LG Electronics Malaysia (LG Malaysia), in collaboration with Pusat Darah Negara (PDN), announced that the recent annual Life’s Good Blood Donation Drive 2025 has successfully collected 60 blood bags from donors who stepped forward to support the nation’s blood supply.

Held at KL Eco City, the successful drive comes at a critical time for Malaysia’s blood supply. According to PDN data, Malaysia requires at least 2,200 bags of blood daily 1 to meet the needs of patients nationwide.

While the country has successfully collected 2 790,680 blood bags overall in recent periods, demand often outpaces supply during holidays, emergencies, and medical conditions like thalassaemia, cancer treatments, trauma cases, and severe dengue.

Justin Choi, Managing Director of LG Electronics Malaysia, expressed appreciation for the community’s support in participating for a good cause, “Life’s Good when we do good, and we’re grateful to every Malaysian who participated in this year’s drive.

Collecting 60 bags means 60 potential lives impacted, and we’re proud to have facilitated this alongside PDN.” Dr. Mohammad Masrin Md Zahrin, Director of Pusat Darah Negara, emphasised the partnership’s significance. “Our partnership with LG Malaysia this year has made a real impact.
