance in engine power, acceleration, and durability.
Taking place at selected universities across Klang Valley, the roadshow invites students to experience hands-on learning and racing excitement. Attendees can participate in mini-games that highlight the impact of choosing the right engine oil and compete in simracing trials designed to uncover emerging motorsport talent.
“This campaign reflects our commitment to shaping the future of mobility by equipping the next generation with essential vehicle care knowledge,” said Gan Wee Kiong, Market Sales Director, Castrol Malaysia & Singapore.
Open to youth aged 18–24, the Unleashed Youth Simracing Championship includes qualifiers at Cove Circuit Cyberjaya (2–3 Aug) and Bandar Sunway (9–10 Aug), with a female-only qualifier on 15 August at Sunway Pyramid, ahead of the semi-finals (16 Aug) and grand finale (17 Aug). The top racers will compete for a prize pool of RM30,000, split across male and female categories.
Registration is free during campus roadshows and RM10 for online sign-ups via www.unleashedsimracing.com.
