DVocTrac, a remote-working and health-tracking web application for SMEs
ProOffice Solutions Sdn Bhd (ProOffice), a subsidiary of HeiTech Padu Berhad, is set to change the way Malaysians work from home (WFH) via its newly-developed application, DVocTrac.
DVocTrac, a user-friendly remote-working cum health-tracker that is specially designed to help local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) who are facing economic challenges due to the current pandemic and also post COVID-19.
With an investment of more than RM100,000, DVocTrac is the latest product developed by a team led by Joshua Smith, HeiTech’s Vice President of Technology, who was also recently listed in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia 2019 under the category of Finance & Venture Capital.
“Life hasn’t been the same ever since the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Joshua. “Life won’t be the same after this either. Since workers are working away from the watchful eyes of employers, tracking their productivity is essential.”
Working remotely or WFH is expected to become the new working culture with the Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, saying that it will be one of the ‘new normal’ during this Movement Control Order (MCO) and afterwards.
“Business has to go on for SMEs. DVocTrac allows companies, especially SMEs, to carry on their businesses with employees working remotely and at the same time able to track the productivity of their workers,” he added.
Currently, a total of 98.5% of all business establishments in Malaysia are SMEs and in 2018, these SMEs have contributed RM521.7 billion of the nation’s gross domestic product (GDP).
SMEs currently provides 5.7 million jobs to 70 percent of Malaysia’s workforce.
“Our country’s economic fate does rely on the success of SMEs. Primarily, the target market for DVocTrac are SMEs who have 150 or more employees. However, we do not exclude anyone and if the start-ups have more than five employees, they are most welcomed to use DVocTrac,” said Joshua.
The app also offers a special feature where companies are able to gauge the health status of their workers and advise the employers on the health of their workforce and whether to send them for the COVID-19 test.
This is pursuant to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry’s call for companies to monitor the compliance of the conditions as stipulated by MOH and also to ensure that health screening and preventive measures are implemented for the safety of employees and customers.
“DVocTrac has a feature to store health conditions of employees as stipulated in the requirement and has the function to monitor the health of employees including any symptoms of fever, dry cough, body aches, respiratory illness, headache or sore throat. If none then the employees can select “I Feel Good!”.
In addition, ProOffice offers the ability to customise the app’s features depending on the
requirements of clients.
“In the long run, ProOffice has long term plans to enhance and upgrade the apps and
clients will get to ride on the added benefits,” added Joshua.
In conjunction with the launch of the DVocTrac, ProOffice offers an attractive and affordable package for the companies and those who are interested can enjoy 1-week
free trial.
